Unfortunately need to archive this cache...the area is being excavated and the sign "Ayres Rock" is destroyed or missing.
Cache has gone missing, thanks ..Pheebster for letting me know, will attend to replacement asap
Cache has been damaged (MIA) we stumbled across the log and pencil though, so I count that as a find haha. Contact has been made by Geofamily to earthly65 so stay tuned for news I spose. TFTC. 1 of 14 found today, very successful Cachepedition. Found in the company of Rusty Dutchman, The Pheebster and Geopuppy!
Technically we found it, well half of it anyway just the log book and the pencil were just lying on the ground. So geofamily contacted Earthly65. Just watch for updates. We currently have the log book and the pencil.
Found the remains of the cache. Thanks Earthly65 for the email to The Pheebster. We'll be back once the cache is replaced. Great drive to get here. With Geofamily - The Pheebeter, iLocate and Geopuppy!!
Found at 4:06 PM GAFF1. This was a calamity! After a fantastic drive through the forest (we have a similar drive in the Coolabakh NP) we jumped out, looked at GZ and then proceeded to search all over the place. We eventually got back to GZ and there it was - in totally unexpected spot! Don't know how long it will remain there, but a bold hide indeed.
Thanks earthly65
Thanks earthly65
You never know what's hiding on these back roads but Uluru? Our second FTF for the day at 9.30am. TFTC earthly65.
This was the sixth of ten finds during today's cachepedition. It was great to get out and amongst it on this glorious day. I haven't found this many caches on one day for a long time. Thanks for all your work placing the caches and the accuracy of your co-ordinates.
This one made me smile. It also made me realise how bad my geography must be as I always thought this landmark a bit further to the west of here.
