I was on the Sunshine Coast with Captain Terror grabbing a few caches that we hadn't already found. We had spent the previous night examining the map and thought it was likely that this one was still in action. We parked the car and headed over to GZ. The Captain spotted the container as he approached and suddenly stopped. He was looking around for something. When I queried his sudden confusion he said that he could smell a stink beetle or similar smell. It was amusing watching him try to find this beetle that had affected him. We signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the cache X-Trailers
It is a bit sad this cache got archived due to a simple wet logbook. No matter, it seems it is still there to be found, and today, I found it with a new, dry logbook inside. In better condition than many active caches I find.
Net88 and I were planning a trip up here and I noted this number might still be in place - having been found recently and such. So getting around a little bit, being guided by the SatNav where my GPSr maps had failed, we came to a good looking parking spot for this icon. The area seemed to be deserted and a nice walk across the lawn towards the water was had.
On the approach I spotted the container and we had our way with it, adding our names to the logbook, right below the names of the previous online loggers. I had an issue about this point with stink beetle that only seemed to affect me. Still not sure where he was or if my nose was just playing tricks on me. We replaced the container back all as found and hopefully, it still gets some loving visits. TFTC The X-Trailers

TFTC out with 4travelling buds and mickezza looking for our 21 day cache. Sorry that this one has been archived, but good find.TNLNSL
TFTC , sorry to see that this cache has been archived, but I had the co-ords in my GPS ages ago and went looking for it, and easily found. The log book was completely soaked and we have turned the plastic bag inside out and placed a new sheet of paper as a log. Also found by Hamish heroes and 4 travellingbuds as caching with them today as day 21 of 31 days of caching . TNLNSL . Took me ages to find the listing of this archived to log as found. Thanks The X-Trailers
TFTC , out for day 21 of 31 days of caching with mickezza and Hamish heroes. Kezza ( mickezza) had this one in her GPS for ages and we found easily. Must say that the log was soaked but we have placed a new sheet and dried the plastic bag , so should last a bit longer and maybe it can come out of the archived state. Still a good placement. TNLNSL. Thank you The X-trailers for the cache
Its a sad day when a cache has to be archived and seeing as it was also our first cache makes it even sadder
As others have said cache is soaked. Logbook cannot be removed from bag without damage. Photo taken. Can email if required. I've never seen an undercover bowls club like this. It was certainly getting a good workout while we were here. Our umbrella provided good protection from prying eyes. TFTC, The X-Trailers.
Found this one but upon opening the cache the long was wet and we were unable to log the logbook.TFTC
Sad to say that once again cache has got wet
As we are travelling till end of year we are having to disable this cache till we return and replace with a different style

Great spot but probably need to rethink the container or put in a small drainage hole as log and bag log is in is full of water and soaked.

Took a detour to find this while on our way home today. Unfortunately this cache is soaking wet and needs replacing. Have emailed CO.

found with the Parko's as part of the scout geocaching competition. Thanks for the cache.
5167. Over from New Zealand for a wedding in Brisbane last weekend. Had no luck or time to find caches then so tried this one in the early morning on our fourth day on the Sunshine Coast. A reasonably long walk from our apartment but an easy find between early riser exercising muggles. Then a nice walk back for breakfast! Thanks, Rodney and Iris.
Found it today when in the area. The actual container was a bit wet but someone had replace the log and it was dry in a snap lock.
Thanks to Green Team2 we can now give the all clear for others to locate this cache
We are currently interstate so unable to replace cache
Green Team 2 should be able to replace soon then we will put this one back on line

Hello The X-Trailers & thanks for the cache. Unfortunately, the lid of your container is gone & as it had been replaced with the open end up, it was full of water & the log unsignable. I left a few pieces of paper in a new dry ziplock container but this meant that the old log did not fit in. I found the container in the fork of the tree & replaced it there with the old log under it. It does need help. Regrds Jolen88
Parked as advised & thanks for that. Lovely park & what a fantastic bowling green. Cache in need of maintenance. TFTC
Quick and easy find with holster & thehairbear. Couldn't sign the log so left a slip of paper. Didn't have cache notes with me to see that it needed maintenance.

Nice area and a nicely camoed container. However, with no lid it's soaked and the log book smells nasty. Thanks The X-Trailers for placing this cache.

Hopefully it can be replaced shortly

Found near our hostel in Mooloolaba waiting for the bus nearby... Heavy rain made it quite hard to search without beeing dripping afterwards. But we made it.
Not sure about our wisdom of going caching in this area on the day the triathlon was on!?! but fortunately we were just out of the madness here and able to find a parking spot. Once at GZ Marco made a fairly quick find once he was standing at the right angle. Clever camo on this one. TNLNSL TFTC
went to this cache to start the chaching day took a bit to find but when i found it behind were these big bugs gave me a shock so i studied them for a while then logged the logbook and off to find the rest TFTC The X-Trailers
A clever hide but I just happened to look in the right direction and it caught my eye as we reached GZ. Now it's off to visit the Display Home nearby. TFTC
Glad to say cache back up and running once again
Happy New Year and great caching 2013

Geo hubby and I will be back on the coast this weekend so will call in and check on this cache and do maintenance
Found what remained of the cache - a waterlogged log in its baggie on the ground. Put it back in the most obvious spot, although I think this one needs maintenance.

Found on the great Eclipse Trip of 2012 with Freddo. Took the frog ages to cross the road.
A day of caching from Boyne Island to The Gap in Brisbane. A road trip with a chance to stretch the legs is a good thing.
Thanks to The X-Trailers and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Found on the 2012 Tour de Eclipse. Cache found in the last place we looked, which was as usual not the first place we looked. I left my swaps in the Pahero and I did not have anything of equal value in my pockets. Thanks for the cache guys, we love your work.

Greetings from New Zealand. Cache was on the ground so I missed out on the proper hunting experience. Great camo though. TFTC.
As the cache was on the ground when I found it, I replaced it in what I thought was its most likely home. It might pay to swing by and check it is placed correctly.
Out with ayepeacee and apc jnr, had an awesome time at the beach, then were on a mission to get this cache. Best ever ive found of this type of container! Ayepeacee made the find and didnt even realise it until he had it in his hand for a few seconds. You should have seen his face! It was fantastic. Thanks for an awesome cache. Luckily for us not many muggles around. ^^
Checked on this cache today

We had a wonderful day of caching in this vibrant and scenic part of Queensland. We loved the Sunshine Coast when we were here back in 2007 and it is still as lovely especially on a bright sunny day like today. We enjoyed finding this well hidden cache. Good camo. One thing about caching on the Sunshine coast, it is such a compact area there is no need to fill the fuel tank so often - nice.
Thanks to The X-Trailers.

Little fuddleys played on the playground while we grabbed the cache. Great hide in a lovely spot.

Found at 0921 with my sister and brother in law. The brother in law found this one. A quickish find. TFTC.
1220. With No bowling going on this afternoon the cameod cache was located after a short search of the area. X-Trailers - TFTC.
picked this sneaky little one up after a morning of hunting on a lovely winter day.
Nice one. I did feel a bit like a fish in a fish bowl but there didn't seem to be anyone around. Thanks X-Trailers.
We parked around the corner, and the kids were excited to find a park to play in! So off they went. The Mum in the family went off with JR (kid #1) to find the cache, while I kept an eye on the kids. "Found it!" she declared... but how to open it? No idea. We used the car keys, fiddled, strained... and then declared that it was a decoy. A little more looking, and the Mum found the camo-ed geocache... and this one was easy to open!
Was there meant to be a decoy? The bowlers didn't seem to be bothered in any way.
Navigated and found by the Mum in the family. TNLN.

They had a great time finding this....especially geo-daughter wh found it first....TFTC

The nearby park is as wet as and very boggy. While the rest of us were scrabbling about granddaughter says “Here it is.” Don’t you just hate that. Great hide.

Not sure how outer bag can be wet when this cache is in a tin with tight lid

1130hrs. After a nice stroll from the beach the better half grabbed this cache while I was still reading the notes. Moved off to sign log and then I returned it. The bowlers seemed to interested in their game. Was good to be out of the houde. TFTC.
The rain had stopped but the ground leading to this one was squelchy underfoot. I soon pulled up where my GPSr was indicating. With a couple of flashes with the torch, I soon found something suspcicious and had a cache in hand. An excellent bit of camo. No muggle bowlers out tonight. TFTC The X-Trailers
2nd to find. I wandered along to GZ following the GPS as you do and quickly found the cache. You have to be careful here as you are very visible to the bowlers and you hope that they are only paying attention to their game. TNLNSL TFTC Thanks The X - Trailers
Found @ 1445 hrs
On our way home the geoKids and I decided to grab a quick cache on the way.
We parked in the nearby street and made our way across the park past the bowlers to GZ. The area was nice and quiet with a few bowlers testing their accuracy [^]
We had a quick search around the GZ area and the kids came up empty handed, all the while I was standing back looking at the very cleaver camo hide . I guided GeoSon to venture a little further afield and he followed my instruction (for once) and very soon he had the cache in hand
We signed the log and replaced the cache back into it cleaver hidey spot.
Top effort The X-Trailers the co-ords were spot on and of cause the cache was nice and dry [:o)]

Well our folks will be impressed sis!
A cache in their honour.
A shame they can't retrieve it themselves.
My next trip to Qld can't come quick enough.
