On my way to Whyalla to celebrate a special friends birthday and find a few caches along the way. This is my first find on my journey.A quick easy one.TFTC Tk2Keep smiling
Last leg of our Lameroo adventure. Cemetery caches are one of my favourites. You can learn so much about the surrounding area.
Nice easy trailer parking. We had cache retrieved quickly and signed. We then spent a solid half hour visiting the residents and pondering some of the tragedys we could see. TFTC!
Quick find here today on my way past, cache was easily found and is all goodWith a few days off I headed over to the northern Eyre peninsula for a 2 night stay in Whyalla, my main aim for the few days was the FITG and the FTF trail plus finding a few caches here and there along the way. Just under 300 caches found for the trip. Thanks for the cache
A few days in Port Pirie with the muggle Mrs exploring the town and seeking out whatever hides I can.
All caches were is good condition unless stated otherwise.
Whilst the muggle Mrs looked around the headstones, Mr Adder arrived at GZ to make the find sign and return.

After wandering around W.A. for the last 3 months caravanning, caching and hunting wildflowers, we are slowly making our way home to Adelaide. Always stay here at Laurie Park and go into Pirie to get the Pickled Seafood. Too windy to travel so decided to cache instead. T.F.T.C.
Woke up to a chilly morning - hoping it’s going to warm up though. Another day exploring Port Pirie and surrounds with iluvtrekking. Beautifully kept cemetery. Love the gates. Thanks Tk2
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.
A quick find here, used a stick to make sure nothing dodgy was hiding inside.
Signed and replaced, thank you!

Day 3 of my little adventure. Finally time to get out and explore again. Today had me travelling from Tanunda to Arno Bay. A long day on the road, loved it.

Found on a trip to Crystal Brook and Port Pirie with Team Waldron for a few days. It rained steadily for the morning but gradually eased by mid afternoon. The aim for the weekend was to find as many caches as possible in the area which we accomplished with damp clothes, soggy shoes and a muddy car. Thanks for the cache Tk2!
Found after after short search and getting a little tyred, soon had cache in hand. TFTC. Left a pathtag for next finder.
earthlight wanted a drive to Kadina for some geocaching and to place an adv lab there[^] and I sure wasn't saying no
We had a big day starting about 9am I dropped earthlight back at her home about midnight[|)][xx(][|)]
Believe it or not though, we never got to Kadina Port Wakefield got an adv lab instead[^]
On our way home, we had AMAZING fish and chips for tea in Port Pirie at the 'Church of Fish and Chips' run by Spirou Seafood and Salad[:X][^][:X][:X][^][:X] Delicious![:X][^][:X] You know the old 'Port Wakefield for a hamburger' drive[?] I think it's just become a 'Port Pirie for fish and chips drive'[^][^]
Once earthlight was home, Rex and I went to spend another hour or two at Hunting Ryan[?][^]
My total was 34 cache finds and only 2 DNFs so I was happy[^]
Some awesome sights seen[^], great back roads travelled (some more slippery than others especially after rain showers passed overhead) and Rex had a ball running some roads and chasing vermin out of cemeteries[^]
We saw lots of 'old schools or sites'[^], entered tiny townships and learned lots of history[^]
It was great to be out in the country and finding caches with good company[^] and as always, geocaches showed us things we never would have seen otherwise[^][:X][^]
Thank you to all of the CO's who gave us a reason to be out and about[^][:X][^]

Hi there Tk2. This cache was found on a day out caching and touring about Port Pirie. The container and log are in good condition - SL. Thanks to Tk2 for this cache - our find # 6217.
On the way to Perth, detour - wander, search, spotted and signed the log as EV. Thanks TK2
Stopped by and visited near the eternally sleepy people. It’s blowing a gale today, so I’m glad it was a quick find.
Thanks for the cache Tk2.

Was travelling past for work and needed a driving break and saw this one on the map was not too far from the main road. So made the small detour into the area. Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ and quickly located the cache. Extracted log signed and replaced. First find for this year.

Hi there Tk2.
We found your cache **"Warnertown Cemetery"** at 11:28:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15966).
We cached around Gladstone, Port Pirie and Napperby today. On our trek we found a variety of container types. & ended up finding 32 caches with 0 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

#6419 - 12:05; Day 6 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune and now albida33 who joined us this morning for the rest of the trip, so most logs were signed S.A.L. as a result. After a second night in Burra, we were now caching our way to Port Augusta via Spalding, Gulnare, Crystal Brook, Port Pirie, Napperby, Weeroona Island and Baroota. One of many quaint cemeteries we have visited so far this trip. I expect there will be many more! TFTC Tk2
Alice trip 2017. Day 4. Today was the day I caught up with Sol de Lune and LuckL10n in Burra. We joined forces for the journey to Alice Springs. Today was a short trip to Pt Augusta collecting plenty of caches along the way.

On the road to the Alice Springs Mega with LuckyL10n and Albida33. We headed through Burra and Port Pirie before arriving in Port Augusta for the trek up the highway. Collected a good number of caches and all were found with no issues and the logs were soon signed. (Some logs were signed as S.A.L. to save space.)
Thanks for the cache and fun in getting to it and finding it.

Got this one on our pilgimage to Alice Springs - it was a good opportunity to get out of the car for a while. Thanks to Tk2 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Small detour to get this one, but figured it was worth it. This one was promptly found by Lea. Tftc

Have booked into the caravan park for a couple of nights. We sure need it with the outside temperature of 45degrees.
After arriving we did some caching in the town area before returning to the caravan for lunch.
In the afternoon we headed north to Weeroona & then home by Scenic Drive. A great tikik tour of the area.

As i make my way from Adelaide to Wudinna for work tomorrow i grab a few caches along the way to help break the drive, love the cemetery hides. TFTC
Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks Tk2 for placing this cache.

Day two of the Nullarbor experience was here. I again joined the convoy of Alansee, Maccamob and Mica Paramedic for another day of fun, heading for Port Augusta, then I would do my own thing for a few days before joining them again in Esperance. Today, we would drive from Murray Bridge, to Port Augusta via Gawler, just over 380km of driving. We would log our finds as MAAM, AMMA, AMAM or some other combination of those 4 letters.
A quick stop for us to check out this cemetary. Nothing too difficult here. Lots of big bull ants tho.

Found by Mary & David, in convoy with micaparamedic, Alansee and ahomburg (logged as MAAM), at 1605. Mary has always been fascinated by cemeteries and that earns you a favourite point. The art of the stonemason, the symbolism and the message in every carving, the social history and Australiana tick every box. Our thanks to Tk2.
Nearly missed this one as did not have on our list to do
Checked phone and this one popped up so a quick detour and we headed to locate the cache
If it had not been in a cemetery probably would have driven passed
Cemetery's are my second favourite place to look for a cache
Cache was found in rather obvious spot
Cache all good
Like the recycle style of the cache

The Mot was spending time looking at the headstones when a huge snake slithered pass her . At that stage I was searching for the cache, immediately I grabbed a large stick and turned over every blade of grass very gingerly. After some 10567 blades of grass I eventually found the cache. The snake and the cache certainly lit up my day! A favourite is well earned.
You lit up our life for our first find of the day.

I lived the first 23 years of my life near here

of burrows and sand hills and really untidy.
