It sounds like the cache needs replacing or archiving. Will check as soon as practical and possible.
I think the sign has been stolen to hang in some man cave somewhere. Obvious marks on the post of where the sign used to be but no sign of the cache
Out and about over the Easter weekend grabbing some caches as I head to Christchurch via the west coast. Thank you for placing all these wonderful caches out for me to find. Had fun looking in, under , around and behind to find them. Apologies for the cut and paste logs. Your caches made the trip a lot more interesting with some adventure thrown in. TFTC

A quick and easy find. The creek was a clear as gin, but was not willing to try it! Cheers
We are on an extented Waitangi Weekend cruising around the Coast. Today we headed to Greymouth under beautiful blue skies.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Heading to Granity with SJT_NZ and taking a 'cachers route' past some caches we were keen to take in, a quick find at GZ and all in good order. TFTC
A quick find with Tregearp whilst passing through. All in good order. Signed log and replaced as found - as is often the case with these ones, took a lot longer and more patience for the replacement of the log than the actual find. Thanks for the cache hazedurus.
Two days ago I came along to do these caches but I had a senior moment and forgot to load them into my GPS then. But now they are there.
And not a bottle of tonic in sight.
Cheers for the cache.

Finally it's time for a Christmas break and some time away from work. Time for Mrs KE and I to pack up our newly converted camping car and head out into the wilderness for a few nights. The West Coast looked inviting and there might even be time for some geocaching. If we can remember how to do that.
This road wasn't really on our way from Greymouth to Lake Kaniere but when I saw caches that had been placed by Nelson geocachers it seemed appropriate to go find them. We bypassed the first due to muggles and pushed on to hear. Gin is definitely not our kind of beverage unless Mrs KE is cleaning rings with it. A quick find on a hot day and off we headed to the next.
Thanks hazedarus for the cache.

Rode my bike up from rotomanu, hopped off at the bridge and lent the bike against a convenient sign post, checked tho GPS and bingo less than 1 metre. Easiest find today
No problem with the extraction, but what ever I tried, my pens were just not going to write!

Decided to attack the Know When to Hold 'Em PT on Nelson Creek Road from the wrong end so I had the caches on the drivers side of the car. Found this great little spot after having stopped for coffee in Moana.

The cache has had water problems no matter how many times it was bagged and containered to stay nice and dry. Hopefully that is now solved. Same coordinates but different placement. Size, description and hint have all been updated to reflect the change.
I wish! Passed a herd of cows on their way for milking. Somehow a loose sheep was there too and for quite a while it was acting like it was herding the cows - first heading them together at the front then at the side - hilarious. The new temporary log also soaked so i have removed it and the previous one, dried out the bag and put in another replacement. cross with myself now that I didn't go further up the road to pick up the lady. Cache was full water, logbook is unusable. put in temporary log, but doubt that it lasts. Needs some maintenance. Quick find, TFTC.
A detour on my way over to Rakaia.
The log was soaked and container full of water.
Dried it out a bit and left a scrap of paper for a log.
The creek is pumping today, has been a lot of rain.

Wow! what a lovely little creek, not something you normally attribute to such things but it did strike me as being such.

Quite amazing creek names in this area, I suppose they were all named after local happenings.
Thanks

Out on a (long) days caching trip across to the West Coast from Oamaru. Fortunately for us we left the rain behind us on the east coast and enjoyed a fine sunny coast day. This was one of our finds on the day. Many thanks to the CO's for your caches and the many interesting places that our trip took us to. TFTC
we just had to have a photo shoot at this cache, ( Gin Creek) Cache was a nice easy find. TFTC. Cheers Bo
If only this was really gin flowing past, as we have the tonic and lemons onboard the geocamper. drained the water out of the container but the logbook was dry TFTC.
Found it OPA! A pretty neat little posy, the creek was rawring with all the water going down it but it looked beutiful all the same.
