The Terrain rating has been dropped from 3½ to 2½ due ability to circumvent the altitude. My apologies for those who may have been relying on that somewhat unique D/T rating, but it will be back - soon, with a 2½ / 4 rating, as it is some 20 cm taller now !!

Loved it logged it left pathtag this was a very clever cache went straight to gz and then started to scratch the head trying to work this one out then found small hint of alternate method and bazinga log signed TFTC
After a trip to Coffs Harbour we pulled up here for a break on way home to rest up and grab a cache.
Once at GZ had to read the logs again to get some ideas anyway we found it and signed the log and was on the way again. TFTCSL

We stopped in here to use the facilities and buy some plastic breakie.
Afterwards we headed to GZ where some previous logs made this one very easy.
Thanks

Followed clues but no luck, the only thing that was around we could have high fived, we looked there also and found nothing.
It took my Gps a little while to settle on the right spot, but there was only 1 spot to start looking. After signed the log, someone pulled up with their dog but I was able to replace it without them watching. Thanks for a great cache! (strength may be more of an advantage than height on this one)
Awesome hide. CO has put a lot of effort into this one. Thanks for going the extra mile & making it not too easy. Love it. TFTC
Found with AuroraEve and Skypirate~ 14:10pm. A tricky hide I think technically it is too high versus the rules but at the moment the workaround works. Didn't find the clue useful. So not only a problem for height challenged but you also need some strength. I like the hide though, nicely made.
Found with fading light with Marc Clapton on the way to Newcastle. Being a nurse, I appreciated the container!
Great cache. Nice and quick find whilst on the move to Newcastle for the weekend. TFTC
Log needs replacing as its full, we didn't have a small enough logbook to replace it with sorry.

Found pencil nearby but container missing in action, Trotter_21 might know more. Maybe we are just super blind.
Found with kittykaty 180 today. Was stumped at first by this one but followed the lead of others and brought the cache down to a more manageable height. Loved the hide on this one. Signed the full log and replaced cache. TFTC
Returning home after garden club outing and collecting a few along the way. Worked this one out ok. Thanks Cookie
I came completely unprepared to retrieve the cache. I stood for about a minute looking skyward waiting to inspiration to take me (or perhaps for a ladder to fall from the sky). Neither happened so it was logic and lateral thinking that finally had me with cih doing the log book thing. SL TFTC
Decided to come here on the way home from town today. Had previously tried to get the cache before but I had been pulling the wrong thing, and today I didn't climb it, so this made an easy find. Well constructed cache grahame
This cache can only be at one location. Fortunately, I didn't have to climb, but was able to bring the cache down to my height.

We have found a nice little spot at the Coopernook Hotel to park the caravan and go off caching. Today we headed out towards Old Bar and enjoyed finding this cache. We enjoyed the scenery and having a look around the area. This one bought to mind the saying "there is more than one way to skin a cat" . This one gets a fav point.
Thanks to Grahame Cookie.
Thanks to Grahame Cookie.
We loved this one! Mr C is 6'4" but he "got creative" with his man muscles to retrieve this one as his great height wouldn't cut it! TFTC.
Found while on our 3rd trip through this area over the last 3-4 weeks.
What an ingenious cache hide. Certainly made me use my initiative, even though it may have been slightly outrageous. (Mrs H & C thought so anyway, I thought it was clever)
Definitely worthy of a Favourite. Good one Grahame Cookie.
Took Nothing Left Nothing, Signed Log, TFTC.

1905 Well the MtBike CERTAINLY helped here!! (Just had to be careful of the 'paint-work'.)
Loved it!

We drive to taree with my good friend for 3 days from Central Coast... We find caches all the way...
5270 + 580 = 5850. When Sol de Lune and I first saw the Mid North Coast Wander Power Trail published we knew we had to go for it. With 2 Long Weekends in a row for the ACT this weekend was chosen as the ideal time. We headed up on Friday and grabbed a few caches on the way and then a few in Taree where we stayed. Saturday and Sunday we knocked off the entire Power Trail, only having 2 DNFs along the way.
After finishing the Power trail we headed home today grabbing a few caches as time permitted. This was the fourth today found nice and early. We had to get Gas so this was an ideal cache to grab as well. Since I couldn't get to the cache the cache had to come to me. Worked fine as well. Thanks again Grahame Cookie !!
TNLN - TFTC !!
Cheers

Fitzy made the find on this one and we then headed over to fill the car for the trip home. Another neat little cache that was fun to find.
Thanks for another one Grahame Cookie

Well what can we say, read a couple of logs on the way to the cache and had all sorts of visions of what we would find. When we pulled up the usual you've got to be kidding was uttered. We decided to exit the car and inspect the GZ closer before resorting to drastic measures. It was now a possible solution presented it's self, we soon had the cache in hand and were leaving with a big smile on our faces. A great fun cache thanks Grahame Cookie.
#1111
This was a 'fun' one.
I keep caching tool #3 in the back of the car for these sort of hides, but it wasn't up to the task.
There was a convenient piece of wood lying on the ground, so bikerbuddy used it to climb up to try to get the cache. But he still wasn't quite high enough to have a good angle for retrieval. So I climbed the wood to get a little initial height, then got hoisted up further by him and finally got enough height to get the cache.
Realised afterwards that maybe driving closer and climbing on the car would also have worked.
Thanks

We stopped to get something at McDonalds while travelling north for the Mid North Coast Event. This one was a surprise and proved something of a challenge, especially since we didn't have a child with us to do what I would normally do in these situations. Instead, Toriaz got the honour of being hoisted in a most undignified manner to retrieve the cache. Thankfully, we were far enough away from the main crowds of the Service Centre, or this may have been quite embarrassing. Thanks
Inventive retrieval and replacement, thanks for the log. Now for coffee. Thanks Grahame Cookie.
Love this cache hide, was going to lift geoson but lifted something else. Very clever !!!
Found this one on the way north. Being tall did help with getting the cache out

Found on a day of geocaching from Taree- Bootawa & back to Taree.
Lots of beautiful country side, some dirt roads & great views.
This was a challenge to retrieve & harder still to replace. Glad to log a find with what we had on hand.
Giving this one a favourite point
Thanks Graham Cookie

With our destination less than 200km south we knew the geo-time for the journey in convoy with the Pprass Patrol would be considerably longer than the average driving time.
We had to be inventive with our approach, not just once of course as HP is not a foot and mouth artist.
The novelty of this cache gets a tick from us.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Grahame Cookie.

Brilliant! We had a lot of fun searching and were very impressed by it's placement! TFTH!
I had to take some leave to appease the work gods so after some discussion with Just a cacher we decided to head north to escape the Canberra cold and play on the mid north coast.
A quick find after a some lateral thinking.
Thanks for the cache

Last few caches on the way back to Canberra with Black Bunny.
Thanks, Grahame Cookie!
Thanks, Grahame Cookie!
On our way to Sydney to find this tall cache Geoson needed to get on Geodad's shoulders. Great camo in a quiet area to let the dog have a run.

Found at 2:15 PM GAFF3. Gosh - you certainly have to be tall! I should have parked the car next to it and stood on the sill, but I first tried the stick method and after a few moments I had the very well made cache in hand. Putting it back was a bit tricky as well.
Thanks Grahame Cookie - you certainly are keeping the difficulty terrain ratings up there!

Found it No.6598 ... needed a help fom a ladder to get this one ... TNLN ... TFTC Graham Cookie
Found with geo hubby (sesblocker), while on our holiday in Forster. Retrieved this clever cache after climbing on sesblocker's shoulders. TFTC Cookie
Found with "The Neighbs". Quick find but a bit longer for the retrieval :-/
TFTC!!
TFTC!!
The hiding place was pretty obvious but getting to it was another matter entirely!! Thanks to a piece of help lying nearby we got it! 4/4 on our road trip south! TFTC!!
Okay, clever hide. I am going to have to start bringing a ladder with me, as one day I will not be able to get the car close enough for one of these. Thanks.
I thought of giving the little bloke a high five, and I had to. The only TOTT I had was my abiltity to climb.
I did the same trick as another cache close by here. The only thing was that when I was in a position to remove the cache, I pulled it on tighter. Back to the car for a makeshift knock-o-meter. Back up the thing at GZ I soon had the ingenious cache in hand.
BTW, there is only 2 logs in the book now. The first to log ... is not there. Their online log needs deleting as the 2 that have logged it went to some trouble to claim it. Just my 2 cents worth.
Cheers from Browngang

Set up my surveying tripod to slip this one some skin!
A great stop on the way home from a busy day.
Really enjoyed this one. Think the rating is fair.
Thanks GC
