Logs
I was hoping someone else may find it but from the previous few logs this one appears to have been muggled.
With snockley and sharp eyes- no luck after about 30mins / mozzies had a good feed on us. Snake skin discovered. Clues made sense as did the photos - just couldn't find the cache
This is a better photo of the snake that was at the coordinates of the cache. Please be carful when searching here.
I came across this bad boy in the exact coordinates of the cache. Please Be careful when digging around here.
I Was unable to find the cache however I did find a massive snake curled up in the exact coordinates of the cache. So please be careful when looking here. I was unable to take a photo on my phone but will attach a photo of the camera which has a photo of the snake on it.
Had a concerted look for this, eventually around the right tree until a green army crew ambled by, then we went for the nearby ones. Geomum had another go after reading all the logs while dad hiked in search of a bowerbird, but we came up empty handed. Getting hungry needed to move on.....

Thanks for cache

No pen! I wasn't planning on caching. Please put a small pencil in the cache. Neat hide! Tftc!

11:41:00 AM. A nice ride along the beach path today. After a brief search the cache was found and signed. We remember finding one of these last year. Thanks 2N's for placing this cache.
a few hours to kill in Townsville this afternoon
good day for it ...
time for a few caches
some Mackay cachers recommended this one
so I thought I would head out for a look
(plus I still had to grab the nearby puzzle/unknown)
this one first
no worries, but will admit that I had a hint as to what I was looking for
Signed log and replaced
nice one [^]

On a road trip up to Townsville for a very important meeting for Mrs Bundy. She is heading to Japan for a month away, in a couple of months time, with Scouts to attend the 23rd World Scout Jamboree. She is going as a Troop Leader, in charge of 36 people. I feel its a great honour for her, for her 25 + years of dedicated work as a leader.
We had stayed at Sarina overnight, after travelling up from Gladstone.
Nice easy one, interesting container. Plenty of loving mossies about.
Cheers

After several fails I brought the kids and wife along to find this one... The kids found it, wife goes that's not it, daddy says yes it is look.... Awesome cache
We looked and we looked and we looked - almost gave up - the mozzies had A BALL - and then finally success. Thank you for a great cache.
Well took us awhile to find PIXIE but when we did we knew which direction to look and look we did until we found this great cache. Keep searching cachers until you find this interresting cache. Get a fav from us. TFTC
I was given a choice late morning by the Minister for War and Finance - you can either come to the shops with me or you can drop me off and go caching. Not much of a choice really.......
I arrived here in the heat of the day. I don't have a good history finding caches on this sort of feature. Pixie was a help to me - a lot more use than the GPS, which had mire bounce than a trampoline factory.
So, following Pixie's directions, I searched and expanded out from Pixie until eventually I made the find. Not quite the container I was expecting, but it all makes sense now.
Thanks for the cache, 2N's

Take mozzie replant! Good hide, couldn't get cache out though could just manage to get the log out to sign!
Bon voyage Christine.
Farewell to a friend and work colleague, hello to a black swarm of bities, had to use our heads to try and work out a few of the clues other people had given, but with the dancing and slapping our brains weren't working fast enough. Then we had the AHha moment and it all made sense.
Great find

Only took a few minutes looking large left of pixie after daughter spotted "pixie "
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there 2N's. We found your cache "Eating Out" at 3:10:35 PM today.
This was our 1st cache find in a caching run of 1 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9741.)
[Blue]
Acting on some information gleaned while attending a "Non Event" today, we decided that we just had to attempt this cache one more time, and found this cunningly concealed cache a little distance away from our last search area, but - well within an an acceptable search radius.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Good (We found the cache around 5m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

We DNF'd 1 caches today. [:(!]
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 9:22:00 AM, but we couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

That's a dnf for us .. Ran out of daylight will Definately try this again soon !
Out and about again today driving around Townsville looking for a cache or two.
No luck with this one today. Spent way.... to long looking for it; only because I was getting attacked by mozzies. Maybe another time.

this was going to be my first stop
on an afternoon of caching drive byes - too hot for a good walk
but the entrance was packed with a truck load of Segways [?]
opted to turn around and try and do some of the others I passed on the way out.
looked like it could have been a fun way to grab a few Pallarenda caches tho

Absolutely excellent idea, picked up a few times and still didn't realise it was the cache until we thought about it more. It's all in the name.... Tftc
RobS72 and I had a quick look for this one but were beaten back by the vicious clouds of mossies. We retreated back to the car and I lathered on the insect repellant and went back out with RobS72 providing valuable back up from the car. After a thorough search I finally spotted what I was looking for. Nice hide. TFTC.
I wont lie, I piked half way through the search due to the ferocious mosquito population inhabiting the area. I was almost carried away by one the size of a VW Volkswagen!! MattCNS splashed some repellant around and went back in to the black swarm. He eventually returned with the prize in hand. TFTC 2N's. SL. {#510}.
We were almost eaten by all the mossies that were around. For eating out at this nice place we had only to bring half of the cutlery. TFTC
Found @ 10:00am
Relatively quick find after consulting a few recent logs, I didn't like my chances but was lucky in under 5mins.
Down from cairns for the weekend exploring!

I can't imagine how we missed this Cache last time, they are easy when you look in the right place and you know what you are look for. Overall I reckon that we have spent an hour over two different trips to Townsvile. It is always great to turn a DNF into a Found It. Cheers.
Just a quick grab. Easy find as I had already picked it up and replaced it without knowing it was the cache. TFTC SL
Haha sister had it in hand and didn't know it until we decided to read other comments.
Found the major clue and a dirty nappy inside a tree hollow...lots of leaf litter around so have up pretty quickly on this one!
Talk about being addicted to geocaching...saw the CO comment and just had to try again and yep I was so close the first time, doh....a nice easy find, woo hoo!
Quick Easy Find™
[white] Truth be told geoP was researching previous log as we headed out to find this one. After geoD spotted all the DNFs and a CO note to the effect the cache was in place we just couldn't resist having a go. The find was pretty quick, which was just as well as the mozzies were in attack mode! [/white]

Going by the string of DNFs I didnt like my chances but still had a go, yep Pixie didnt want to play so no cache was found tho I did find a used nappy...does that count?? Lol
We were pretty sure what we were looking for here (which probably would have been quite useful in looking for itself). Maybe Pixie turned into an imp and hid the cache or perhaps those hundreds of mossies that mobbed us carried it off, but no luck for us today.
Did not Find on the NQ leg of our Round Aust Trip, see blog - http://mrlocks.tumblr.com/
Well didn't have a lot of time to look real hard for this one, there was a lot of trash lying around and I didn't have my usual shopping bag handy to CITO
UMM, Oh yeah, Pixie? ok too good a hide for us this time, may come and have another go sometime

Found at 1006 with my sister and Marge. Took a bit to find and my sister found it in the end. TFTC.
1st for the day at 7am. A quick find thanks to the clue. Would have never thought of using something like this as a cache container - very clever. Thanks.
Found it! Funny I didn't realize I'd found it for 10 mins. Didn't have a pen though
Took some visitors from Victoria out to Pallarenda this afternoon and since this one was still on my to-do list we did a quick stop on the way out of the NP. Well, it wasn't so quick after all, as it took as some time to find the cache. No torch, low battery on phone and daylight quickly fading made this find a little tricky

LOL! Nice cache
Pixie actually gave up more than we had bargained for.....we found a sawn off rifle hidden in the grass nearby while we were searching!! Called the Police and they said it had undoubtedly been used in a holdup in Townsville.....it was still in working condition, but not loaded [?]

After two DNF's decided to recheck cache. Yep it is still there in all it's glory waiting to be found.
Coming hungry here for Eating Out we had to leave the place disappointed. An intense search with eight eagle eyes could not locate the cache. Even the secret clue provided didn't help either.

Tftc. Nice hide. Had us going for a while. Found with w00dy93
As we were leaving we thought we spotted a pair of cachers sneaking around in a green jimny...

An interesting spot but too many bike muggles hovering around - an organised bike trek was using the same area.
We'd just finished "up the hill" and pulled up in a near by car park and looked at the GPS. We could see that GZ was occupied by some people, they looked to be searching for the Cache?? As we got closer we could see that they were Geocachers, so we introduced ourselves to Team Robins. It is always good to meet like minded pepole. Togerther we searched and together we didn't find it. Maybe we'll have better luck next time. Cheers.
