This is a lovely area and absolutely the place for an Earthcache. Lots and lots of people here which I found quite distracting. Hard to find what needs to be found as there was a bus load of people in front of it. Anyway, got there in the end. Answers sent. Thanks!
Today went were Drivibg from Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road. And of course we went here to visit the 12 Apostels. It is really beautiful here, But there are to many people around. Thanks for hiding an EC here.TFTC magicchicken
Super miserable and rainy day but that didnt stop us from enjoying the sight of the apostles. Thanks for the EarthCache in this wonderful location!
Found with Gazania Rigens, as per her log. She has sent our answers.Indeed there're no longer twelve, though of course if you count more stacks as you travel further down the road, I'm pretty sure the rally rises beyond that figure, just not right here!
Visited together with Zouave, but we're on holiday and quite behind with our logging. We'll do the homework when we're back in Scotland and log our find then.
Horn, gehschei and Pablo had a lovely bus roadtrip today and learned a lot about the geology of the 12 or not so 12 Apostles. Thanks for hiding this Earth Cache!
The Twelve Apostles are a highlight along the Great Ocean Road. TFTC and the opportunity to learn something new about this wonder of nature!
On our trip along great ocean road we had to stop here offcourse. Although this place is most famous (and most touristic) we liked the other viewpoint along the great ocean road more than this one. Still, its an great view
Spectacular. We enjoyed the stay. It was a wonderful landscape here. I have sent requested answers to the owner. Photo is attached. I leave a FP.
A famous sight, and with a good reason! At the end of day two, we arrived at the twelve apostles and there were a lot of people, but the sunset created a simply stunning view that made us forget all those other people and we could simply enjoy the nature.
Wow, so much has changed since I was last here - last century We braved the wind and drizzle and the masses of people (only a small amount compared to the warmer months tho). The view is amazing! Thanks for the education and the views!!
What a stunning place to visit. Not at all surprised to hear its the 3rd most visited attraction in Australia!! We were lucky to have an amazing day and really enjoyed this spot - it did get very busy although Im sure this is nothing like the height of summer!! Thanks for placing a cache at such an amazing location!
Murkel and me made a nice walk around and enjoyed the view. Unfortunately the weather was cold and windy today. Thanks for showing us this place
London Bridge is the place not far from here. Wind rain and waves erode the 12 Apostles. New islands are formed. They erode at a rate of 2 cm per year
A windy and overcast day out here, as I imagine many of them are! Yet the colours of the rocks, sea and cliff faces were just enhanced in the softness of the light. We spotted a fair few birds, including one dead little penguin sadly. Enjoyed our time here and nice to add a cache to the list. Tftc
It had been sixteen years since our last trip down Great Ocean Road. While staying in Warrnambool with iluvtrekking, we decided on a day trip to check out the new viewing deck recently opened. We did the necessary observations for the EC and answers on behalf of both teams have been forwarded. Thanks juc_cacher
Thanks, juc cacher, wWe love a good Earthcache, they take you to some stunning locations. This is one of many we visited with richlink during a recent trip to SA. Our answers have been submitted.
Road trip to the 12 Apostles following a pit stop at Apollo Bay.Along with the spectacular coastline and someone recognising the Sunderland football (soccer) badge on my jacket being able to log a cache here was the highlight.Answers sent to CO, I hope they are OK.Thanks and greetings from Leeds, England
Bisoutje and I are on a roadtrip with a campervan between Cairns and Adelaide and have now touched ground at the Great Ocean Road. We had a great day on the road, enjoying ocean views around almost every corner. Whenever the ocean wasn't visible we turned our eyes upward to spot koalas which was spotted on our way to the lighthouse. We spent a significant amount of time here at the 12 apostels, lord arch and the London Bridge. Beautiful landscapes that deserve long hikes. We would have loved to be here before sunrise to see the penguins march to the see. Who knows in the future we maybe will. Today we learnt a lot about the geological processes behind all these magnificent views.Answers are sent to the CO.TFTC!
Superbe endroit qui mrite un PF et une earth.C'est un plaisir de parcourir cette route lgendaire.
On a road trip driving the Great Ocean Road with my family all the way from Singapore and Malaysia..! Last time we were here at the 12 apostles was 20 years ago..! Still as magnificent. Thanks for the earth cache !
We kunnen terugkijken naar 2 mooie weken in Australi!NLBokkie and I are going on holiday to Australia for 4 weeks. We will go to Tasmania for the first week and then travel around on the "mainland" for 3 weeks. Along the way I'll meet my niece, I haven't seen her for 50 years. It will be a holiday full of experiences......Our cache goal is to visit different countries. So we fly back to Dubai and forth via HongKong. We would like to score an FTF in Australia. We do that in Tasmania?? Then the webcam caches in Adelaide and the old caches between Adelaide and Sydney. Then we end up at the Mega in Canberra. A full program which a lot of fun!Unfortunately, after 2 weeks we have to end our trip with an earlier return flight to the Netherlands. My mother passed away and we have to go back. We can look back at 2 beautiful weeks in Australia!
Visited here today on a chilly rainy day, it didn't detract from tmr beauty of this place. Will email CO answers
Very excited to be here at the twelve apostles and am looking forward to exploring and learning more about the area.
I went with da Bush Family went on a 2-day drive on the Great Ocean Road for some spectacular views and of course some target caches along the way. This was one of them. TFTC
Great place to come for some awsome pictures along the coast. Was cloudy when we went which added to the grandeur of the cliffs!
My first day on my second stay in Australia! I work as a Technical Warehouse Equipment Trainer - Conveyor Technology at Coles. This place is fabulous and the opposite of technical design. This is designed by nature and time! T4T$gatschi004
#19745 - 1:44:00 PM; Day twelve (just a coincidence!) of a road trip with the geohoney, taking the long way inland to Adelaide from the National Capital and back again via the coast. After spending the night in Port Campbell, we backtracked to the Bay of Islands to start our earthcache led mission along the Great Ocean Road today. Last stop on the earthcache tour, but not least. Another enjoyable wander, just a pity the new platform is still to open. The other five apostles might be back in place before then! The required information was also collected and answers sent off to the CO who gave a quick OK. TFTC juc_cacher
Found this with gridge98 on our road trip to Victoria. We took the great ocean road to Warrnambool, then to Ballarat and Halls Gap. Fantastic trip away over 5 days. Thanks for the cache!
An iconic spot in Australia, 4th time here for me and its forever changing, I dont remember it being this busy. courtneyrose_ and I headed away to Victoria for a 5 day trip for me to partake in the Ballarat Marathon. Along the way we made our way to the great ocean road to explore the area, after both of us had not been there for many years. We then headed to Ballarat for 2 nights before heading to Halls Gap for a scenic experience for the night before making our way back to home to Adelaide. Thanks for the cache.
Visiting from Canada on a two week road trippf wastern Australia, great to see this beautiful part of the world.
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, today we travel from Apollo Bay to Port Fairy. There is a lot to see along the way, including the twelve apostles. Of course we will look for the answers to the questions for this earth cache and we also took a nice photo.**juc_cacher**, thanks for the cache.
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. We had about three weeks in New Zealand which went by too quickly. The remaining five weeks are spent in Australia. Today we drive from Apollo Bay to Port Fairy. Not a long drive so we take the Great Ocean Road and have lots of stops because there is so much to see. Naturally we had a stop here and walked the pathways and visited the platforms. Lovely and interesting view. The answers have been mailed by janvandevis. Thank you very much for this earthcache at this special spot.
Stopped a few times here over the years and it has become more commercialised every time we stop.Still an impressive sight though. Surprised they don't charge you to go and look. Thanks for a simple earthcache. We usually avoid these but this one looked very doable for us.
On a day trip from Melbourne CBD on a bus with 20 overseas tourists and a drag Queen bus driver we arrived at our main destination the 12 Apostles. We only had 30 mins here so it was a quick snap of the sign and quick snaps of the Apostles. It would have been great to have longer here but it was what it was. Answers sent to CO. A beautiful part of Victoria indeed. TFTC. The Chikins from Brisbane
Day 11 of our roadtrip in Australia. After a good night's sleep in Warnambool we'll drive the Great Ocean Road today. So it's mostly Earthcaches today. The weather is cloudy and windy, but it's dry, so perfect for us. Visited this place as the last and happy to do so, as we have already seen so many great formations further west and with a lot less tourists. Answers sent. Thanks and kind regards from Switzerland, Hinni&Simo
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. From day 49/74, I was accompanied by my dear son, geocacher Ruupertti, who travelled from Finland to visit me in Australia and to spend a holiday with me in New Zealand at the end of my secondment. Day 55/74, Saturday. This was our Great Ocean Road day. Unfortunately, we both got the flu and did not feel too well, but we decided to go anyway, because this was our only opportunity. We really enjoyed the road with the beautiful views. My favorite spot was the 12 apostles. I loved this cache! I sent our answers to the CO, I attach my photo and I also leave a favorite point. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
Mrs. Amazing and I are on a three week trip in New Zealand and Australia as part of our bucket list. This is one of the geocaches we got along the way. It definitely gets a favorite point from me. Thanks so much for putting this one out as well as feeding my insatiable addiction!
SM325 and I are on a bucket list trip to New Zealand and Australia. This is our first time here. What an amazing place! We have been on an all day tour of the Great Ocean Road. TFTF!
What an amazing place. Loved our visit here, and great to be able to solve an earthcache. Answers sent to CO. TFTC
Visited the 12 Apostles today and had not realised there was not 12 but also that there are many more wider formations further west (eg Bay of Islands). Loved visiting these formations. Answers sent. Tftc
Answers sent to CO. Fabulous place for a cache. Favourite point. Greetings from UK
#2961 This is my day 274, and the longest physical cache find streak so far. I want to see how far I go. I am on a family vacation in Australia. After visiting Brisbane, Tasmania, and South Australia, now we are at our final stop, Melbourne. Today, we signed up for the Great Ocean Road day tour and found caches along the way. Thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan @ March 4, 2024 10:44:38
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip. Now has Ellen Sch, MrVon sr and Insve started on their jurney home to Norway so we now sign logs with our nick.

Alltid hyggelig med et nytt smilefjes p kartet.????Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, Norge????????????Me and MrVon sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.????We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4(ingsve, MrVon sr. Team Eika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.????Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway????????????
This is the forth time we visit this beautiful place. Stunning view as always. Greetings from Norway, TFTC:)

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot. Today, we take the great road sea to go to Mount Gambier. A lot of steps, long walk in the sand, but we did it. WE are lucky, water isnot hight There was funny, when a wave touch us.Thanks for the virtual cacheThanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
Greetings from Seattle! I'm down under for the first time with jtcoffee to attend the Great Leap Forward in Adelaide. While here, we're naturally trying to pack in as many "bonus" activities as possible, including (but not limited to) the following: ??? Log our find finds in the southern hemisphere ????? Find Lane Cove, Australia's Oldest ??? Experience Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Sydney ??? Drive the Great Ocean Road ???? Visit the Lord of the Rings filming locations in New Zealand ????Tackle a challenge cache requiring 31 Earthcaches, and 31 Virtuals in 31 days (GC32TBZ and GC32TC2) ?? ??Today is Great Ocean Road Day and this was our fourth (or fifth?) Earthcache of the day, and for those keeping score - our 17th of the trip. There were so many other tourists around that I found this to be a somewhat stressful stop despite the breathtaking views. Answers will be sent in (or already have been) by my own personal roadside naturalist, Jessie. Thanks for keeping this one in play and thus contributing to our amazing adventure in Oz! ??
Greetings from Seattle! ??I am lucky enough to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega-Event in Adelaide with my fellow Lackey and best geo-buddy giacaches, and we hit the road to take the scenic route to get there. ?? We're heading from Melbourne to Warrnambool today via the Great Ocean Road and I've been so excited to see this place since so many people have recommended it! It was great to see this iconic road with all of the great wildlife and scenery. This was a must-see location and I am so glad we stopped! It was very popular with other tourists as well, but we were able to get in and see the sea stacks and enjoy the long view from here. Answers have been sent in for both of us. ?? Thanks for adding to a beautiful day and amazing trip!
Loci612 is sending the answers for DARKSIDEDAN and Loci612. An interesting stop on our cross country odyssey. Thanks for the cache.
Answers have been sent for kiwisteve2 and myself. Pretty crowded here today and probably will be more crowded in Adelaide at the Mega.Beautiful place!Tftc
**Today:**Found with DSDToday we decided to both visit the Great Ocean Road for the first time! This wasn't originally on the plan for this trip, but our route changed slightly due to fires and we were too close to the coast here to miss it! We started caching in Port Campbell and ended our day in Mount Gambier, where I also crossed the SA border for the first time as well! A hugely productive and incredible day of amazing sights and plenty of new places visited. ---**This Cache:**Wow! Surreal to be visiting the Twelve Apostles today, something I have always wanted to do, but didn't expect to be doing today! Enjoyed the walk around, however the AL was quite frustrating, so this Earthcache was a nice substitute as it all went well. Thanks for bringing us hereSent answers to the CO and a pic attached to this logTFTC
Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.

Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today we went on nice excursions around the Melbourne area.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndy
Day 2 of our GOR tour with friends visiting from the UK. It was really busy here, despite the full on wind and it being 20 degrees cooler than yesterday. Here's a picture of windswept Rick.
PCNBT Team we stopped to get this Earthcache and have a look at the Twelve Apostles and take some photos what an awesome place I have heard alot about these finally I can see them in person . This deserves a favorite thanks juc_cacher
My slow journey to the Adelaide Mega involved stopping at various beaches along the coast to grab a few Earthcaches and to enjoy the sun and the sand along the way. This was one of my stops. 20+ years since last visiting this place gee things have changed such a torist mecca..I have a picture at home that was taken just before the last one calopsed.
For sure we had to visit the 12 Apostles on our Road Trip. I have been here already but as a muggel. Now I used my second visit to log that Cache. Thanks to juc_cacher for placing this one. Answers send via Messenger. Basti2005 17. Februar 2024 15:38
Travelling the Great Ocean Road as we make our way to the Great Leap Forward in Adelaide. We stayed last night in Apollo Bay. Now weve arrived at Tourist Central. OMG. People all the show. Good weather for viewing limestone stacks. Did the AdLab and answered the EC questions plus taking all the obligatory tourist photos. Thanks for placing this EC juc_cacher.
Today I visited the cache "But there's not twelve !". The scenic view is unbelievable. The wind was very strong and the waves are working to shape the Apostel. There must be a favorite point in.Thanks to juc_cacher for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1

I've visited the 12 Apostles many times, and it's fascinating to see how it's evolved as a tourist destination. Thanks for adding this Earthcache.
