I searched inside twice & outside too. For a small container I don't know where it went. I drove up the hill just to do this one cache. Bah. lol. Might need checking.
Log was outside of location and out of bag. Container and log were wet. Tried to dry it out a bit and put it where it belongs. Think log will need to be replaced. Great hiding spot though! TFTC
I had no idea I was going to be getting into such tight spaces on this lovely Monday morning. Retrieved tb. Tftc
Thanks for the hide. Picked up the kangaroo trackable. Enjoying a hike around the national park.
Last one for the morning walk and of course we took the long route to get to this one doh!

Played mountain goat with IQO for our first cache in the area. Lots of vines to snag the ankles on the way up and down. Found the cave of despair and not being fond of slithery things was very happy to retrieve with the geostick. TFTC Harry2351 Lensterhawks838.
A great way to start the day climbing through the vines to get the blood circulating it was even better on the way down.
Did not see a TB in the cache.

A bit of clambering here and there before I finally spotted this one

Decided to do a few caches in the Whistlepipe Gully area today and this was the first one of the day. Made my way up through the bush ... plenty of introduced creeper here and made a quick ind after I stopped to read the description. Cache was fairly exposed so I concealed it a bit with some rocks.
SL. TNLN. Thanks for the hide Harry2351 & Lensterhawks838.
Might catch up with you at the 'WA Goes BIG in 2015' event in Busselton later this year (GC5GR5X)

After finding the nearby 'Whistlepipe Gully Down Below' I was heading back to the car and saw that this one wasn't too far away at all.
I thought to myself "how hard could it be?" I didn't have the long pants on but decided to give it a go anyway. The last ten meters was the hardest part and once at GZ I spied the cache. Reached in with my geostick and was able to retrieve it without too much trouble.

That was a great climb up the hill and I was very thankful that it was a nice dry morning as it would be quite difficult in the wet. I found a few little caves up there, but eventually I found the actual Cave of Despair. I thought I might've needed my torch and I had prepared for a tight squeeze, but it turns out that the cache was pretty close to the entrance. TFTC Harry2351
Now to get there, find and follow the track, it was easier coming back than climbing there Im too old for that. Log needs replacing. Look around before you put your hand there. Ive seen snakes in smaller holes. Now if you are going to do this one may I suggest Spring. The flowers here are just great. Ive lived in the area for 30 years and only found this place 2 years ago - I had missed out! Great place for a cache. boots gaiters and long trousers are the go.
This was our very first find, and we were very impressed with location and cache.
We learnt not to wear thongs for geocaching and our little pooch couldn't make this climb
But kids were very excited to find the cache in a cave
Thanks heaps Harry2351 8D

After spending all day yesterday doing some long overdue maintenance around the house, I wasn't going to stay home for a second day. Plans were made last night to head up Lesmurdie/Kalamunda way. What we didn't count on was the soaring temperatures. This one wasn't too far from where we parked, and we found the cache very quickly. Thanks Harry2351
Wow! Dragged my family and friends along and it was a long, bushy and sharp walk. We walked for a tough 20 mins until we faced taunting, vicious rocks. Heaving and puffing, we finally reached the cave of despair. Thanks for the cache ))))
Joint find in the rain with stus*crew.....Dropped off TB.......Stay safe and thanks for the cache...
After school and homework we headed up into the hills to knock off some in this area we did not have the time or the legs to do when last here.
This area was very cool, it was rather wet and damp from the days rains but it added to the experience as we carefully picked our path over the moss covered rocks. The cave was found in no time, it just took longer to work out who was getting in to get the cache but then it was discovered no real spelunking was needed.
A fave point from us for this one and all the others you have placed in the area. Thank you Harry and Family.

[:(!] After church we had some time to kill so we spent the afternoon picking up some caches and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GC3QHC2 (Cave of Despair!!!!!) and we walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes, we came in from the top side.

A very enjoyable Sunday winter's afternoon caching in Mundy Regional Park. I left this one until last as the name put me off a little. Turned out to be the cave of a delightfully quick find! TFTC!
Admired this area - enjoyed wander until found cave - wow - beautiful... signed the log at 2pm. Thanks Harry2351.
Apologies for the late log.
Over from QLD to visit family and do a spot of caching with my sister Gleakk.

Out caching with the_young_1s. 5yo geokid did the all important crawling and retrieving part of this find and felt very important indeed! TFTC
Approached from the top on the way down to the Lunch Spot. This was an easy find for a small GeoSqueak. Left: Shoe TB. Thanks Harry2352!
Thanks for the cache Harry2351. I enjoyed a lovely walk in the area with MDV this afternoon and logged this find on our travels.
After scrambling around on the rocks for a while we found a likely looking spot....after a closer look we found cache...thanks Harry2351
Came down from above, GPS had me 8 metres off and I found a much smaller cave with obvious signs of activity. Crawled in about half a metre, (nearly got jammed in there) and came out with nothing, of course. I was in despair!
Checked the iphone GPS and it had me in the right direction, finding the cache in quick time. All is now well. TFTC.

Tftc... Took us a little while working from the top of the hill down.. Particularly with the iPhone as the GPS jumping around all over the place but got there eventually.. Left a shell
I was a bit dubius about doing this one but I found the going not bad and continued up the hill after finding the cache so I didn't have to worry about trying to go down the slope. The only problem I had was all the cobwebs I had to clear before I could reach the cache.
Thanks Harry2351 for the cache.
Thanks Harry2351 for the cache.
I don't think I took the same path as Chwiliwr to the cache as I still had to get through quite a lot of spider webs...
Luckily the going was not too tough heading up the hill, and the cache was an easy find once I was at GZ. Thanks for the cache Harry2351!

Couldn't not grab this one after our FTF so close. Grabbed the red Jeep. With grevus.in.oz
Quick find on the way back to the car. Great spot... for an entomologist!

Nice spot, very different to most outcrops in the area that are granite. Flowers are great at the moment, dropped off a Jeep travel bug. Thanks to the Cacher that left the Rollo wrappers in the cache, perhaps time to read up on "cache in trash out"!!
Ingrid and I with the help of our dogs buddy and shadow found this. Ingrid's first cashe
Made a quick find after parking on Alpine Rd.

Had a few qualms about attempting this because of caveophobia but it turned out to be unwarranted. Found a much quicker and easier way back to the car, too, but that often happens to me!
Some lovely moss covered rocks about here. Thanks for the hunt Harry2351.

Out with iluvtrekking on a day caching in the hills. Geo-hubby volunteered to do the tummy shimmy into the cave to grab the container.
I saw this cache listed this morning and thought it would make a great adventure for Pink_Bilby. In the end it was only about a 50m walk from where I parked. A fantastic location. Pink_bilby had great fun crawling in to look for the cache. Thanks for a great cache.
