Cache has gone AWOL and making another camo is hard work, so I'll just archive and let someone else hide something cool in the area.
I feel like I understood what the description and hint were pointing at but I must be barking up the wrong tree (so to speak) because I had no luck
A quick find here but unable to sign log as it is soaking and turning to mush. Needs a visit from CO with a new log and inner container. Tftc!
The inner container has no lid and log is soaking and disintegrating. Needs a new log and new waterproof inner container.

Today I did a big Geocaching tour to earn some smileys and souveniers.
Found this Cache quite fast.

A popular walkway I must say, a fair number of muggles going up and down the path. Not hard to look like one needs a wee break though as an excuse. A short hunt, nice work on the camo but the log needs replacing as it's a wet one. Cheers

Found on a dog walk.
Cool cache but unfortunately, the film canister has lost it's lid and the log is quite gutted. Was not possible to sign in, so photolog.
Never knew these steps existed, they were not on my map, so walked down and wanted to map them on OSM. To my surprise, opening the editor, the steps were already mapped! Looks like another mapper has mapped them just a couple of days ago!

Found after a small search. Log is wet and unable to be written on. I tried. Photo as proof here. Tftc
Was caching in this area while on an enforced holiday from work with a broken arm/shoulder immobilised in a sling !
Luckily I was given a ride by Rincewood3 this morning ; and was able to cross quite a few caches off my Wish List !
It really cramps your style as a Geocacher when you are not able to drive or even cycle !
This took me quite a bit of hunting ,,, but finally phone GPS settled and then was quick find !
Thanks maus1

Terrific cache but it needs maintenance. The film canister has lost the lid so the log is wet and nigh impossible to write on. I have a photo if proof needed. Worthy of an FP. If we get as much rain as they say from Cyclone Cook the next 2 days I am not sure this will be anything bar pulp. Thanks for the clever hide.
We walk up here nearly every day but still took us a while to find it!! Nice cache.
Found with odgersaj when I didn't understand the app/have a prem account - now I do though! Signed the log back then but didn't do the online bit so logging now. Thank you!!
#12939. Troodles got stuck in and soon located the nicely constructed cache. TFTC.
StreetWalker and I waited until the afternoon to go out and find a few caches, hoping that the weather would improve by them after a cold and wet morning. And even though the wind was still cold, it had stopped raining and the sun even made an appearance.
This is one popular walkway but luckily the cache was a quick find in the obvious place. Nicely done camo! Had a wee bit of difficulty getting it back together again, think I did it satisfactory. Thanks for the effort with this hide and TFTC.

Mum let me out at the top while she found a park. The cache was pretty quickly found in the first place I looked. I guess it just looked out of place to me. The logbook is abit damp due to a missing lid of the film cannister. Nice camo job. Thanks for the cache
I managed to pick a time of day when people are climbing up and down the steps for fun....after 30 mins lurking on of them looked like she was going to call the police...will try again later!
A quick find, signed the logbook and had to wait for ages to re-hide the cache. Amazing where all the people came from. Managed eventually to put it back in place. TFTC
Hardest part initially on this cache was getting a park near GZ with some muggles doing some odd parallel parking manoeuvre right where we needed to be. Wandered back and down to GZ, missed the knitting aspect but did see a ball of concrete ? Nice hide, thanks.

Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.
Mallorcatommy and I were travelling through the southern island of New Zealand. What an amazing, breath-taking landscape! On our way we did some nice walks, enjoyed ourselves and found great geocaches. Thanks to all owners for nice hiding spots... We wouldn't have been to a few places without these little boxes!
Thank you!
Thank you!
I walked up the steps to replace the cache camo. I was huffing and puffing a bit more than when I placed the cache, so maybe I need to come up here more often!
A quick find with a tiny bit of help from Geo Jessie and Busy Paws. TFTC.
Was dreading a walk up and down the steps but it turned out we parked at the right end and the cache was only 30m away. Easy find as we realised what cache container may be with the title. Cool wee hide. TFTC
I am super happy to say I found this cache! Extremely clever cache! This definitely earns a favourite from me!!!

Thanks for that, I will put out a new container soon, once the last of the silly season is past.
Somehow I have lived in Cashmere 12 years and walked the stairs down to valley road. Now, on holiday again with the family, I've finally seen this little corner of a beautiful neighbourhood! Thanks for the hide that led me here!
The container was open and the canister didn't have a lid, but we had a snaplock bag on us and so we put the canister in it.

Cleverly hidden! Although lid was missing from canister and log book a bit damp but still usable.
Waited out some muggles using the path, (how rude of them to disturb my mission), found after a short search. TFTC.
I saw / found this cache last weekend but didn't have a pen with me.
The cache listing tells us to bring one - so I returned today.
Excellent cache, thanks for your efforts maus1. TFTC.
PS - the outer coating was fairly water-logged but all OK with the logbook.

it's pouring with rain, I've read the logs, I need a cache to get 150 consecutive caching days. This is not going to be an easy cache, anyway a will give it a go. Bang got it in 10 seconds, I guess some days you just get lucky. TFTC
Spent a while on it with no success. The workmen above throwing rubbish into the general area kinda made me think that another time might be best. Cheers
Loved the cache. I took my friend BBear44 for the third search. It took about half an hour and she found it. We admired your craftsmanship. Then headed of to the event at the Sign of the Kiwi.
Pretty sure I know what kind of object i was meant to be looking for but had zero luck locating sadly!
From all the clues and comments, I knew exactly what I was looking for but it was still quite well hidden. Spotted and log signed.
Another walkway in ChCh that I didn't know about. GPS wasn't playing ball under the trees. I had a ruff idea on what I should be looking for. A nudge from a previous finder got me the prize. Thanks for the cache.
Wow that is a goody. It was a dark hunt. At the gz I saw it and thought no it can't be. .. Can it? Is it? Yes. ..... yeeeeehaaaaaaaa. Tftc favourite from the possums.

Very well made. Thanks for the effort gone into creating this cache. Another place we've never been. TNLN SL TFTC.
Tried to do this one in the fading light yesterday, but left empty handed. Returned in full daylight today and after some serious noodle scratching, spotted it and - there it was. Very clever cache, gets a favourite from us. TFTC
Lovely spot tucked away. Bit of a bash - went back to ground zero and spotted... TFTC!
Our second attempt at this one. Less leaves on the trees during winter helped the GPS. Found by clever thinking Nat. Easy to see why this is a popular cache. TFTC
Had us fooled initially then thought again about the clue and whamo. Love the effort put into the cache
Already knew what to look for on arrival but caching under trees with a phone can be tricky. Initially about 4m out but checking the satellite version of the map put me right. An easy find. Tftc
This one had me hunting around for way too long but stuck with it and finally came up with the goods. TFTC. Cheers Bo
With Sonia 26642 Back logging now for all my previous finds over the last 9 months....

Mum had come up for the weekend, so I had been hanging out with her most of the day. Went to the event in the arvo, and chilled most the rest of the time.
Didn't have a physical cache for the day yet, thought I did have the event, but wanting to keep my streak going with physical caches, had to find one!!
We ended up deciding on this one, as it wasn't too close, yet was something we could get pretty quick.
So walked up all the steps, and the four of us began searching. Had to then wait while some muggles with a dog passed. And that's when I clicked of what form the cache would be... and as soon as those muggles were out of sight, I was pulling out the cache too!! Sweet as find!!
TFTC!!

Went with sonia26642 for her daily fix - she had her hands on in while the rest of the group was still fumbling around... very nice hide, TFTC!!
An ab fab cache and a +1. Can't describe the hilarity of clarity as it dawned in possession as it would be too much of a spolier but the smiley is very appropriate

I didn't see the cache at first but after finding a small calling card from the Wombles-BBT lying on the ground I knew I was in the right place. The cache appeared like magic. Quickly logged and replaced.

A few hours to go until my flights to Europe, so I decided to go out on my bike for a bit of exercise and caching. After finding the nearby Humming Away, I arrived at this one and for some reason went right to it which never happens. Nice hide! I should forget my flights and concentrate on all of the caches that I usually miss if my luck is so good today.
Cheers maus1!

I had my 3 dogs with me and was concerned I may have to give up because of the neighbouring dog barking so much but quickly found. Great camo.TFTC
A tricky hide. Followed TikavaNZ's method, and the cache was mine. Thanks for the hide.
Out with Graemey (father in law from the UK) who arrived today, but no luck on our first attempt for this evening..I'll be back
Second look for this one- and thanks to the lovely Mrs Sharpe it was successful! Very innovative cache, well put together!

With time to kill between a client visit and picking up my daughter from a training session for her holiday job, I went caching (of course, especially since it was a dot day). Arrived at GZ and it kept moving up and down and onto the private property. Stood still for a while to let it settle, then spotted something suspicious in the first place I looked. Thanks for bringing me to an interesting little walkway I'd never been to before. TFTC - A favourite.

Not a lot of luck today I'm afraid. Tried this one after logging a DNF on Little G's Hook It. Perhaps today was not the day to try such difficult caches. Having said that, I'd rather search for something a bit tricky than just find a box in the bushes. Will be back...
Walked down to GZ and though I thought I knew what to look for I was impressed with the camo job. Just wish I had skills like that.
MacPacMum & JustMeG went out for some late night stealth caching. Torchlight made it a little bit more challenging but we found it - even if it was a stumble down the hill that helped. Thanks for the effort put into this cache.
454 - Out tonight with MacPacMum and even though this was my second visit I thought we were going to leave empty handed, but MPM found it just as I was going to suggest we came back in daylight. TFTC
