Sadly there is no sign of action on the part of local authorities to reopen access to the area of the cache, so I have sadly decided to archive it. GrahamT
Sad to say nothing has eventuated with repairs to the pathway so this cache remins inaccessible. GrahamT
Unfortunately repairs to the beach access have not been completed and the cache remains outside the fence. There is no sign as to when this might change.
At present the area in which the cache is placed has been fenced off by Council due to problems with a nearby path to the little beach below. Hopefully action to remedy issues will be prompt.
Really good spot for this one. Very sneaky. Just look for something that doesn’t belong
This one took me far too long! Should have found it first up, but the tight spot evaded me until I had the courage to try a little harder and with a bit of a fashioned tool! Great spot, I will be back for a snorkel ASAP!!
TFTC!

Our second attempt. Still no luck...sounds very cryptic...will keep searching though!
Since I started work in Frankston a couple of years back I have been ticking off caches close enough to get out and back to during my lunch break. I'm getting to the limit of that radius but I did notice a little cluster just south of Mornington that were still within reach. I was able to park close to this one and walk the short distance to GZ. I didn't touch the decoy bin as for starters I could smell it from about 10m away! I looked around and spied another target and a short time later I had this neatly hidden cache in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache GrahamT. A lovely view from this spot too.
Sur la poubelle est noté "cache" avec une flèche. Mais celle ci ne s'y trouve pas .
A great cache! It took us a while to eventually uncover where it was, but after a couple of muggles (and a feisty dog) passed us, the cache was found. Whoever wrote 'cache' on the bin - very funny. (If you look over the cliff from the correct angle, you can see attempts/ bins 1 and 2 strewn on the edge). This is a spectacular cache! TFTC, Brainiac03
Been to the site and restored cover as originally placed. Please make sure you leave the cache site as you find it!! Thanks. GrahamT
Out of play while I replace part of the cache location in order to maintain the hiddenness!!

Good cache. Log was too wet to write on. (Found by my parents whilst on holiday in Australia)
What a beautiful spot. I couldn't find any other caches along here so going to see if the new cable car works, met a lovely gentleman who told me all about it. I throughouly enjoyed myself at this scenery
Took a nice walk on my way through Mornington and grabbed a few caches. This was a nice hide and a quick find.
Nice day for a little bike ride and to grab some caches. This one ended in a quick discovery. Log signed and all back safe again.
Great hide and gorgeous views! Retrieved between jogging muggles. Log is full. TFTC
Waiting for my son to finish work and had a bit of time to spare so i dropped in and grabbed this one. Took in the view and made sure there wasn't any muggles jogging along the path and grabbed the cache, went over to the seat to sign the log. I had to take in the view again as there was a walking and jogging muggles asking the path. The water was beautiful today. I did c the c. Thanks graham for bringing me here. Bwbandit
Geosenses told us where this one had to be. A couple weeks ago we spent too many hours at another cache hidden the same way. Persist and trust your geosenses.
A super quick find with frmen1. Had to wait for muggles to walk past before returning it. TFTC
Well, this cache frustrated me as I couldn't get to it until my 3rd attempt. I knew for sure where it was on the 2nd visit but didn't have anything on me that could be used to get it out as I usually don't carry many caching tools but boy, do you need them sometimes! This time I figured I'd use the mini crowbar in my spare tyre compartment. Ironically, once at GZ, I didn't need it as its hidey hole had been made more accessible by a previous finder, so I left it that was also for the next. Great view here and good hiding spot.
Thanks for this one GrahamT. Will get to Y R We Here soon, too many muggles that time.

So very close to giving up!
Like most the instincts were correct.
Lucky I had my keys with me.

This was the first of nine that I found today in this little cluster of caches just south of Mornington. Today started like any other Saturday for me in recovery mode from the big week at uni haha, either way I had to go out and to some chores in Frankston (a.k.a buy dad his fathers day gift) but I knew that there would be some spare hours in the day to make the final push to 200 find whoop whoop (spoilers I made it haha). Either way this was an interesting cache but I pretty much knew where it was as soon as I arrived. Anyways thanks for the cache Graham

Muggled for the second time this morning. Need my little ppl to look less dodgey, lol
Super hard to find for us newbies! The feeling of success when we finally located it was so cool! Gr8 hide, thank u!
Hmm. This one has me stumped. However, the need to know where it is will bring me back I'm sure.
We tried this without the hint but 3 iPhones, 3 people and 30 minutes could not locate the cache. We have since checked the hint and realise we were close! Great view anyway. Thanks for bringing us here.

#67. Caching is much more fun with company particularly the geograndkids! Had tried to find this cache before but no trouble this time. TFTC.
Find # 324
Out with Missmash on this fine caching afternoon to tidy up a few pesky caches. We arrived at gz and started the search. Before too long, with the aid of the hint, we found this one in a spot she had tried previously but had no luck accessing. We signed the log and returned it to its safe hiding place. TFTC.

First attempt at finding a cache, couldn't find this one, great views none the less.
After the Mornington Leap Day Event we went along with Rogdel to have another go at this one. Like so many before us we had had a DNF, our's away back in 2013, Rogdel's more recently. We had prepared together by reading and interpreting the logs alongside what we recalled of the site. Picking up on what we thought were a few spoilers, Rogdel came equipped! Success, cache in hand at 6.30 pm. Enjoyed the view of the Bay, great place to be, this Peninsula! Thank you, GrahamT, another one of your caches on the Found list and another smiley on the Mornington map. TNLNSL.
Found 29/2 with Dicksontwo. Being Leap Year Day we decided that as both teams had been here before and gone away feeling a bit puzzled a joint effort was worth it. Lovely spot. TFTC

Find 05 of 16 for the day and #1901 in total.
2nd time's a treat.
After waiting for the school group to come up from the beach & a fair bit of prying the cache was revelled right where we thought it was the first time but at least this time we were warned to be a bit more forceful.
Echo 5 - Spice 0
("\(0o0)/") Thanks for the caching fun!

Found tonight with Grumpy gramps trying to get a few numbers tonight as I close in on 3000 finds. Lovely evening tonight. TFTC
The third last cache for the night with nanton34 and it ended up being located at the first place we looked. Thanks to nanton34's persistence and car keys we got there in the end. Tftc
Arrived at GZ an figured there was only one likely spot however after trying to get to it proved difficult we broadened our search. In the end I kept being drawn back to the original spot and with a bit of persistence the cache was revealed. A tough one TFTC
When we were down this way about a year ago, I gave this a shot on a warmish day with intermittent muggle traffic but no matter where I looked, there was no smiley to be had.
With the others shopping today, I figured that I'd give it another 5-10 minutes but in the end, I had the stash in hand at 11:20 after less than 5-10 seconds! (I'm sure I'd tried there last time. ) Was it the lack of muggle traffic today, was it the 600 odd finds extra experience, was it ...? Who'll ever know.
At least it was well worth the trip back for the pleasant views.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks GrahamT.

Found with beckgiz. A little gc knowledge and you know what sorts of things to look for and touch. Tftc.
Woot!! Finally came back for another go at this one after no luck last time and this time found it straight away! Amazing what a difference some experience makes not to mention not desperately needing to toilet!! ;p TFTC!!
Certainly never C'n this bit of the C before. A pretty little cove. And a nifty little cache. Thanks GrahamT!
Had me stumped for a minute ...
