Last found July 2022, not attempting until cache is confirmed. Will put on my watch list.
2 of us had quite a long look, I know this spot is a bus stop for local students so might of gone wandering?
Out with patrol14 and Peppa to get some cache numbers to hopefully get a milestone while at Townsville. We are trying to get to Kilkivan to do that area, but we keep getting distracted. TFTC
A friend mentioned making the Townsville Mega a milestone cache… I hadn’t even thought about it, but what’s a couple of hundred caches between friends…Hence the reason TMZ59, Patrol14 and I are hitting Kilkivan and surrounds…
Except we’re stuck in the backroads of Gympie… thankfully this was a nice quick find discussing the recent flood event in Gympie…

Day out with Peppa and TMZ59 caching in and around Kilkivan to get our numbers up to maybe reach a milestone at the MEGA.
Stopped to get fuel and a few caches before heading back to the highway. A quick find SL then returned as found.
Found on 4 April 2022. TFTC, Sweet-Sour.

Well, finally the weather has decided it will allow us a few days of dry camping (not totally dry, there WILL be a few lagers involved! ).
Our target area is Gympie and a few rural spots northwest.
The compass had me running in circles for a bit but once settled it was a quick find.
I must have come up against something sharp as I found claret running from my elbow!
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Thanks Sweet-sour. TFTC. After the event today , it was time to find some more caches before heading back to Maryborough. A productive day with an adventure lab completed and 17 finds. Unfortunately we DNF’ d 1.
Nice quick find. Had to surefooted here.

Not enough light will come back another day. Also need joggers I believe not thongs.

Headed to Hervey bay for my annual pilgrimage to see my daughters on their first day of school for the year. Lucky there's a couple of hundred of caches between Hervey Bay and home.
This was cache **1** of **70** All caches were found with ease and in good condition unless otherwise said, and I thank each of the Cache Owners for placing and maintaing these caches. I apologise for the generic logs, it doen't mean the effort has not gone unnoticed.
Been here once before so it was good to avenge a DNF and turn that frown, upside down. Under torch and moonlight, the cache was quickly found and signed, before heading on.
Thanks for the cache **sweet - sour**

After attending the New Year's and Cito events in Kilkivan, we headed North for couple of days for relaxing and caching. Now we are on the way back, searching the one or other cache.
This was such a stop.

While staying in Gympie for a few days with my Geodog Scruffy, we had to get out and find some caches in the area.
As I approached this I thought ' oh no not rocks again ... grrrr'
But in the 2nd spot I looked, moved a couple of rocks, and there it was.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Parked up and admired the view before attempting the cache - search for a while before geowife from above me, pointed out where she thought it was. Don't you just hate it when they're right!! Picked up the TB to continue its journey. TFTC Sweet-Sour
Decided on International Geocaching Day to find a few caches near us yet to be discovered. We have also dropped a TB we had. TFTC
I had to send my husband down to grab the cache because the bottlebrush trees were flowering and I'm very allergic to them. Using my directions, he managed to locate it fairly quickly. Tftc
This is the last day of a 14 day trip out to Barcaldine for the QOGM Event and on the way back to Brisbane. Found many caches and appreciate all CO's who placed them in their locations. Cache found and log signed. TFTC
Day 15 of our road trip to the QOGM and return and today we head off from Mundubbera for Brisbane via Gympie. Thank you so much to all the COs who have placed caches along the highways and byways that we will travel over in the fourteen days we are away. Without your caches we would not see and/or learn about your local area.
Able to finally turn a blue face to a yellow one.
Able to finally turn a blue face to a yellow one.
I am traveling a very zigzag route to QOGM in Barcaldine. I have been unwell, so delayed the start of my trip by several days. Yesterday, I arrived in Gympie and spent the night there. Today, I am setting off for Eidsvold. This was the first cache of the day. It was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
!!! With horror I realize that I have been here before and on checking there are a few others around here that weren't logged at the time. Rather than mess up my stats, I've decided to visit them all and log them for today.
This took some time for a second visit and I didn't even have photos on the phone to help. Job done now. Wouldn't call this place 'rock solid' so exercise caution when bringing little ones. TFTC Sweet-Sour

Funny cache description story. Nice location with a great view around these acreage properties. I wanted to stay in the shade under the fig tree but obviously that was not where I had to go. Very hot bitey rocks. Got frustrated quickly but luckily I spotted a nice collection of rocks hiding the cache after not too long and it was all worthwhile.
Took tiny pirate coin, rusty Hartley's pin and blue frog; left green plastic ring, metal ring and ww collector card.

We came upon your cache, sweet - sour, while spending a day geocaching around Gympie.
Thought that might have taken a bit of time but it was in around ten minutes that Mrs RoddyC had her hands on the cache.
Log signed and replaced at 12:18 pm on 2 January 2018. TFTC.

Drove up from Canberra, for a much needed holiday staying with my parents in Caloundra ... Up here for a few weeks (Christmas, and most of January
My parents didn't have any plans for this weekend/NYE so I figured I would come up for the Geocaching weekend at Widgee ... glad I did - 3 days of fun!
Arrived Friday evening, went and found lots of caches with others on Saturday and Sunday, including seeing in the new year with a little Geocaching adventure by myself (the others all went to bed early) then a few hours sleep and up again for more fun ... CITO event, and then the one over the road, before packing up, and following RoddyC, and then joined by Echocage1, to find a few caches on the way to Gympie, then a few more IN Gympie, then some caching with Echocage1 while waiting for dark, when we met up with RoddyC again for a night cache before I finally headed back for a very late (reheated dinner at my parents place - lol
TFTC - another one with Exhocage1
... Yep... Those ... just like being back at home ... (lots of CBR caches have that same hint - and it is about as "helpful" - lol)
Finally found it, after lots of looking, and dragging a pile of some weird plant out of where it had recently been dumped, because I was sure the cache was under there ... gave up on that, and I finally looked on the right angle at the right spot and found it ... about 2 or 3m away . .. A huntsman spider ran over me as I opened the cache ... which was really cool, because I like spiders

Boy,that has potential to be cruel, but the coords were accurate for me and found quite quickly,whewwwww.TFTC.
I was driving back into Gympie and it looked like the road this cache was on looped around and met back close to where I needed to go. This road was a whole lot quieter than the highway which meant plenty of time to slow down near GZ to look for a park. I parked in the side street and walked up over the rise.
What a cracking spot for a cache. The view of the valley was fantastic and bright and colourful. It was a pity I would have to ruin the view by looking for a cache. When I saw the rocks at GZ I let out a little tear.
Sometimes, rocks and I don't see eye to eye. It's one of the search locations which can be a bit hit and miss and usually after randomly poking around you have to start a long systematic approach. Today I didn't have time for a long look but with the view I would have come back another day if I didn't jag it quickly. I got lucky once again and thought I would test my luck by buying a lotto ticket, but I realised I had lost all my money gambling. tftc

Hang on a second !! [:o]
Cabbages don't grow on trees [:o)]
No wonder I couldn't find any here for me coleslaw tonight
I did find lotsa rocks !!
With the neighbours off to work for the day,
I poked around for a while.
And after a stumbly stroll,
found the cache
Not to hard with good coords [^]
TFTC,
but not for the cabbage supply !!

With a bit of persistence we found this one. Girls loved climbing over the rocks. TFTC
After spending the night in the area we decided to stop and grab a Cache before we headed North on the highway. This was our target for the morning, upon arriving as GZ and seeing all the rocks and the possible hiding spots I thought that we might be here for a while. Happy to repot that it didn't take as long to find as it could have.
Thanks sweet-sour

Found it after a spot of rock climbing! Paw Paws on the tree but still to green for eating. Log and contents all damp and a little mouldy and earthy smelling. Lovely views. Cheers

I drive to and from Bundaberg. A lot. My car GPS has caches on it, so as I drive I can see all the smilies I've previously found - and all those annoying little green boxes. Like this one. Quick enough find at GZ. Lovely tree.

But due to a problem with the Geo Truck (Loss of brake lights) Required a quick detour to my local repair shop soon had the problem rectified ans was on my way again. Nice cache thanks for bringing me here
Thanks for the great cache and adventure Sweet-Sour

1955, Elvis Presley released what would become his first No.1 hit, 'I Forgot to Remember to Forget / Mystery Train'. It hit the top of the country charts several months later and stayed there for 5 weeks.

Found a lovely paw paw tree close by with a ripe fruit, hope someone gets it. Beautiful outlook. TFTC
What a nice small park for a cache with all those great views. We found 2 nests in a tree nearby. There was quite a bit of fruit on the tree near GZ this am. We hope you had a great wedding anniversary made even more special by your daughter's visit from Sweden. What great memories for you all.

A cringe-worthy gz for me, but i know the CO is a big fan. Luckily this one didn't take too long to locate.

Headed out with Liz and Bruce to grab a few caches, that we missed with the caravan in tow.
A lovely area for a drive, and Bruce soon had cache in hand. Signed, and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Sweet-Sour, for us and others to find.

Great to get out for a days caching especially with our soon to be travelling companions The Drovers. We enjoyed the countryside and it was nice for us to know that it was an easy trip back to some of these wonderful locations especially around Eumundi and Noosa. Good cache. Thanks to Sweet-Sour.
Trying to do a run of 4 along this road. So far 1 from 1. A fun rock scramble. Tftf.
Enjoying exploring this part of the country with tmann421 collecting caches along the way. Many thanks to all the COs for making this such a memorable trip.

After joining in with Mr and Mrs Cantcacheus2014 on there 1000th cache find at the kings tomb, the remaining caches is this beautiful neck of the woods needed to be found by days end. It was an adventurous spotting a snake, breeding pair of wedge tailed eagles close by, a cicada emerging from its shell what an amazing thing to see. Luckily it hasn't rained as much up here as Brisbane currently, the 4wd handled the terrain with ease. Knowing the terrain levels of these caches we knew todays work would be hard and challenging at times. The last one for the day and we found ourselves climbing like mountain goats again but only on a 2-3m slope, after about 10minutes I grabbed the cache All in good order here, log signed and placed back TFTC
On road trip to Bundaberg with Team Biffo and stopping for some caches on the way. Had a good look but felt way couldn't look for too long.
Great find, it was dark - 6.30pm and we were coming home from a great day of geocaching. We had no torch and thought we would check out were the location was so we could come back the next day. Decided to see where in the rocks it could be. The coordinates were spot on and lead us to within 6m pointing down the slope, John being John decided to have a look anyway and what do you know he found the cache.

We had a wonderful drive around the country side. All the caches we found were well maintained, & good hints made for easy finds.

Fairy Mother and I were out on another of our Geo:adventures of Fairy Mothers territory, the bush, when we came across this cache.
This one took us a few minutes to find as there are MANY nooks and crannies for a cache to hide here. Many Muggles did drive by and we must have looked quite strange but hey, Geocaching is strange so who cares.
Thanks for the cache Sweet-Sour. Cache is in good order.
