Did try to find this one as it was quite close to your other hide. After a long search I read the previous logs and aborted. I feel if Jacko wasn't successful I sure wouldn't be.
I will be back though thanks stooy

Jacko83 and I made our way to Bendigo for a day's caching, and with the aim of targetting some of the higher DT caches this series was obviously on our list.
Unfortunately this was a DNF for us, despite us having a clear view of all the hiding spots around GZ.
TFTH, stooy (* P.S. edit: glad to see the cache has since been replaced*).

After dropping the wife and kids at the cinema I got to do some caching. This was my second one for the day lucky I have long arms I was able to hold on with one hand and grab with the other. A nice little hide. TFTC
Headed up to Bendigo today to visit the father in law and with such nice weather we done some caching as well. This one was a bit harder to spot and needed a tool from the car to help retrieve,

A quick few stops before Dad and I leave town today.
Third find, and it was on the ground. Looking a bit worse for wear but contents still in ok condition. SL and replaced in sheltered spot.

In town for our annual reunion and with the trusty Max Williams by my side we headed off for our traditional wander. Max isn't a cacher but likes to walk and we chat about old times - as we're both getting older.
Thanks for the cache stooy and the stretch.

I didn't have too much trouble with this one, though I believe there may have been a bit of cache creep to make it easier. Also the cache lid is gone, though someone has rather intelligently used a stone to act as the lid to stop the possibility of the log coming out.
Thanks for the whole series stooy. I haven't finished them yet but I am enjoying the differences in difficulty on the different spots I have been.

Nice little physical challenge. Great spot, unfortunately it looks like someone has been chewing on the container, and the magnet is gone.
Another find to which I was a spectator, but I was heavily involved in the retrieval of harder ones earlier in the day so I deserved to rest my twisted wrist. =b TFTC
SanguineDragonflye and I went on a walk through Bendigo in what is fast becoming a yearly ritual. Didn't expect this one to be as easy as it was, but a win is a win and I nabbed it using my agility alone. Again, had a little fun with the replacement - the heat really does give me infinite energy Cheers!
Lucky to nail the landing. Possibly would have gotten wet if there was any water around! tftc
Reperio at 1835.
Arrived in town today after traveling from Shepparton, and one of the priorities was to complete this series. This was the final cache in this series to retrieve today, as I would soon find myself laying in hospital with a torn pectoralis tendon...which would later required surgery to repair. Having simply jumped up to retrieve this one, I managed to sign the log and replace by keeping two feet on the ground. Another great spot.
Gratias stooy.

This cache was the easiest of the series for this cacher to spot, then retrieve. Thanks stooy!
We are behind logging caches after misplacing our caching book.
Out today knocking over a few hides in the local area.
Thanks for the hide,

Out and about for the first time in a while with my caching mate SedgwickDave. We had 2 main aims today, to find the Centroid Challenge cache as well as the cache that qualifies us and secondly attend the 2 Months to MEGA event in Bendigo which by chance was close to both of our centroids. It was promising to be a Beautiful day, so we left nice and early to fit in as much as we could in the day.
After showing out faces at the BBQ event for a while, Dave, BernieH and I headed out to try and complete the Above and Beyond series.
we started with this one, a fairly quick beginning, we soon had our name in the logs.

14th / 15th November 2015 - GC5HCJ8 - Casey Fields - Melbourne Victoria
Out for a country drive today heading for an event in Bendigo as a lead up to The Melbourne Event Mega at Casey Fields in November. Mainly chasing a couple of old time caches placed back in 2001 and 2002 and couple of specific D/T combos. I headed up through Faraday and Maldon to Bendigo and returned home through Redesdale, Mia Mia, Tooborac and Puckapunyal. Found some great caches, some on my own, some with friends, all in all, a great day.
Out to do this series with ahomburg and sedgwickdave, had the job down pat by the end, park, ladders out or down off the roof, into the channel, up the bridge, blah, blah, blah.
Great series and had great fun.
Thanks for placing this cache stooy

After attending the "2 Months till the Melbourne Event" event myself Ahomburg & BernieH assembled to tackle this highly regarded series.
This was the first found and quickest found in the series. The challenge was more the getting back up to the road for this one.
Awesome team effort with the cache spotted by Ahomburg.

Firstly, apologies for the delayed logs.
Headed to Bendigo for the day with Sorceysal and Tessie the geodog for some quality caching.
I was able to scamper down here to make a quick find, so easy from below.

I think everyone involved was hanging out for today. This had been planned for weeks. Lets make a day of it in Bendigo was the suggestion [^] Puzzles were solved, coordinates put into GPSr's maps were printed, accommodation was booked. Finally it was here. theTritonz, DAB, wozzle68, ST37E, Mclookers, Glanville Girls and myself were off. We met in Creswick after breakfast was purchased on the road. What a brilliant day out it was. Lots of laughs.
This was the secondof the morning. We had prepared for it just in case. We were on a high after the first find. This was another difficult grab but we had in hand after a short time. Signed and replaced as found.
[blue]Thanks for this trad cache hide, stooy [^]
Log and container in good condition.

What a fantastic day of geocaching we had in Bendigo today. With an ensemble consisting of McLookers, Glanville Girls, Wozzle68, The_Tritonz, ST37E. Na'wal and yours truly, we had an absolute blast. With a heap of solved puzzles, it was time to do some collecting. It was a mixed bag of caches today. There were tree climbs, bridge climbs, hill climbs, traditionals, multis, a letterbox and even a few night caches to end the day !! [^] The standard of the hides was excellent and the scenery and architecture was fantastic. All of the CO's should be proud of their hides. I can't wait to return for some more caching !! TFTC stooy
Up in Bendigo today on a group assault with DAB, ST37E, Na'wal, Glanville Girls, Wozzle68 & McLookers with a set plan of DT caches in mind. ST37E made the grab here while we all looked on.
Thanks Stooy for the cache.

Found and easily retrieved with the help of a step-ladder. Log-sheet was fine. TFTC!

Today I made a trip to Bendigo to pick up some caches for my D/T grid as well as some challenge caches and the ones that crossed my path.
Before I went in for this one, I checked what I had in the boot of the car as to might help retrieve the cache and I did, it was also going to help if it the rain got any heavier, anyway I retrieved it the log was signed and the cache was replaced where it was found.
Thanks to stooy for placing this cache.

Went for a jog and returned along the creek bed, with the Above and Beyond series in the back of my mind. Failed to spot 2 and 3 in the series but managed Above and Beyond and Beyond and Above. Felt quite precarious getting them - fiendish! Found that the mini pen I'd put in my pocket was not in the mood for writing so have photographed each cache before replacing them in the hope that is sufficient. Happy to provide the pics! Will look for the others again now I have a better idea what I'm looking for... With a better pen this time...
It was good to have an urban challenge for my 800th find which took me above & beyond to grab this one.

Part of a large group of geofriends who all worked together to find this one....little did we know what the rest of the series had in store for us! thanks!
We had earmarked this series for our weekend trip to Bendigo. We did not know what to expect with this cache. We arrived at GZ, the geokids took the lower view, we used a mirror then Geodad was able to employ one of his contortionist moves to secure the cache. The log was signed and replaced. Thanks for the tricky hide stooy. Off to the next one in the series. Caching today with Glanville Girls, Tomstache, Beckster22, Motndarg, Rehfisch Clan, The Lookabouts, Storm_horse, and $doo.
We had earmarked this series some weeks ago to tackle on a Bendigo Run with McLookers, Motndarg, Beckster 22, Tomstache, Rehfisch Clan, Lookabouts, Stormhorse and $Doo. We quickly spotted this one and it was retrieved with a little acrobatics. We signed and then moved onto the next in the series. Thanks stooy.
McLookers, Motndarg, Beckster 22, Tomstache, Glanville Girls, Lookabouts, Stormhorse and $Doo adventure today was this series. After us all lying down on the bridge for this one. We had it signed and then moved onto the next one in the series. Thanks.
This series is very challenging, it was spotted quite fast, but then it was matter of retrieving it .We had a large group of caching friends. the cache was finally in hand.
Thank goodness I cache with very fit and courageous friends --- being an older Geo er , I had no hope of retrieving any of the caches in this series. My thanks to McLookers, Tomstache, beckster22, storm horse, $doo, Lookabouts and Rehfisch Clan for helping with these.
while stooy was out to doing some maintenance on this series i was invited along to find these caches, it was my job to navigate and then acquire the caches, with abit of luck and with a stick i managed to almost send it down stream was going to be just as problematic
In Bendigo on our way to the Oz Mega at Murray Bridge caching with Tassie Trekkers and this one was on our list. Mr TT and Mr W did the retrieving. Wow what a great series. TFTC. Deserves a favourite.
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we teamed up with whitewebbs caching our way to the Oz Mega. While spending a few days in Bendigo this was one of the caches we targeted. The male half of our teams were elected to retrieve this cache. A highlight of our day and one we will remember. Thanks stooy for the challenge.
