I was planning to be in North Sydney today so, last night, I solved a couple of Slaytornator puzzles, got Evince’s blessing and travelled down on the train with the expectation that I would soon have a couple more mysteries to add to my tally (I’m trying to concentrate a little more on quality than quantity at the moment). How wrong I was, I failed to find either of them. Based on the previous log and the fact that Klein #2 has not been found since early December, I wonder if it is still present. The GPSr took me to a structure but I couldn’t find anything thereon or in its vicinity, but that's not to say it's gone. Nice view though, thanks Slaytornator.

Seeing as Klein #4 was archived and this is a great cache.

Two DNFs ( and thankfully plenty of finds!). This was very strange since I found a traditional about 10m from where the final of this puzzle took me. I've solved the other Klein puzzles too but didn't see much point in searching when I had DNFed the first two. This was the favorite of the Sydney puzzles I solved. I hung around at the cache you apparently live 30m from hoping for some help but had to call it quits and get back to a train after a massive day of walking. Thanks for the puzzle, shame about the DNF.

Much easier look around at 10:30 AM on a rather gray day. Only a couple of muggles in the vicinity, most under the age of 2, and mum was looking away from me the whole time. Now I know why I didn't find it the other day--it was within a foot or so several of the muggles who were watching me. Nice container, and this completes Klein #1-3 (Klein #4 was published and perished while I was out of the country, so I never saw it). Hope that's not the end of ol' Kurt. TFTC!

We solved these puzzles when Klein #4 was published in a hop of collecting them all together but we were not fast enough before it was archieved. The 4 of us hit GZ to find it muggle free on saturday morning and soon pulled up the cache in record time (helps with lots of finders). Excellent camo so very happy to log. Nice bit of work has gone into the cache and into the puzzle. Well done TFTC

A fav point from us

Was hoping to nail the trifecta of Klein #1-3 today, but I arrived at GZ for this one right at lunch hour. Big mistake on a beautiful warm day. Sometimes muggles ignore me--they weren't ignoring me today, I was getting some really weird looks. I will be back, but not at 1PM!

Solved the puzzle last night with the help of an app on the iPad, before coming and finding the cache this morning. Cool container, only come across a couple of these before. Favourite point awarded!

TFTC Slaytornator!

I enjoyed this puzzle. Reminded me just a touch of another one I did not too long ago (although it is different). Couldn't get the last coord number but guessed what it might be.

The hide is a great & one you wouldn't expect in such a highly urbanised setting. Glad I did it on a Sunday. Nice one Slaytornator, thanks.

Liked the puzzle, although had to resort to Shazzam for the last song. Liked the hide too!

#1450
I had solved this a while back and having a little musical knowledge, only needed a little help with some parts. Today, finally in the area, I drove over and parked up to street. Walked down and got to GZ with a few muggles here and there. Searched, checked the hint and then figured it must be 'THAT'. Checked and sure enough the clever camo revealed the cache. Terrific one Slaytornator, loved it. I SL and replaced. A FAV point for the camo. TFTC.

25/09/12 1:09 PM. Cache #116. Worked out the clues this morning although I didn't know song 6. Luckily this version of a coord checker, unlike evince, doesn't make you wait 10 minutes between attempts, so through trial & error I quickly had gz sorted. Headed here at lunch - plenty of muggles around, but no one watching. The hint had me thinking along the lines of a certain elevation, but when I thought outside the box, there it was - cleverly constructed camo will get you a fave point, Slayts, when I get to 120.

Edit (28/9): I'm at 120 so here's ya point. Smile

A very different and excellent puzzle. With a little knowledge, some looking up, and a it of a cheating app, the puzzle was solved.

Nice little park and a great hide, thanks again for your work.

Favourites for the fun puzzle and the cool cache

After solving this great puzzle I was most disappointed not to find the cache this morning. Perhaps more time and without another engagement pressing I might have gotten there- next time...

Ironically I was here this morning and can confirm the cache is still there

#524 I had a hard time guessing some of the songs. The 1st one was familiar but there's no lyrics for me to Google. The last tune was the same. And the one with the lyrics "say it out loud"(?) was also quite tough. So I thought I'll have to postpone this puzzle. Then recently, I updated my Android SW version from Ice Cream Sandwich to the new Jelly Bean. And to my pleasant surprise, one of the newest cool features is to "Google" the song. You basically have the phone "listen" to the song, and it will tell you the title if that song/tune. That was pretty awesome. And it was able to guess all the songs! Soon, the coords was verified using geochecker and off to GZ.
GZ can be quite tricky. Weekday lunchtime is very busy. So you need the right timing. You can't blame them taking a break there because it has good views. Nice work on the cache! I'm not a premium member, but this is one of my fave caches. Thanks for crafting a really creative cache!

Solved yesterday in preparation for work here today. Actually had to ask my sister for #1. Probably the most famous but I picked the wrong composer and got lost. Excellently hidden.

Got it! Clever and fun puzzle, Slaytorator. Found a good app to help us decipher some of the tunes - SoundHound. Great views from GZ. We got lucky this afternoon and were there before too many muggles were around. Tricky camo - perfect in light of recent weather. SL TC Cheers... Gaztek

Figured out first half of the puzzle straight away and then put it on hold for some time. After finishing off Klein#3 we had another look at this one but still could not identify 4 and 6. So we called GE and a bit of logics to the rescue and had the checker agreed at the first try.
The find took longer than expected due to an unusual camo.

Thanks, Slaytornator, for another great puzzle cache, our first 'musical' one!

PS. Well worth of a FAV point, except we don't have one right now. Soon to come Smile

+++ 15.8.12 allocated the FAV point +++

Solved this in Lismore last week before my trip to Sydney. I was staying very close to GZ and chose a great day to find the cache. Sunday afternoon, 5pm, cold and windy.

Took a lot longer to find than I wanted. However when I did find it I was kicking myself as I had seen this before.

Great cache.

Thanks

Enjoyed the musical component of this cache. Something there for everyone! Excellent hide as well. Love puzzles - keep them coming TFTC

I solved the puzzle over the weekend, using a combination of technology and owned music, which luckily didn't take too long. I decided to search on the home commute, so reached GZ in early dusk, which provided lovely city light views. I was trying to decipher the hint when another Geocacher made himself known (not just admiring the view, then?!), so we were able to search together, and make the find by bouncing ideas. Nice container! TNLNSL TFTC

Solved this back in Brisbane before heading down to Sydney for work.
Came out in search during a lunch break which proved to not be such a good idea with all the locals using this nice place for lunch.
The GPS was all over the place and at one time sending me into a local church!
I made a mental note of a couple of places I wanted to look at later when not so busy.
So, came back at around dusk when there was just enough light left to search.
Met a fellow Geocacher there, fdsawq, and we searched together.
fdsawq, found it in a place I noted earlier but he got to it first!
Thank you for the effort put into the puzzle and the nice hiding spot.
Now I have to go in search of your Klein #1....
TFTC Smile

With the help of my geodaughter and technology we were able to solve the clue. Came looking for this today with a friend. Were a bit confused by the hint until the penny dropped! Thanks so much for the fun of solving this and I was amazed by the construction of the cache. I am awarding a favourite point for this well thought out cache. Thanks.

This was a great puzzle, I worked out all except the last but the Geoson / Legolads came good with that one. Today we were in North Sydney at the Garmin shop, so walked to GZ and were surprised to find the excellent cache where we did. While there we also completed a challenge by cleaning up the area. Thanks for a great hide, worth a favourite point from us!

Used some technology to decode most of the puzzle and with an opportunity to come down today, made the find after a moment of standing and looking. Good work, TFTC.

A short-ish drive from soccer training for a surprisingly easy find considering it was not at all what I had in mind.

Number 6 took a while!

TFTC.

I know I was second to solve this one as there was only one green tick beforehand. Did it without any electronic gadgetry just a lot of listening to the tricky ones and a bit of a guess on the last one which proved correct.

Today I was in the area and I recognised a spot where I've picked up movable GCA caches in the past in the days of old friend Hunter Finder. Brilliant spot and I was expecting something special. Was not disappointed. I did pick it reasonably quickly but then had a good spot to do the work and people need to read the description to avoid damage, maybe put it in the hint as well. Signed and replaced. Thanks!
Think I'll give it a favourite for all-round effort, ingenuity and the view.

Thanks!

Day 16 of Dry July
Solicited a little help with the puzzle on the first and last tune. Dropped past tonite on the way home from the city to make a quick find amongst all the muggles going home.

Nicely done, Slaytornator!!

I am happy to report that I solved it on the first attempt. (I would hope so, after all the iPod caches I made over here in the US!!).

Now if I can just make the 9335.5 mile trip to claim the find. Visiting your country IS on my bucket list. One of these days ...

Cache on!

I don't usually log by phone but this is an exception.

Was the first solver but had other priorities (catalogue deliveries Razz.

Decided to meet the CO at GZ to chat and walk together. He arrived at the same time as I did so I walked past GZ noting some objects worth searching.

Went back and made the find and nearly opened the container incorrectly.

Seen a similar one North

Looking forward to the third Slaytornator

Saw the new puzzle and managed to decode it with the help of some friends I was with. Didn't think we'd make it to GZ in time, but heh, FTF complete with my better half and our two GeoKids.

Thanks for a fun puzzle and fantastic view.
