2/6/2024 Find #7036Adventure Day with KBreeAHH and Captain Terror. They had decided to be kind to me as I was still on injury recovery and choose a flat location for todays wanderings. Or so they said. Well look, to be fair, most of it was flat I guess. And the injury withstood the test throughout the rest of it, so I cant complain too much. This cache reminded our little group of a particular cache we found in Canberra after some significant searching.Todays cache was found much quicker at least. Thanks for the cache TMRabbit.
Another Sunday afternoon in the south east part of town, and the dog and I decided to continue finding rabbits in this part of town. This was the first on a little loop. I had about two hours up my sleeve, and that would make a good start in this area.I made my way to the obvious structure, and after a bit of looking, I spied the cache in its hidey hole. Decided to find a stick to extract, but then discovered one was not required. What a great idea. The log sheet was in good condition and the cache was signed and replaced. Thanks very much flr placing this cache TMRabbit. Cheers
Today was a beautiful day and I decided I was going to go for a bike ride in the bush to get all of the caches in this forest. Well, that didn’t happen but I looked for 10 and found 8 so more towards my count for the Wheel of Challenges. I was slowed down by horses. Apparently you are not allowed to ride in this place. Fair enough as it scares the horses. But the gate I went through near Rabbit Trap 1 had no signs other than to look out for koalas.
I was in this park for nearly 2 hours. I kept coming across horses and sour looks from riders. I would have to stop and wait for them to pass. Or keep a 100m distance behind them and they were not trotting! Mind you, I would find a track that said no horses allowed and get excited, but then would come across horses! This thwarted my progress and my enthusiasm. Now I only have half of them and need to find the rest on foot one day. Perhaps the attributes could be updated to help future cachers.
Found but couldn't get the log out at all. It is very bent and the plastic booklet cover is jammed. I replaced with new water resistant paper.

Thanks for the cache! Gets a favourite point also, for the life of me I could not extract the log, big fingers haha
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I needed to pop over to MacKenzie for an errand, and we then decided to use our new baby carrier in walking a section of Brisbane Koala Bushlands, picking up a few of the rabbit series (Rabbit Trap, Tricky Rabbit, Rat Plague, etc.).
After our long walk, Garden City Shopping Centre was our next stop where we had lunch and did some shopping, and then I decided to make my own way home, stopping at a few geocaches within the vicinity and around Mount Gravatt. I did manage to get a find a few more oldies from Mimosa Creek's geocaches, with M1 certainly being quite the adventure.
Whilst walking along these trails, we saw quite the large goanna lizard cross the path in front of us, and then ascend up a tree. After departing the track, we managed to make this cache find reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks TMRabbit for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

An overcast and slightly damp Thursday was an ideal time to look for this cache… just me and the wallabies bounding off into the bush…

Cute! I didn’t see the retrieval assistance device until I had already made a retrieval with my own arms. It’s a lovely day in the bush today. We’ve already seen a Wallaby and a kookaburra. And it’s not even 8 o’clock yet. TFTC
We walked right by this cache when we first started our hike. At the start we were absolutely freezing so needed to build momentum to get some heat worked up. Our caching day has started with nice quick finds but as the day went on it seemed to take longer and longer to make the finds like waiting for pension payments.
We hadn’t had a DNF all day and so didn’t want the last one to end that way. We knew we were in the right area and a few hints from previous logs eventually steered us back to a place I had already looked at. This time I actually opened my eyes to make the find. Now it’s time for my wife and I to head to the pub, minus my wife. tftc

Saturday. Out today with Que Sera to collect some rabbits. Very beautiful day indeed and a typical Qld winter’s day. Please excuse some of my logs being repetitive but I will add new bits to logs where I can. We found the cache tucked away in a beaut spot which took a bit of spotting, but the co-ords are spot on. Cache was spotted after a bit of digging around – very cleverly placed cache container indeed TMRabbit.
This was the 2nd of 28 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***TMRabbit*** for showing us this place

Mrs slow puncture and I decided to hit the trails here and we thoroughly enjoyed finding the caches here. It was great that they were all so different and we didn't know what to expect .all up I found 20 caches and revisited 11. We only had one dnf and the co was quick to help and allowed me to put down a replacement. Will be giving a few FP's away. Once again we didn't have too much trouble at gz and enjoyed the trails. Thanks for the fun
We found this cache on our round for Mother's Day. It was our second one today and we found it quickly. Not to far away there were a lot of butterflies, so beautiful. Thank you for hiding and caring.
COs- catching up on a significant logging backlog stretching back a number of years.??
Please note- Logging your cache on the date I had been there, not the day I'm logging. Cheers??
?? Out for my daily cache streak (PG friendly of course!) and popped in here to find this one.????
(This turned out to be not such a good year for try finding a cache every day in a continuous streak!????????)
Made a quick trip to the "office" for my daily trad streak. A pleasant walk and an easy find here today.

Happy New Year!! An early start for 2020 out treasure hunting with two of the kids. TFTC
First one for the bush walk with krcamber and Jodsta83! Quick find by krcamber. TFTC
Number 6 for the day, couldn't think of a better way to spend a Saturday, caching with friends
Out with CutiePie and MissBeauty. Great hide. Great way to see more of our local countryside
With a new cadre of souvenirs available during the Cache Carnival promo, today we planned to target caches which have a handful of faves (and simultaneously get some good exercise!) by riding around and tidying up the caches we've yet to find in the big bang, rabbit and rat series.
This one may have been trickier if it weren't for a few telltale bits of cover which my caching senses picked up on.

Today _Mud_Blood_ and I decided to hit up a trail and what better trail to do! We decided to cap it at 2pm to get lunch and to find other geocaches around Underwood Park.
_Mud_Blood_ and I really loved this one. It was in the usual place making it an easy and quick find. We also noticed another geocacher had signed the log so we wondered if we’d run into them along the trail. TFTC!

Out with Geopartner today to find a few rats and rabbits.
A bit of a stroll across country to this one.
Saw a few skippys in the area, cute little fellows but too shy to stay.
Saw something which gave me the hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks TM Rabbit All good with this cache

Accurate coordinates, so an easy find here. The cache appeared to be pushed in quite far, but the well engineered cache made it easy to extract. The tree growing on GZ was cute a cute sight to see too .
Today i was invited out by SelvaGirls to do some caching. We headed to the south side where there was a good run just waiting for the picking,Nice quick find. TFTC,
Just after 6am and the birds are getting rowdy out here. What a great spot. Easy find, tool intact, log dry, thanks for the cache!
No. 2 for the day. Saw the cache and thought how on earth am I going to get that one, but then I realised what I needed to do. A great cache set up indeed. TFTC. Lovely area to walk in.
Easy find! A few too many spiders so geo sister started pushing it until we discovered there was already a plan in place
First of the day as we attempt to do the Rats & Rabbits series. All good with the cache.

Back over to the southside with nikid1 this week for our regular geocaching Thursday.
We continued along the path to our second cache for the day. Moved to the side of the path to let 2 ladies on horseback pass us by, that's certainly a quicker way to travel these paths!
Another clever cache hide was soon uncovered. Log signed & cache replaced as found.

Out with KerriMG for a spot of caching on the south side. Grabbing a few rabbits we have missed. Nice hide.
Out for a bike ride which turned into a walk when I found the sign saying no bikes. I carried on in the heat (go figure, yep, Geocacher) and proceeded to get very confused by rats an rabbits, tricky and traps. I am going through my GPS to see which ones I actually went to as I got a bit turned around on the trails! Not lost but I went to 2 or 3 twice. Very sad face. Thanks for a grand tour and as usual the rabbits did not disappoint.
Lovely walk- really nice day for caching and not too hard.. always happy with such caches! Thanks for taking me here and thanks for the cache!!
I still need some caches to complete the October month challenge. This one was near. Well sort of!
Almost end up parking at someone's private property! There was an Anglican Church sign and a salon sign!

Just as I was approaching this location I noticed that this spot would be perfect to stop for some morning tea.
With a quick look around the cache was soon found, signed, returned home all whilst having a sandwich!
This cache was part of a lone-wolf adventure through this awesome part of the world.
I was just having one of those days... You know the ones, where you just wake up and have a craving to get outside and hunt a few smiles! I was just in need of a little alone time with Mother Nature and to waste time with Father Time, allowing me to balance myself and revitalize.
That that is just what I did today, wandered around and got lost in the wilderness that was this reserve.
Thank you TMRabbit for being part of my day by providing this geocache for me to find!

The goal was to hunt down a few more vermin on the darker side of town after a successful visit a few weeks back. After capturing the first wabbit pelt closer to where the geo-beast was parked, this was another quick find. Thanks for setting up this series TMRabbit.
This was a fairly quick find today...our 2nd one on our walk through this area today.
It is great to discover some of these trails. We passed lots of horses, and their riders out on a sunny Saturday.
Thanks TMRabbit,
Domsky
