The CO hasn't been caching since April 2013 and hasn't been on the website since 21 Nov 2014...

As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

I noticed this cache has a string of DNFs prior to a [blue]Needs Maintenance[/blue] log which was posted on 10th April 2014. As the cache owner has not maintained this cache in a timely manner in accordance to the guidelines, I am temporarily disabling this cache.

While I feel Geocaching.com can hold this location for a cache owner and block other caches from being placed nearby, it cannot be held forever. ie Use it or lose it.

Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the [blue]archive listing[/blue] link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.

Absolutely nothing!

Nothing lept out at me as being the spot (unlike the other Zebras I have found), so I decoded the hint, but the only objects that matched appeared to be on private land, so I gave up in disgust.

Myself and GPYesss could find this one. We think we found where it should it have been, but nothing we could spy.

After a terrible day in the wet and Rain of Dunedin, having to rearrange my schedule as now couldn't drive to Christchurch the next day, I needed a pick up so headed out for a few caches in the dark and driving rain.
The rain had eased off somewhat (not a lot) so managed a quick find

I think this cache had been muggled. It was out in the open with its contents sprawled over the floor. I put it back together and hid it were I thought it might have been but may need a look in by the owner.

Found at 12.10pm this afternoon with our friend's child from Broad bay...#4 of 4 finds for us today. Only one left to find in the series now and we'll have the final! Fantastic!

Was in Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 8 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 5 of the road trip. This was our last day of caching in Dunedin region and we wanted to go back out to the Peninsula and pick up a few more caches.

After finding GC3J1FQ - Annies Reborn (Otago), this was the next cache that we had on our list that we wanted to pick up on our way around the Peninsula, as we making our way back around via Pukehiki

Making our way towards GZ, as made our way we managed to find a parking spot near the given co-ordinates and then we soon realised where this cache was going to be. Arriving near GZ we followed the hint and soon managed to find the cache with the very clever hint, retrieved, signed and replaced back as found.

Thanks CacheManChris for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (5130). This was the second one of the Zebras that we managed to capture today and we also managed to extract some numbers as well.

Found as part of an 8 day NZ Mega Event trip. Day 5 - Our last full day in Dunedin which was mainly filled in by another trip out on the peninsular and a stroll on Flagstaff hill. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Came here with fozzmiester, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees on a pleasant morning drive out on the Peninsula. The cache was a quick find - signed log, TFTC!

quick and easy ty

Out cruising along the otago peninsula caching for the day post MEGA. It was our final day of our Dunedin trip and the weather really turned it on for us! We had sun, rain, hail and snow! Just like our first day here! Awesome!!

And out hunting zebras as well! Had just got back into the car when another car turned up! TFTC!

A quick stop, find and sign. Found with RexTrex, Sol de Lune, Fitzy and Zsazsa7 on our day around the peninsula - although the weather was pretty filthy, the scenery was nice. Thanks CacheManChris.

Another one in this series as we headed back to town after a visit to lighthouse. A wet day on our tour, but we manged to make the find. The lighthosue ended up being out of reach which was a little disappointing, but the drive was still worth it.

Found with ZsaZsa7, Winglen, fitzy_1965 and Rextrex (local NZer) on our trip around the South Is after attending the New Zealand Mega. We managed to grab a few caches on travels and this was just one of them.

When we first passed this spot there was a farmer right at GZ. After visiting the castle we came back and made the find before too long. TFTC!

We had to have 2 goes at this one as on our first attempt a muggle farmer was parked right at GZ. On our return we soon had the cache in hand.

A nice quick find for the group, but the hint had us thinking of other things... Once out of the van, the hunt was on for all but Kaisho53 was the came up with the goods. The scramble was on to get back in the van... We were getting good at the routine.

Found at 10:53 AM GAFF5 in the company of Browngang and Juddda. This one took us ages to locate as we eventually went for the hint and we interpreted it to mean that it was on the black and white sign - but it wasn't. All the time we were precariously parked on the side of the road on a bend - 3 campers!
Finally the cache was stumbled upon, but we still don't know what the hint means.

This one was not where we expected it to be, with 3 Geocampers parked precariously on a bend of the road. We misinterepreted the clue however eventually located the hide.

After spending the morning caching around the inner city of Dunedin with Roostaman, we headed away from the chaos of traffic and muggles for the solitude of some scenic countryside caches. Once at GZ, we expected the cache to be in the obvious spot...but couldn't reach it without going over the fence. After another search around we eventually found it.

I visited your cache as part of a week-long self indulgent Geocaching trip from Nelson to Bluff and back again. I apologise for not leaving a completely personalised log, but I do want to thank you for the time, money and effort you put into placing your caches. Don't know how well we will be at rounding up these zebras, but guess we have to start somewhere, & this is our first zebra in the chase.

Day 6 of our N Z Mega Event adventure - we awoke to another perfect day for caching and sightseeing. We were fortunate to locate the cache easily and with the log quickly signed, we jumped back into the geo mobile to see what other caches we could find for the day.
