Good evening.
A big thank you from Liz (Bohrap) and myself for all your positive feedback. It makes it all worthwhile and we really enjoyed the great company and geocaching stories.
If you haven't already logged your attendance, please ensure that this is completed ASAP so that I can archive the event in the next few days. I believe there are only 2 more attendees to do so.
Also, there is one trackable (Addie's Phlipper) still sitting in the event cache that will need to be retrieved by the cacher that uplifted it. It is the one that is looking for Nemo.
Catch you on 10-11-12.
Keep on caching!!!
Regards
Chris (spudpn)

A big WangaVegas thank you to Spudpn & Bohrap. We loved the event and finally catching up with the owners and chasers of local and wider caches.
Apologies for the late log. Mrs RiffRaff came a gutsa at Fantail Forest and got slamdunked on the steps off the swingbridge. Unfortunately, as she is on blood-thinning medication any accident can potentially be quite serious for her. Fortunately, her......get this......handbag...saved her. LOL. She has the backpack type and being full of all of the accoutrements of a womans handbag (men, don't ask!), it meant that she didn't make contact with any part of the bridge, and looks like she's only sustained some muscle strains etc. And didn't break a nail. Wohoo! We did however manage to finish 14 for the weekend.
We also have Addie's Phlipper which we will see to as well.
Thanks for the stories and the laughs. Cheers

Happy birthday Geocaching! Nice little event, great to cache up with the faces behind the names, especially the two I had been stalking all day - 3 of the 4 caches I did this morning had been visited by others earlier on the same day.
A very enjoyable event, many thanks to spudpn & Bohrap for organising. Great to meet some new faces of those similarly obsessed, and catch up with what everyone is up to.
this event marks 900 finds for me on International geocaching day. Perfect way to celebrate. Thanks heaps to the organisers and great to put some faces to the names (: Skindo and nice to catch up with past friends. Happy caching everyone and we will see each other again.
It was really good to meet up with all of you today.
There is nothing like a drink, good food and some great geocaching stories on a damp Saturday afternoon. It was also good to put faces to GC names at last. We will have to do more of these events in future.
On behalf of Bohrap & I, thank you everyone for helping make it a success.
Looking forward to The incremental event (10-11-12).
Keep on caching!!!

Thanks for organising this event. Enjoyed meeting people and learning a few tips to find caches.
Hello Geocashers.
Lovely to hear of this event in a timely way. I certainly will attend. I havent been active for a long time. Alas this isn't the first event in the Manawatu as I held one in the Ashhurst domain. We had an accuracy test there, for us to test our hardware. Very informative.
There was a limited number of social members then, so we went to Wellington for an event down there, and we joined KiwiCashing.
Just found the event. Check out "Birds Eye Veiw (Manawatu)"1pm on Sunday 29 October 2006.
Hope lots attend & I will see you then.
Chris.

Will now be able to make it to this event.
TuisReturn will be with me - we were going to go to New Plymouth hunting plastic, but changed plans to be in the area for this get together.
Should have 10 or more trackables available for discovery and pathtags to swap if anyone wants.

I should be attending with my partner. Also have a TB at present that might make an appearance.
Wow....only a week to go before G-Day!!!
If you wish to swap some TB's and GeoCoins please "Drop Off" the item here before next Saturday.

Good evening Geocachers.
Only 9 days until the event, so please log your attendance and come along and put a face to the logs.
Watch the Tribune this Sunday for an article on Geocaching. I have been interviewed and they are taking a photo tomorrow. The purpose of the article is to increase awareness of the hobby and encourage new Geocachers to give it a go.
This will hopefully increase the depth of the Manawatu Geocaching community. The more Geocachers out there the better.
Lets make this a winning day.

Have planned a caching trip from WangaVegas and house-sitting in Feilding so can't pass up an opportunity to puts faces to familiar names.
Great to have our first geocaching event in the Manawatu - unfortunately I will be out of town and unable to attend. Best wishes for an enjoyable day.
I will be there, infact I have to be there, I am the Bar and Venue Manager of this place and have to open up the place for the day.
I'm hoping to be there (possibly with a few "tag-alongs"), but I can't confirm just yet.
will try to attend.
Won't know until closer to the day, depending on if alls well with the farm etc. (calving time!!!)
