Out and about for a Sunday drive. Time to head to Waimate for a late lunch and a couple more caches. A bit of to and from and soon had cache in hand TFTC Bitsprayer
Looked in the wrong place for a bit but got there in the end. The nearby road sign is too the point!
Found with Juju54 and HRH54- quick easy find - log wet but writable - TFTC
A nice quick park and grab. The local sheep were very curious to see what we were up to. TFTC
Cache 870 Making an emergency trip to Christchurch and stopping in Waimate for the night, so decided to grab a few caches while I’m stopped. That’s a big dip in the road, luckily it wasn’t filled with water. Cache was found pretty quickly but contained stodgy lollies Ewwww. Cache in good shape log a little damp. T4TC
umm, too much gorse I think, that probably wasnt as big when the cache was hidded.
Cheers and thanks,

I too loved the sign. Cache was an easy find. with Lytteltonwitch today. Sadly our 2 days have come to an end, we have had a great time here. TFTH
We ran the dogs around knottingly park and as we heading home i remembered there was a cashe nearby we hadnt look for yet. Pulled up on the side of the road, let the dogs out and wandered along, having to act super nonchalantly due to the unexpected business of this back road! Got attacked by the very spikey bushes - long clothing recommended!
Since we were already taking a detour heading north, we decided to go for a nice walk around the park and around. TFTC!!
Found the cache but didn't spot the bridge - guess I was focussed on the task at hand. TFTC # 13,947
Wow a poor unloved cache. A bit waterlogged but able to sign. Thanks for the cache bitsprayer
Was wet. Also on opposite side of road than showing for me. Hint if needed....read backwards.....elop hpargelet
#15730. Was happy to let Troodles search for this one (there was only room for one person to burrow in and search). TFTC.
Our last day in Waimate, so we thought we'd better find some Waimate caches before heading back home to Christchurch . We set out at 8am on a grey dismal morning, eager to find as many caches as possible before the forecast rain started (luckily it remained dry until late morning).
StreetWalker sent me off to look for this one while he remained in the car - maybe his gorse radar had pinged. Managed to track it down quite quickly, after finding the least prickly access to GZ. Had to tip water out of the container and rescued the TB which has been rusting away in it for some time now. TFTC.

Day 2 of our 6-Day End of the Year caching trip to Dunedin. We couldnt find this one. There was seemingly no bush left at GZ anymore. We gave the surrounding one a quick look just to be sure but needed to move on.
Found while on a weekend leave pass with Karma Reprint, heading up and down the Waitaki Valley with a few bike rides and wanders on the way. It looks like this creek carries a fair amount of water in the rain, luckily the cache is going to be safe. Cheers
A nice find today. cheers.
Off on a caching weekend with Kiwi Moose, to the Waitaki and slightly beyond. Great weather, great place to be, great company, and more than a few little plastic boxes.
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

While Mr Gruffalo cooked a Mothers Day roast lunch we came to find some Waimate Geocaches. This was a quick and easy find. TFTC!
Came here on a morning bike ride to find some of the caches on this side of Waimate. A quick find in the first place checked - signed log, TFTC
Today a new cacher accompanied me today to learn the ways of locating caches. We had a ball having a walk around Knottingley Park.
Cheers for the cache.

TFTC Found while taking a group girls from Waitaki Girls High School geocaching as part of their activities week.
Looks like a weigh bridge. Or just a forgotten bridge for the ford. Tftc
Found with Chosen1978, Quick find. Don't know where these bits of a bridge go. TFTC
What's that all about? Anyhow found the smiley.
