This cache hasn't been found it almost 2 years and numerous DNFs. This cache may have been muggled.
What a glorious winter day to be geocaching. Lovely spot but a DNF today.
Maybe the CO can please check as there have been numerous DNF's.

It was a long hard way to get there and come up empty handed .would have loved to have found Found mini cave but it was mt.will come back only when i know it has been found recently.
Found the ravine and a few mini-caves, particularly one very likely looking one for hiding a cache and in a similar spot to some photos. Unfortunately after a long search I couldn't find anything and headed back to the car. Great location anyway.
We wanted a good cache to do today on the way back from Broadmeadow today, and this one filled a D/T spot, so we gave it a go. After trying to come in from Rankin Park, we discovered we were still 800m away, so we drove all the way around past the hospital to a parking space 350 metres away. We walked all the way to the nearest point on the path to the cache, then climbed down the hill to the cache. It didn't take too long, which was good because there were lots of mosquitoes. TFTC!
Well I got there! Not sure it was the intended route, but oh well. Fair few mosquitoes there today.
What a jackpot cache. We definitely came the hard way with lots of bush bashing, even discovering a wombat burrow. Worth it !
Waiting for Geowife to have her OP and no better time to stroll in the beautiful area that surrounds the JHH to find a Cache
thanks for bringing me to this beautiful spot to relieve a little stress of waiting
a fav from me

July school holidays have arrived and what better way to start them off, then with geo caching, this was our second stop for the day and as usual we went in the wrong way bush bashing for around the 270m and as usual we found the right track out, the geo kids always love finding the ammo tins, left a TB, TFTC
We found this one really easy pretty much trekked straight into it. Took all the right paths for once parking was a hassle though. Anyway tftc
After an epic bush bash I finally reached the GZ and realised I had definitely approached this one from the wrong direction.
Hint: do not try and reach this cache from the 'gully' between hospital carparks 4 and 5 (SW), approach from the path to the SE.
Amazing location and awesome cache!
SL. TNLN. TFTC!

At last I have found 3 terrain 4's. Nice place for a geocache glad it had a string on it because I'm not going in to get the cache.TFTC.
We had avoided this one for some time based on some previous logs regarding the terrain, and seeing the terrain from the north side whilst finding a mystery earlier this year. Today we approached from the south, and made our way into the ravine with no major troubles, just had to help my 6 yo son with a couple of larger boulders....
Thanks for tha cache cccritter.....
Thanks for tha cache cccritter.....
Found it finally! This definitely has tricky terrain, and going back up was harder than coming down! Not much water around today. Couldn't reach the string, so had to use a stick to retrieve the geocache. Somewhere in the process I scraped up my leg and started bleeding everywhere! I had plenty of fun! Left a geocaching sticker. Cache in good condition. TFTC
Came to the creek bed from a trail about 50m upstream where I have seen a small waterfall before. Not today with little rain recently. Some fun rock-hopping with miss 11 and the pooch and a look in a likely place yielded the cache. Retrieved TB. Great spot, thanks cccritter for another good one.
Decided to start of from JHH, bushed bashed my way to the GZ. Loved the fun facts.

Check out this bike route. True story it is ten times better than the roads at my house. We get to the point of leaving the track when a school excursion went past so we walked up the bike path a bit further until they were well gone, came back and went bush. By the cache name we knew we were going down. It turns out it was not as bad as I had first expected. Found the cache nice and dry. Thanks for the experience.
I walked here from the canary cache (bush-bashed really) Climbed up the the rocky ravine following the GPS, looked for about half an hour, checked the GPS 40 meters past the GZ went back down and found the excellent Cache well hidden and dry. TFTC My car was near the canary , but found an easier way back.
This was another good cache here in Jesmond bush. I think we may have chosen the most difficult route to get to at as we had to bush bash through thick scrub and many thorns. It was all in the fun of it finding it though. A great spot which felt very isolated. Took an easier way back out. TFTC!
Just adding a note today, to be able to rightly 'visit' the cache with the TB (Bundy Bear), I found inside it! Poor old Bundy mistakenly thought he was still 50km further up the Hunter, and after almost a year he must have been VERY angry. And given his taste for rum, it's probably lucky he didn't pick a fight with me as soon as I opened the cache.
This type of cache is exactly why I got into caching. What fun climbing up and down the creek. My phone put GZ about 10m up the hill to the west, but hint steered me back to the creek (thanks!). TNLN TFTC FP from me for making me late for work ha ha
Pen in cache was out of ink. I left mine there to keep the cache fully operational. l
Plenty of swag in there too - get in there kids!

TFTC is was awesome finding it after the first did not find. I took a different path this time much better
TFTC!! What a beautiful spot!!! So quiet & peaceful. The only noise around were the birds chirping. Took the wrong path we think as we ended up bush bashing through heavy greenery. Will find a better way out. Thank you =)
Awesome cache, made my morning walk feel a little more adventurous and it is a pretty creep. It has no water in it now. Luckily found geocache in the first place I looked. Thanks for the cache!
Found at 10:35 AM GAFF3. Didn't realise that I had to bush bash to get to this one, but then it is a T4.0! That Lawyer vine is treacherous and had me tangled up a few times - wish I had my machete with me [:(!] I then spent some time searching amongst the rocks as I was concentrating on the side of the creek that my GPSr map showed the cache was located on. However after a long time of exhausting - up and down searching, I decided to look at the other side of the creek and there it was - in the first spot I looked
Thanks cccritter.
Took TB.

Found today in excellent weather conditions.
I had meant to find you two days ago when I was in the area, but unfortunately my gamble of bringing a gps with dying batteries turned sour and I was unable to pursue you until today!
This was also a great excuse to bust out my new gumhat, and also my near new gators.
Thanks for the beautiful location.
Ps: taking the 'Disowned' Tomato, and leaving behind TUSWECA, who has been journeying around with ne for a little while.

A quick find after bush bashing down from the path, with TeamSenz along for support.
Glad there was not any water flowing down it would have made it a bit more interesting.

After finding lilly's cache I headed straight up the hill through the bush don't know if that was the smartest way to go but I got there in the end.
Lucky there had not been any rain this would be s lot harder if the creek was flowing. The cache was found easily after getting to where the gpsr was sending me.
After signing log and replacing cache I noticed a tick crawling up my leg then another on my backpack so I got out of there quick.

Orrsome sent me off on one "track" saying this was the turn off.
went down the hill.
found lots of lantana.
went downstream even further.
crossed the creek.
headed back up.
found cache.
lid was not on properly,
and was in plain sight.
but contents were still dry.
left dino.
put container in further then was found.
blue rope still easily visible.
went straight up and out
showed Orrsome86 this way in.
he found in 1/3 of the time.
Very fun!

Found for the second time, very slippery after the rain. Fell down the slope for the second time lol. Left sheriff sunnies
After getting donut we decided to get the last cache in this bush, the only problem with this cache is the annoying mossies! Donated a lot of blood for this cache! Thanks guys.
On a mission today. Need 5 more today to make 1000 in our first year.
This involved a short walk, after picking up canary cache, to the geotrail and once at GZ cache was quickly found although rather than emulate a lizard to retrieve it, Mr C used a stick instead. TNLNSL. Thanks cccritter7

Bring an adventurous spirit for this one, good fun to walk amd explore this one and many other local caches
Wondered how to get this but after wandering around the maze of tracks we ended up quite close. Glad there hadn't been a whole heap of rain. TFTC cccritter.
Nice cache. Awesome location. I definitely didn't take the best route to this one, ended up having to traverse across the hill and came out about 30m below the cache. Got there in the end. TNLNSL. TFTC
Our 6042nd overall find.
Today was a lovely day for caching and this one was found today just as the sun was sinking in the sky. I took the scramble down from above this one and made the find without issue. It was then a bit of a climb back out to get back to the track and the car. Nice size container!
Thanks cccritter7 for the cache.

0810 GAFF3 What a nice way to start the Fathers Day morning. I'd come down from Taree to stay over with the older son in Newcastle, and had thought of night caching and grabbing this one, but took 'Frosty' out on a few easier caches at night instead. He was still asleep, so I headed off into the nearby bush.
Got to about 90m on a track that you could easily cycle on, then aimed off into the bush following some 'animal' tracks (or geotrails). A bit tricky getting down but not too bad. A short look around and found the 'loot'. Well protected.
Left: a #6 Search DVD and GeoLog TB. (Think I took a stretchy arm band - and geocoin "hours have gone")
Through: Coins – Krtik’s 250, 3Bros, Lighthouses, Bridges, B2B, Baa, Neigh and Oink, Bear Bait TB, and SummerLovin521 TB, and trackable shirt.

Was saving this one for a rainy day but I happened to be trekking past it on the wild goose chase for gd's red herring in "It's All About the Numbers 3" so a slight detour and bingo! TFTC cccritter7!!
Reperio at 1300.
With today being a warm sunny day, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go for a walk, and as this was the nearest one to home, this provided the perfect cache to head out for. Had a fair idea of the best trails to take, and it wasn't long before I was at the rocky ravine. Carefully followed it down amongst the big rocks and mud until at GZ, and soon spotted where the cache was lurking. This is a nice little spot, and I enjoyed the walk here.

This began easily, but soon deteriorated into a trek. We had done some research online as to the best way to get to GZ, but the tracks on the maps weren't there, or not where we thought, or we just plain made a mess of it!!
Anyway, after battling uphill and not finding a side track, we went back down and tried to bush-bash following along the stream, but that became too difficult also.
Bush-bashed back up hill to the main path, and followed along that until we were as close as possible to GZ, and then just went bush again, down hill towards GZ.
Stuggled through high ferns and rocks and ledges and finally reached the bottom.
Cache was found quickly and easily, as did the mosquitoes me!!!
Took TB Star, left GC Hours have gone.
Just upstream, I noticed a bit of a track, which went straight back up, relatively easy to follow and negotiate, which brought me back to the main track about 30m away from where I had entered the scrub.
Why is the return journey always easier than the way in????
I like this cache because it is not just a run-of-the-mill stroll and search. A bit of effort is needed to get there.

what a nice spot. Found the hidden pathway to GZ with Djant and quickly came across TezzaB after the introductions where complete and TezzaB was again trudging back up the hill it was back to the task at hand. a quick search around GZ and the cache was in hand. took TB and Left a cd (found near another cache a few weeks ago NOT my type of music) and it was our turn to start the hike back up the hill. traveling down to the car found an eclipse tin in a tree hole had a look for nearby cache and nothing showed curiosity got the better and had to look it seems to be a cache with log but nothing else so put back and will have to keep an eye out for this one to show up (if its a cache) Thanks cccritter7 for a fun cache.
Saw this one when we at Belmont and decided to try for a FTF only to be beaten by danwashere. Great little spot
FTF!
I had only just washed the mud of my mt bike when this cache was listed in the same area that I went riding yesterday.
Hoping that MV was still recovering from his midnight FTF from a couple of nights ago I headed of as fast as my weary legs could propel me.
I was very familiar with this area as I had previously got one of cccitters old caches nearby.
Thought I would take the dry road to the cache and ended up 50m past GZ. Scrambled my way back up the ravine to GZ and quickly found the cache. Great to see a cache with some great booty inside.
This would be a great little area to sit and spend some time if it wasnt so wet after months of continuous drizzle.
On the way out had a nice little sit down at a hidden park seat. Whilst relaxing I looked to the heavens saw what I thought was another of cccritters birdhouse caches - I think it must be associated with someones fauna research.
