Out grabbing some caches but I think our caching day is going to be cut short due to rain. We spotted the hiding spot as we approached and soon had our names added to your log. Slowly but surely we are knocking off the periodic table. We returned your cache back to its place of hiding. TFTC ChrisRG.
Out with axell33 for a few caches but the rain hasnt really given us the time needed, so just a couple for us. We found this one after the short walk to gz. The freeway was in full swing and so unbelievably noisy! With log signed and cache returned we headed home. Always happy to put a smiley on another, seemingly endless, periodic table! Thanks ChrisRG.
Out for an afternoon cycle after work. I had planned to ride my usual loop around Bibra Lake, but ended up riding down to Cockburn Central and back, a nice little 15-20km bike ride. Had the breeze against me for parts of the ride down and back, but it wasnt too bad. Found a few caches that have been bugging my map for a little too long along the way. Quick find here. Signed and replaced as found. Cheers ChrisRG!
Trobat! Encontrado!Found It during my way along this serie of traditional caches. I tried to do much as possible and sign them all. This was one of them:The container was out of the hide. All good now. Thanks you so much!
Found it behind the fence couple of meter away of coordinates, I’ve placed it back according description! TFTC
Decided to start this series today as it was nice and cool weather. I kept missing GS for this one, but once I found it, it was an easy find. TFTC.
Was a bit worried it may have been ruined in the freeway upgrades, but obviously a more recent addition than the path
Found it. TFTC ChrisRG. Happy to make a quick find here today, replaced as found.
We were a little concerned when the map showed the cache closer to the park we’d just been walking through that we may have bypassed this one.
Our concerns were unwarranted as when we got towards GZ a SPOR was spotted and the cache in hand soon after.

A quick check of the map this afternoon had SirFancy and I deciding to head up South Lake way tonight to try our luck for some finds around the place.
The walk along the freeway to get some Periodic Table caches proved a little harder to access than we first envisioned but we made our way to the path eventually.
Once finished along the freeway we picked and chose some challenges and puzzles before turning for home.
Pleased with the night out that netted us 13 finds and 0 DNF’s.

Thanks ChrisRG for placing PT 25 Manganese for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 20:39 on 30/11/21.
This is find number 3558 for me.

Road still under repair. Estimated time to finish on the notice board is early 2020
No change. GZ is fenced off due to on-going construction; and therefore unavailable to any new cache even if this one were to be archived. Note we are keeping an eye on this and other disabled caches along the freeway cycle path, with aim to replace & re-enable as soon as is practical.
Road works are still being carried out and the cycle path is still closed. The completion date at this stage is late 2019
###UPDATE###

*Construction of the northern PSP has commenced between Bolderwood Reserve and Farrington Road and is scheduled for completion in June 2019. Construction on the southern section between Russell Road and Bolderwood Reserve will start on the 10 December 2018 and is expected to take 12 months to complete.*

This cache is being disabled until December 2018 because from 12 November 2018, the second phase of a series of cyclist detours will commence to allow the construction of the Kwinana Freeway Northbound Widening project between Russell Road and Farrington Road. Upon completion, the project will deliver extra northbound lanes, noise walls, and upgrades to the Principal Shared Path along the western side of this section of Freeway.
Afyer not finding it I was climbing back other the wall when I spotted another nook... There it was.

Logging this real late as baby brain is really taking over.
Out with Thro60clan to collect a bunch of caches.
Doesn’t look like the weather will let up tonight... Ah well to press on or concede defeat.... Convinced Lonewolf to scale the fence as i couldn’t due to being pregnant and carrying a baby. (Such an old woman) She quickly made the find though. Tftc

Out on a cold wet night with thronsy.4 collecting some smilies along the P table.
We were really pushing it by now and have almost conceded that we will have to back track instead of finish the section

We have made it our mission to complete the current souvenir challenge, so today decided to make a long walk up the freeway to collect as many of these caches in this series as possible. Nice quick find, log signed and cache replaced as found. Find #11 of our day. TFTC
Out and about with Neva2old to continue on the periodical table as well as others close by, another productive day today and smilies were added TFTC
Met up here with Parkacruz after I had finished of a series by Granett that was nearby. Had to do a little car shuffling so we could have one at the start and one at the end of todays caching, happy to say that we managed the periodic series and few others close by with no dnf's. So another productive day. tftc
What a mission. GZ seemed bare but after reading a log I know what was required. I decided to dump the bike and head in from the south. Bad decision. As I ducked and weaved the Police chopper flew over. I was sus enough for them to be after me but they had something more interesting to do. After crawling, falling, getting wet and spider webbed. I was again at GZ and soon spotted it. TFTC.
GeoDaughter found this cache with another lizard in situ! Top of lid is missing on this one.

Thought we'd take advantage of the nice autumn day today and make a start on this series. We had to watch out for packs of older cyclists in yellow jerseys, some of who were a bit rude! We also found that most of our DNF's were located in areas where Muggles tend to walk the path. It was a good day out which started out with us riding from our home to Warnbro Station and getting off at Bull Creek where we rode to Mt Henry Bridge to start from the beginning. We then rode to Cockburn Central collecting finds along the way and decided to stop here as the GeoKids were a combination of hangry and tired. Had something to eat (at 4pm!) and jumped on the train back to Warnbro Station. Our caching ride took us 4 hours. We had 29 and 7 DNF . We will endeavour tackle the next part once the the kids can be convinced to go out again LOL! Thank you for the series!

See Hydrogen (1) - Periodic Table - for main log.
After searching fruitlessly for a few minutes. It occurred to me that I might have to do a bit of climbing. I checked the terrain rating and off I went. Before jumping down I did wonder if I would be able to get back up. In the event, after a quick find, I was able to use the cache hiding place as a foothold so it was easy on the way back. The lid is broken but but the logsheet is dry. TFTC

Decided to get energetic today and get some smileys on the infamous Periodic Table Caches! Headed out early with Reborn995 and began a four hour walk along the Highway finding caches left right and center with only a couple of unfortunate DNF’s along the way! We had managed to find our 600th Cache during the adventure too, which was awesome! All in all it was a great day with perfect weather and lots of smileys!!! Thanks For The Caches!!!

Another bike ride from cache to cache. The series is nearly complete. Just missing a couple of dnf.tftc.
Found after a short search. I'm sure I gave some motorists a laugh on this one - I may even appear online! TFTC.
Out with geogypsys for another great day of caching. Must have planned this well, coming up from Busselton to do these this weekend - the coolest weekend for a while.

Thank you! Decided to start the Periodic Table series today, and ended up riding from Canning Bridge station to Cockburn station. This one was a little trickier than the others so far. I soon decided where to look, but it took a bit of creative thinking to figure out how to do it. Luckily I had my bicycle to help me out.
Today it is not too hot, so we are able to ride with the bicycle along the Highway. We can nearly find all the caches in few minutes.
Thank you for all caches say Moorhelmi

Giving this a favourite as I got to use my ninja skills to retrieve. A bit of fun. TFTC.
I wish I was a few years younger but enjoyed the beautifully dry and concealed cache. Thanks BlaKids
I have been looking at the periodic table series of caches for some time now. Since I have decided to complete a challenge I need the numbers hence the reason for the run today. I took the day off work and co=opted a couple of fellow cachers, Lazarus_68 and Dezzabills. I thought a couple of days would finish the series off, So today we set off early on our pushbikes with the idea of completing as many as we could manage. As it turns out we made it all the way to the end. We were very fortunate to find the caches quicker than expected. So to sum up the day we found 117 caches in the periodic table and a couple of extras along the way giving me a grand total of 119 for the day. Not bad if I say so myself, and surprisingly there were no DNF's so all in all a great day. The ride down from home in Como took us 6 hours and 58 minutes. While my fellow cachers took the train home I toughed it out and rode home in just over 2 hours. We stopped several times down and back for a break and a bite to eat to refuel the bodies.
This was the 26th find of 119 for the day and was found at 10:01AM Thanks BlaKids/loubla for the cache. hhheddy

Cycled up from Cockburn Central to collect some Periodic's; this find 8 of the day. This one tested my athletic prowess LOL. TFTC series!
Out on a maintenance run. Had noted a previous DNF so had a look. Yes, cache is still there some few years after last seeing it. Happy hunting. BlaKids.
We are on a mission to reach 2999 before the Leap Year event in a week's time and needed 50 caches, so decided to hit the Periodic power trail and see how many we could get done in the time available. We were fortunate to have a cool day with an occasional refreshing mist / drizzle which made the cycling a pleasant experience for a February day. Made it from Mt Henry bridge to Cockburn Central in the time allotted so we were well pleased with our efforts.
We found the series in good repair with only 1 broken container and 1 full log which unfortunately we didn't have spares today. Will carry some when we do the next stage south.
Thanks BlaKids & LouBla for an enjoyable morning's caching .
Thanks for the cache BlaKids [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry .
This was find # 26 of 40 and 0 today giving us a total cache count of 2976.

Couldn't find it on the usual spots. When I saw the terrain level, I knew what to do.
Thank you
Thank you
Heading out today to get a few on Australia Day before the heat sets in. Nice walk to this location with the geodog. Running out of ink in ony pen so tried to leave a reasonable mark.TFTC!
Hello BlaKids - I found this cache today (my find # 3467) and the cache is in good condition. My day today began at Cockburn Central and after parking the car I headed north towards Leach Highway. The path is great to follow and generally level (an advantage with my old legs). Most caches are in good condition however some containers (sorry I didn't note which ones) are cracked and need replacement. SL. Thanks to BlaKids for the cache.
Up in Perth for a week from Albany, this trail was number one on the list of things to do. Starting in Perth and riding south we managed to find most caches in the series with only 4 that we couldn't find! We had some test tubes of our own which we replaced with some of the more broken containers but unfortunately didn't have enough to replace them all. Thanks for the epic series guys and also for maintaining them so well!
