A maintenance check was conducted on Saturday 26/10/2024.The following actions were undertaken:* Cache replaced
We pumped up the tyres on our friends two old bikes because we wanted to do some of the PT trail! It was a very hot day for two people who are used to the cooler weather in Orange NSW! We really enjoyed the bike path and the caches we found! This one was very safe and dry in its hiding place. Thanks Loubla, Blakids and Lachlan
Good spot, look for 2 flat rocks, love the little geocaching logos, hit were found

Cache found. It is quite surreal that this little cache is beside a huge hospital. TFTC
Found it it was pretty easy location and a good hiding spot which wasn’t to hard to get too
G’day, I visited this cache on Wednesday 28/12/2022 and conducted a maintenance check.

Decided to take a quick break and go for a little search. Found it hidden in a pretty nifty spot
Decided to start this series today as it was nice and cool weather. This one took me about 5 minutes to find. The container is cracked and the log is soaked though. TFTC.
Took the path along the freeway and got bounced around a little due to the proximity of the buildings.
Scanned the area with the torch and found the telltale sign of a cache and soon had it in hand.

Starting to get towards the end of the year which means lots of potential to grab caches around training.
Today I grabbed a couple of finds in Como early in the day and then teamed up with SirFancy for our Tuesday night outing which this week had us walking around Murdoch.
At the end of the night I ended with 12 finds and 2 DNF’s

Found it Coords were 10m out according to my gps, but all good: as it's on the periodic run I assumed it would be on the cycle path side of the fence, not in the hospital grounds as indicated, so it wasn't long before I found it in it's hidey spot. Signed and replaced safely as found. Thanks for looking after this cache. I'm gradually getting through the periodic table... A subject close to my
Three PT caches on the freeway bike path to finish off the morning caching session. The GPS was off about 10 metres. Searched both sides of the bike path, then spotted the location. Thanks for the hide.
Concerned as pin shows it in a gated private property. Had a look around but a few muggles giving us funny looks.

Was in the area for scans so thought would grab a cache or two. Turns out it was only this cache as too many muggles around at all the others in the hospital area.
After dodging a maintenance car along the path thankfully it was a quick find. TFTC

Spent the morning grabbing some of these fwy caches.
Found this one easily as I knew it couldn’t possibly be on private land and seen as this is a fwy cache run it had to be along the bike path.
All in good condition.
Thanks for the hide Lachlan1.77

Had a quick poke about while I wasn’t needed at work. Wasn’t lucky today, but I’ll be back. I’m here quite often.

Out and about on the bike today in the local area to do some caching. Quick find here TFTC
My first ‘periodic’ find. Second time lucky today - approached from the wrong end first but a bit of logic lol needed!
Found despite phone telling us it was inside the building!! TFTC - would never have come here otherwise!
Today we wanted to start this series. Finally a nice weekend to do so. Thanks for the nice trip and this series which is hard to maintain. Had a lot fun with The-Shredder. TFTC
We have made it our mission to complete the current souvenir challenge, so today decided to make a long walk up the freeway to collect as many of these caches in this series as possible. Nice quick find, log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Out and about with Parkacruz grabbing a new cache , some of the Periodic table and a few others on the way. Only 1 dnf , so a goods days caching. tftc
We set out early morning with Neva2old to continue on the periodical table as well as others around the area, happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a big smilie TFTC
Find #64 of 365 streak. First find of today periodic run to coincide with hidden creatures souvenirs. TFTC.
A quick ride to grab a few more periodic table caches
TFTC Placed by loubla, now maintained by BlaKids this is find # 4641 for us.

Last cache for today before grabbing the train at Murdoch to head back home. Nice easy find to finish the day, we let miss 4 find this one. Tftc
Found this one exposed. Co-ords are out a little way on this one.

Thought we'd take advantage of the nice autumn day today and make a start on this series. We had to watch out for packs of older cyclists in yellow jerseys, some of who were a bit rude! We also found that most of our DNF's were located in areas where Muggles tend to walk the path. It was a good day out which started out with us riding from our home to Warnbro Station and getting off at Bull Creek where we rode to Mt Henry Bridge to start from the beginning. We then rode to Cockburn Central collecting finds along the way and decided to stop here as the GeoKids were a combination of hangry and tired. Had something to eat (at 4pm!) and jumped on the train back to Warnbro Station. Our caching ride took us 4 hours. We had 29 and 7 DNF . We will endeavour tackle the next part once the the kids can be convinced to go out again LOL! Thank you for the series!

Have replaced & moved cache. Note, this will be the last maintenance run this cache gets unless someone else wants to take ownership this (& others?). Happy hunting.
Disabling until I can get out there & give this cache it's last maintenance session.
