This should be either replaced or archived.

There is no need to "wait for it to be archived," the owner can archive it if they don't intend to replace the cache.

Having it neither archived or replaced means the area is not available to other cachers should they wish to place a cache there.

16-Dec-13
Circled around in the cache mobile looking for the optimum access - pity about the river, and in the end we opted for the leisurely walk in option. A point of interest that we had not previously visited. Pretty quiet this evening.
Once at GZ the cache find was straightforward. All in order, log signed, then safely re-hidden.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too Big Grin

20-Aug-13
An easy find on a sunny afternoon while walking in the area. Log book completely unusable so logged in on a piece of note paper and left in place of log book

10-Aug-13
A quick find especially since it appears not to be rehidden too well. Properly covered up. TFTC

06-Aug-13
Our seventh of 10 Wainui caches. I spent many years living in Wainui so it was a nostalgic caching day. I used to run and bike through here and never knew it was called Lover's Lane so even at my age you can learn something new. An easy find. TFTC.

04-Aug-13
TFTC - Nice easy find for my first day caching.

04-Aug-13

Nice quick find while gulping down some takeaways before heading up Moores Valley to Brookfield Scout Camp for the weekend.

Cache totally exposed, and damp as many others have mentioned. Close to becoming unuseable.
Covered as best i could.

13-Mar-13
Dipping a couple of trackables on their way to GC46.
Log appears to have dried out, though the earlier exposure to moisture has made it a bit fragile.

10-Mar-13

Forgot to log the tb that visited. Cache 73 towards the goal of visiting 1000 caches.

19-Feb-13
I plugged the parking coordinates into my in car GPS. I doubted that I was being taken in the right direction but I persevered. I think a correction is needed here.

Once I sorted out a better place to park, I had a quick stroll to GZ and a very quick find with, surprisingly, nobody else about. The logsheet was a wee bit soggy and the cache quite smelly (I don't know what has caused that). TFTC.

20-Jan-13
We didn't know the area and tried to approach this from different directions before we decided the walk in from the Main Road was the quickest, after some long walks earlier in the day. Straightforward find once we were in the park. Nice setting. TFTC.

31-Dec-12
Coordinates spot on. No other people around. Log Book is filling up. TFTC

20-Dec-12
A quick grab. TNLNSL TFTC

#38 (for me) of Tom&Thomas' 50-something cache road trip to Wainui' to find the oldest cache in NZ, GC46.

Quick find by Smurf.

We passed a huge pine tree on the way down the lane and were commenting about the significant number of possibly cache sites in the tree but it was evident that this is a favourite climbing tree for the local kids...

08-Dec-12
A nice little park. Found with Etherlord and SmurNZ on a super awesome record breaking 50 cache day trip.

04-Dec-12
No lovers today but a couple smoking dope just past the track start. Soon found the container. SL TFTC

20-Nov-12
Out and about in Wainui at lunchtime today, so stopped by this park for a little stroll. A nice area I hadn't explored before. No love birds in sight today.

Enjoyable find with the caching cousins this evening - just took a moment to find the right access point. TFTC

Cache #747 - Quick find, but took a while to actually get to the cache. First there were the couple feeding the ducks, then the dog walker, then the jogger. Finally had a clearing and grabbed the cache. TFTC!

A pleasant spot indeed on a fine spring afternoon.
Only one place the cache could be, so an easy find. The top hadn't been replaced very tightly, and was a bit damp inside the container, but log book still signable.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Was in the area picking up a couple of caches this was my third cache that I managed to pick up in the Wainuiomata today after finding GC3Q9K0 - Pucks Daradise (Wellington), I noticed that this cache wasnt too far away and as it was on my way back out I thought that I might as well go and see if I can find it.

Was quite lucky that as I was on my way towards this cache I noticed that there was a carpark opposite the walkway to this cache and after parking was able to make a quick dash across the road to the walkway.

Making my way to the cache I was hoping that I was on the correct side of the river as the river was in full flow and I wasnt happy about having to make my way back to the start of the walkway to get to the cache. Arriving near GZ I soon realised that I was definitely on the correct side and was soon rewarded with the cache in the first spot that I looked.

What an interesting spot for the cache, havent being down this walkway before and it is definitely worth a visit, thanks for placing the cache here and for bringing me to this nice walkway, TFTC TNLNSL (4521)

A nice quick walk in the rain to find this one. Pretty stoked to be one of the first few to find it. Nice hide. TFTC.

14-Jul-12
A very quick find while in the area this morning - once I had sorted the access to the track. I missed the most direct point so walked along from Richard Prouse Park. A pleasant if slightly muddy walk in the drizzle. Signed log, TFTC!

FTF 0755 hours. First FTF for a very long time, did Yeetrees sleep in or is hs away? Razz - he usually beats me to this sort of cache especially if I look first thing in the morning!
I was tempted to go for this last night but a heavy frost put me off. Not sure how safe I would have felt wandering around this area at night anyway. I knew I was probably in with a chance this morning because there were no footprints on the frost covered grass!
Nice to see two new caches in this area put out by others, though the other one involves quite a bit of work to qualify to find it!
GZ is very exposed, definitely should have a stealth required attribute. The area is very popular with walkers, particularly those with dogs who often let them off the lead around this location. Personally I think a similar hide in one of the more secluded equivalents might have been safer in the interersts of security of the cache.
You can carry on from Richard Prouse Park across the sports field to another track which will bring you out at the Garden of Remembrance (where my cache will hopefully be restored soon after an act of ruination of a spectacular environmental feature for apparent commercial gain at the final GZ!)
Route 170 buses pass here, they stop nearby at the Village Shops and there are also several stops along Hine Rd.
The log bag is a bit big for the container, I will donate a more suitable one when I have a chance.
Several trackables visited, will log after an inventory check.
You can read up a bit more on the Prouse history in my log for the Richard Prouse Park cache in Levin.
TFTC.
