We had a good search around this time again and didn't find anything around GZ and what hints describe.
Spent ten minutes searching, found two potential hint objects but not a lot else except a heap of rubbish.
I had a good look here but came away empty handed. Has anyone else had the same problem?
A cool and exposed spot this morning so some urgency in the hunt with Waiiti20. TFTC
Very windy day so ocean full of surfers. Had to pretend I was taking photos as I grabbed the cache. TFTC!!
Wow this cache has us stumped, meet aussie idol while having a look and still no cache, 3rd time lucky maybe

Yeah combined effort with Green Grimey. There were multiple places it could have been. but due to time pressure we couldn't find it anywhere.
Young surfer sitting on rocks watching me. Me watching him waiting for him to not watch me. Hint was very helpful and then just had to bide my time till I could grab it. Success after patience and much time. TFTC

Went to GZ, and started searching again. Was all around the corner of the big square concrete, again. Nothing found, other than several dead penguins. Got down and out onto the artificial reef (or sorts) and searched that side of the base. Could not locate anything matching the item in hint.
Gave up, rock hopped off the base, and headed back to the car. Spied something - a lump of concrete with an item matching hint. 10 metres from the waypoint. Too far away, we reasoned, but gave it a quick look, and found a round container labelled geocache! Success on our second visit.
Took a waypoint.
Pleased to get this one off our list today.
Note that this cache is still disabled, perhaps CO could now enable it again?

Previous logs helped but only after getting a bit puzzled and having to rethink things through. Like others was reading about 8m off the GZ - but which way is going to be over to you - South, North, West, East (though you don't need to go on to the road). And no its not under 'that' rock TFTC
Either 3rd or 4th cacher to find today. Found after dropping friend at airport. Had been here ages ago and thought saw hint object in a different place. So looked there first. After not seeing it and mucking round a bit, almost fell over it. TFTC
Pulled up to find another family looking around nearby.
Wasn't long before we found out they were new cachers, looking for the same thing.
Was having trouble locating the cache, so just started widening the search area when the other family appeared to give up and prepared to leave.
Then spotted the hint object and quickly after the cache itself.
It was only at this point, the other Dad mentioned he had seen it and was waiting for me to spot it.
Nice to meet some new cachers.

A surprisingly quick find with little blue hen having read earlier logs. Went West then South and fell over it somewhere between North and East. Gps said 6 to 8 metres from GZ but it may have been chasing a stick thrown by the dog handlers nearby.TFTCSL
Bkj97 basically tripped over it. Lovely morning for a spot of caching. T4TCSL
This took two visits - the second visit Bijouxtoo and I stopped off for some excellent hamburgers and had another stab at this while we waited. I knew I found it as soon as I saw the structure. Man that took some finding!
Took a while to find the hint object, but then all good. Left a fish and a shark. Plenty of surfing today.
no luck for us today at GZ, or in the wider search. Needle in the haystack. You see one rock that does not belong, then realise all rocks do not belong, as they are dumped as rubble!
2nd attempt at this after 1st attempt unsuccessful.
There it was right under our noses.

First cache for our early morning start in Wellington, spent some time hunting for this one. In the end we realized we were over complicating it and it was only as we were thinking this would be our first DNF that something caught our eye.

Good to get some fresh air in the lungs and stretch the legs today - just what I needed. TFTC,

It took a few minutes to spot the hint object, but hey it was a beautiful morning and there were lots of surfers enjoying the swell. It is not easy to place the container out of view though, hope it lasts.
was walking away from my GZ and eagle eye Jr taybee found it THe GPS put us about 8 meter away TFTC
Took a trip with coco87 this morning to tick some caches off our to-do list, cache almost exposed, so covered a bit more, TFTC

Tricky hide that required a second visit but recent logs were helpful in narrowing down the search area and the cache was quickly found this morning. It was sunny and pleasant this morning but I know at times it can be pretty rough here. TFTC
A previous log helped - the cache is a few metres north of where the GPSr had me. I walked passed it and then I was searching for the hint too far down. Almost gave up when I realised I was nearly standing right on top of it. TFTC
Just as we decided to abandon the search in blustery conditions gz was found as we widened the search further. TFTC
I don't think that you need to move or archive. It's hidden in a good spot. It took me a while to find but only because I walked straight past it. The GPS had me at a point about 5M south of the hide.
There a gorgeous wee baby seal lying in the rocks about 10M south.

A bit of looking required to find it, spend too much time at the indicated GZ before widening the search radius. Nice to see another cache in the area.

DNF due to being with child who wasn't the least bit interested in finding the cache and instead kept wandering up to the road. Impossible to search for a cache and keep one eye on a kid with zero road sense!! Have a fair idea where it may be so will have to come back some time on my own.
This is one of those ones where the hint isn't obvious until you find it. Followed Zissas instructions to search there and still missed it! I must be blind as a bat. Very sad end for a couple of penguins here. TFTC #3556
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Visiting family in Wellington for a long weekend. Waiting for our lunch to cook at Ekim burger bar and went fora quick look, almost gave up but spotted item in hint as we turned back.

#3994. I don't normally enjoy searches in rocky areas like this, but in this case it was just a matter of finding the hint object (which is somewhat camoflauged) and once that was spotted the cache was an instant find. TFTC.
A popular place on a sunny winters day. StreetWalker spotted the hint item, and soon had the cache in hand. After signing the log, we decided to eat our lunch here.

Found this cache while driving along the coast with Phasevisitor, who are visiting for the weekend.
We decided to have a look for this cache while waiting for our lunch order from Ekim burger bar (yum).

#3248. Went in all directions to find this one, so it took a bit longer than it should have. TNLNSL. TFTC.
I was in two minds as to whether I should even bother getting out of the car this morning as the weather had worsened with the rain blasting across horizontally. However out I got and luckily the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Saw this cache when it was published but unfortunately I was out of the area when this happened so basically stood no chance in chasing the FTF so decided that I would leave it till the next time I was in the area.
Arriving at GZ today after coming back from doing some work up the coast I thought that I might as well come and get it after reading the FTF and the other logs I thought to myself that this cache could be one of those caches that might take a few minutes to find.
Arriving at GZ I was able to use robnzh co-ordinates and narrow down the hiding spot for the cache and I soon spotted the hint and was able to find the cache in the first spot that I looked. This spot is definitely muggle central if you come here on the wrong day and lucky for me today it was quiet at GZ except for the landing and taking off of a few metal birds that made quite a roar as the started thier accent towards the sky.
Thanks for placing a cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (4498)

It took a few minutes to spot the hint object as the coords were a few meters off, however, once the hint object was spotted the cache was an instant find. A handy spot to sit and sign the log with my back to the nearby carpark.

A quick find while around town this morning. Boxhill's extra hint and coordinates correction was very useful. Signed log, TFTC!
Found today after a visit to the nearby Red Shed with the kids. The difficulty rating was accurate as I had to placate bored offspring whilst looking for the cache! Was trickier to find the hint object than the cache itself. TFTC
See my comments about rating and attributes and comments from finders about coordinates, filing this as needs maintenance to encourage the owner to attend to them.
An easy find the benefit of boxhill's log and the hint.
Very puzzled by the attributes and ratings, this is a very straightforward cache around D1.5/T1.5 with parking handy, a flashlight might be required at night like many caches, but certainly not during the day and no special tools were required- when I saw the attribute concerning special tools I thought I might have to make two trips but the find and log were accomplished within a few minutes.
Nice spot to watch the planes which is one of my favourite occupations, though today I needed to move on further, however on my way to the GZ had a good look at an executive Learjet which I don't think I have ever seen before.
From a message I have received I believe the owner is now aware of their responsibility to maintain their caches should any problems occur.
Some trackables visited, will log them through shortly.

Thanks for bringing me here chaneydog, a pleasant day & tmann421 soon had the cache in hand
FTF at 7:25am. Found after about 20 minutes looking. I note that Natnatnat has signed the log with the date 9/8/12 which is next month and if they meant 9/7/12 that is before the cache was published on the 10/7/12. So I claim the FTF Regarding the cache location, it is slightly north of the given coords and the item is not a natural object. TNLN SL TFTF
Quick detour while attempting Skindo's new A-Z series. Had a rocky time with GPS so resorted to tracking down the hint object. Co-ordinates had me to the left when actually I wanted to be right.
