Drove down to the river access. Not here but definitely safer parking. The road is surprisingly busy. TFTC

When Albi mentioned about his work commitments at Fox Glacier, as always we decided to make a trip out of it, but this time its a long over due overnight one. Spending quality time together, enjoying the drive, picking up some caches, small walks, and also cherry on top, a Heli ride woo-hoo.
Cache was hiding behind all the cob webs. TFTC

After spending the night in Kumara, it was time to set off on the next part of my journey. Today's objective was ultimately GC30AD8 - but I did find a few other caches long the way. No problems here. Found the cache in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Canterbury Maintenance daytrip and we were heading out via Moana. We stopped here to replace the full log for the CO. All good here again. Happy Caching
As we were approaching this one I asked GK if he remembered finding one here, he didn't and neither did I so he stopped in the middle of the road right next to the cache and I leapt out (well hobbled). I immediately found and opened the cache and added our name to the bottom corner of a very full log. I am sorry I didn't have time or materials to replace the log for you, had I been more prepared I surely would have.
A car was approaching in the distance so I had to quickly return it and get back in the van before we got abused - but hey I guess we are just like those tourists that park anywhere to take a photo.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

This was a good little cashe. The log book was full and you need something like a key to open it. fun!
A quick find here while making my way to S.H 73. I’m enjoying the drive, the country side, and the glorious weather. TFTC
Taking the scenic route to Hokitika from Christchurch. Taking home Mr C's cousin and able to stop for a few caches. Thanks for this cache holymu.
Thanks holymu for placing this cache

Due to NZ being at Alert level 4 and some people insisting on continuing to geocache and put others at risk I am disabling my caches until such time as it's safe to resume this activity.
Any logs I receive for finds during this time will be deleted. I don't care anymore about YOUR safety than you obviously do but I do care very much about others and want them to be safe so please do NOT look for any of my caches while they are disabled.
In the meantime, there's always plenty of puzzles to be solved or created but above all PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE!

On our way back to Moana we stopped at this bridge for a fast „park and grab“.
Thanks for hiding!
Thanks for hiding!
Found while taking the scenic route - fortunately the bridge was straight so good for a park and grab. TFTC
Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMüley, now WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC
We try to find cache as close to the places we stay so it's a kind of diary. Here we started at the lake but due to all the rain the previous cache was out of reach so we came to the closest in the direction we were heading. This cache was harder than expected there were alot of webs and we searched everywhere and then on the second time of searching we found very fast beach in the first place we searched. Thanks for the cache!
Out and about over the Easter weekend grabbing some caches as I head to Christchurch via the west coast. Thank you for placing all these wonderful caches out for me to find. Had fun looking in, under , around and behind to find them. Apologies for the cut and paste logs. Your caches made the trip a lot more interesting with some adventure thrown in. TFTC
Heading to Granity with SJT_NZ and taking a 'cachers route' past some caches we were keen to take in, a quick find at GZ and all in good order. TFTC
A quick find on with Tregearp on our way to Gannity. Not the fastest route but some unfinished business from some previous DNFs to sort down Nelson Creek Rd. All in good order, signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache holymu.
Two days ago I came along to do these caches but I had a senior moment and forgot to load them into my GPS then. But now they are there.
What river isn't?[:o)]
Cheers for the cache.

2nd day of my ill-advised West Coast road trip - Spring is not the most reliable season, weather-wise on the Coast. Torrential rain and even a nearby tornado overnight!
A quick find between rain storms (not showers!). Thanks, holymu.

Last day of our enjoyable Queens Birthday visit to the West Coast. Time to find a few caches in and around Greymouth, polish off the last of the card trail bonuses then head back to Christchurch via Lake Brunner.
Lots of one lane bridges in this neck of the woods. A quick find. TFTC.

Took a minute or two to get this one but the girls found it in between avoiding the cars. TFTC

We are taking a 3 week vacation from the UK to tour around New Zealand. Arrived in Christchurch from Wellington this morning. Collected the car and started the drive to Greymouth via Porters Pass, Arthur's Pass and then the scenic route passing by Lake Brunner. We stopped and picked up many a drive by cache on our way without any problems. Thanks for everyone's hard work setting up and maintaining these caches.

A spider decided to live in the container. Great when one part of the team is scared of these animals. A quick and easy find.
6815. Very wet and rough weather today so, after going to church in Greymouth, we went out to lunch at a lovely cafe upstairs near the railway station. Then decided we would risk driving up through Taylorville, across through Moana, out through Inchbonnie and back to Kumara, geocaching all the way. This was cache find number nine of twenty for the afternoon. The weather stayed horrible the whole time! Thanks for the simple cache found in persistent rain. The container was found within seconds of parking the car. Rodney and Iris.
There was a crooked man et al and now a crooked river. Surprised to see who the CO was but it makes sense I I know you make regular trips to the area. TFTC #5956
A quick wander back to the cache from the parking spot, looking like a good river for trout. Cheers
A quick find on the way home. Found on a weekend trip to the Coast with Kiwi Moose. Thanks for the hide.
Always happy to stop at bridges and spot for trout. Today with all the rain in the past few days Crooked River is a raging chocolate torrent. Trout smart enough to hide in back eddies out of sight. Cache safe and dry. NINO TFTC

Due to bridge maintenance and road closure this cache has been removed and will be replaced once maintenance has been completed, expected to be by 9th November. Apologies for any inconvenience to cachers.
Wish I had a pole with me - but just as well - would have spent too long there. Great spot.
First time ever down this road for me, a lovely area and I really enjoyed the visit.
