We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Central Coast, staying at the Norah Head Holiday Park for a few nights, and plan on collecting some local caches during our short school holiday visit.
Looked for a while in every rocky hidey hole we could find, but failed to find a cache. Sadly it's a DNF for us on this one

**May the fourth be with you.**
Out and about for another day of caching and seeing/exploring the region.

Found 3:37 pm with AuroraEve. We were in the area right nearby to pick up our guinea pigs from a carer. So might as well look up caches nearby. Parked in the parking area and we wandered over to GZ. Coords are good and spotted our quarry very quickly. The log was wet but as it was waterproof paper just ended to dry it. Signed the log and returned cache to its hide. Apparently the lake water has been quite high lately and the water was washing across the footpath as we went under the bridge.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
On tour with KAT and had a couple of apprentice cachers with us - Good quick find TFTC
After a quick search found the log book wet and mould growing inside. Great view tftc
Easy find, spent my childhood on these lakes.
Many a great memory.
Thanks ALL7

At Toukley visiting the in-laws. This one was only 500 metres down the road. Took geowife and newly joined geocacher sister-in-law (rvp-20) to look for it. Compass had us searching high and low until geowife yells "Found it!". And there it was as the hint indicated. Made newbie search and quickly we all had CIH. Signed log. Took micro Mr Spock and left golf tee. TFTC. #106 for Brewmaker.
My first find with Brewmaker 20-09-15. Took Mr Spock! Thank you. TFTC. Left golf tee

Nothing but seaweed n lots of rubbish around the GZ. DNF. Thanks anyway to ALL7.

Don't know if I had cache blindness but the obvious hide provided a white pill bottle lid only which we left for the CO to check.
Found by Mary & David, at 1550. Have just seen and heard black cockatoos and now we can see a lot of pelicans huddled against the wind on the next point. Great views of the water and of the hills beyond. Had to brave some rain and the spray off the waves being whipped up by the cold wind in order to reach the cache, but then it was a simple enough find. Our thanks to ALL7.
We pulled in here on our way home after exploring the area. Nice little spot with a few fisherman intent on watching their lines. So while the guys created a diversion, I went in for the find. Nice cache, all in good condition. Thanks again
Another find for the afternoon to make four. Finally got here with no muggles around have tried before but it is a busy spot. TFTC.
Parked the car near by and we started our search, before too long the duties were done. TFTC
Care in all those casuarina needles as there is glass.
New Log intact still with only one name as I had no pencil so byo!

A quick trip up to Wadalba this morning gave me an excuse to grab a couple of caches on the way home.
I'd like to say this was a quick park'n'grab, but alas, it took around 20 minutes to find the cache (which I would call a micro rather than a small) and when I finally did, it was lying in the open about 15m from GZ and without a log sheet in it. Luckily, I had a spare sheet in the geo-car which I was happy to donate to the cause. The cache has been rehidden in line with the hint at GZ.
Thanks for the cache ALL7.

Lovely weather today, enjoyed drive around of your caches area closer with geomum, little longer searched everywhere to saw something shine to closer, finally found one, sign in as no trouble... Thanks
Got to say this was a micro to me. Seems a lot around here . Found quickly tho tftc
Found while heading south for a holiday cruising with the pprass's. We found it on the lower side of the pathway clearly dislodged from hightide so we replaced it on the higher side of the path, out of reach of the hightide mark. There were no rocks in place to hide it so we think it was in the wrong spot. Still matches the hint.
Thanks for the cache and cheers from Browngang

Found at 11:07 AM GAFF5 in the company of Browngang. A second visit after a disastrous Feb 2013 run of DNF's. This time we checked both sides of the path and lo and behold, the container was just lying there in the open
We replaced it right where the GPSr said was 0.00 distance, so we hope that is the correct location - a whitish coloured rock is now placed over the hole.
Thanks ALL7.

I have driven over this bridge countless times, but never stopped on this side before - needless to say I was surprised to find the lovely path winding it's way along the foreshore - so firstly, thanks for bringing me here (especially on another glorious morning). Spotted something out of place, so retrieved it, but was momentarily puzzled by its empty contents....not to worry as I located the correct container with little further effort. Onto the signing duties and the pen I had grabbed from the car failed me, so I returned to the car - only to realise I'd left the keys on the rocks....back to GZ to collect the keys, back to the car to collect a pencil...and FINALLY, I was on my way. Thanks for another great lakeside hide ALL7
First today, for you Mom? Happy Mother's Day, God bless you n grand you good health. Tftc n bring my Mom here in the beautiful Gorokan Lake's view
Came here with my son and 2 of his mates ('TJ' and 'HutchHowie') but it was me who ended up doing the slightly more thorough search and finding the cache. Signed log and added an 'Xtreme bean' (not that there is much room in the cache).
At this end of the bridge there is a really derelict construction (about 30m north of GZ) which people have walked out onto to fish. It's weird because the satellite picture shows what looks like a nicely constructed wharf. However what is there now I wasn't game to let the kids go out on.
Thanks again ALL7 for the cache and for sending us on another little adventure around the lovely Central Coast!

TFTC. Found with geo-miyay (geo-girl). She knew there was treasure around here somewhere. Watch out for broken glass nearby.

GeoWife is on fire today...!!! CIH in under two minutes. Don't know we missed it last time. Lack of near by muggles may of helped.

Had to pretend to be searching for insects when a man with a dog asked me what I was doing. TFTC.
A few muggle fisherman made widening the search zone difficult.
Not saying its gone but we had a pretty good look around and under the rocks...???
Will watch... TFTC

Really quick find with my geodaughter by torchlight! Fishermen sitting nearby so had to use stealth mode. SL / TFTC
My second attempt seekng others have found it since. Still took a lot of searching much to the amusement of my companions who had found it previously. Tftc all 7. Great view.

Found an appropriate parking spot from which to attack this cache. However, a lady muggle (from Westpac) was also parked here "wasting time" before her next meeting (?). I just went for a walk to find GZ & found that the cars were out of sight. This allowed me to have a good search around GZ. I soon had the CIH after widening my search area. Nice location with several sea birds drying their feathers nearby in the sun. SL TFTC

Took my wife on her first caching experience here. Didn't seem to enjoy it at first, but seemed to be a little excited once we found it. TFTC ALL7

Today visit and checked that cache were missing, so replace new cache and ready go.. thanks
DNF at 2:15:32 PM. Looked all over the bank and found a ladies purse with lots of credit cards in it, a clip lock bag, some rubbish, but no cache.
TFTC - nice location but need to use your gps carefully as there are many rocks around!
This was our 2nd cache find in the caching run & we found it at: 16:26.

Visited this one today with Liz and Bruce on a very mixed geocaching day. We were on a roll here again but that was about to change signficantly.
Having met up with Victorian cacher and friend Alansee we planned a big day out to do as many caches as possible. We started off ok but found some of the tricky hides too hard to find - this cache however was one we were able to find. We enjoyed the scenery and the opportunity to look around this part of the cental coast.
Thanks to ALL7.
Thanks to ALL7.
Nice easy one. Fishermen everywhere, even at 9:30! But they're pretty focused guys. TFTC!
Found this neat cache while i was up on the Central Coast for my nephews engagment party.
I remember the old bridge quite well, many times it was hard to pass over when a king tide & a storm was in town, the old bridge does make a great fishing spot now though.
Many thanks for the cool cache.............TNLNSL.

A quick find, whilst dodging school age muggles who should have been in school. Thanks ALL&.
What a fabulous evening for a little caching along the lakeside. A long time ago a friend owned the Toukley Van Park just up the road and coming here tonight brought back some fond memories.
A quick find after an uninterrupted search at 10pm.

1030. Found with Relish64 and Chalk It Up on our way up to Maitland for a wedding. We decided to make a night time assault on a few of the local caches. Found this one without too much trouble. Thanks ALL7 for the cache.
Reperio at 1555.
This was the last cache down south before having to head back to Newcastle, and as soon as I pulled up, I could see a muggle fisherman no more than 30m from GZ. Figured it was worth going over and scouting out the area in case the cache location could be identified and retrieved...and luckily for me...I spotted a likely spot and sat down next to it to stealthily sign the log. A nice little vantage point of the lake.
