Wasn't too sure of just what we would find in gz hidey-hole. But yeah success today. Easy find from the clues. Careful on this busy road
Headed down south east qld with RoddyC and Hatzofff to do a message then find a few caches. Many years ago I used to come down here to Trip the Light Fantastic at the Gilston Hall. Beautiful scenery while driving around this area. Soon found a park near GZ and it didn't take long to have the cache in hand and signing the log. Cache replaced as found. TFTC
Looking through the caches list from the 10th of this month and I can't find the log I thought I posted for it. I remember commenting about finding a BrisTracker cache.Oh well. better late than never.
Had a delivery to do to the Gold Coast today so decided we could do some caching in the area. We had plenty to do on the coast but where to start. We headed to a closer unfound cache and worked around there. It was surprising just how many were unfound for the three of us. Caching with RoddyC Imbunda and dodging showers as we went.Nice directions. Very interesting cache.TFTCache Snickersallan
29/11/2023 Find #6742Wednesday Wandering Madness hasnt happened as frequently in the past few months, but today I managed to snare Crew153 for a day out with me. Luckily for me he also enjoys using his GSAK to decide where we should go. We made the quick pull off the road and headed over initially to the wrong GZ hide, however a short wander and I soon was at the right one. Dont know what that camo was, however if it wasnt for the rock, it would have likely made it rather invisible. Thanks for the cache Snickersallan.
Out for a Wednesday Wander with 1MinnieMoo to clear a few of our mutual unfound caches in the area.I was searching one area but 1MM decided to look in a different spot which was about 5m from where I was searching and she found the cache there.TFTC Snickersallan
Went to the wrong spot to start with but soon on right track with the whole team effort.

Lovely day for a spot of caching

The planets must be in some sort of celestial alignment… for what feels like the first time in months all the Munna Culla Snack Ninjas are out together…
The cache was eventually found after PirateLinda announced there’s another #£%@ over there…
Logs either stamped Munna Culla Snack Ninjas or signed MCSN to save space…

Out for a Friday drive with the crew Peppa, PirateLinda and giraffe18. We haven’t managed a Friday out in some time. So good to get out again. Nice drive down to Nerang. Wring log to start. Peppa finally located the right log. nice hide Signed the log as MCSN. thanks for the find
Today, I joined a few friends with an early hike to Pages Pinnacle. We departed from Neranwood Park to take the steep ascent, and then had an adventurous climb along the razorback before getting treated to great views at that local summit. Following the walk, I took a drive along Mount Nimmel Road, and then walked up further fire tracks whilst finding the *Austin Powers* series. Mudgeeraba Creek rock pool certainly appeared to be enticing to make a dip, as there were a few people about.
It was then a drive along/through Upper Mudgeeraba, and then along a few scenic routes that traversed Advancetown Lake / Hinze Dam. I did pop into Hinze Dam and completed the [Hinze Dam Walk](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/92f34238-e46a-4fb5-8b34-2d6c632e5b83
) Adventure Lab. A few final stops were made in Mount Nathan, before heading home for the day.
After getting out of the car, I was a little confused to which log and the left/right side of it. My initial log search yielded trumps, but went to another log about 5-7 m away, and this soon had me find the cache. I would suggest the "up" side of the log, as left/right can be unclear depending on which side you're looking, although I can see the probable side from approaching the road is the right side. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and it was interesting to see that I'm only the second finder to visit here for 2022, which is unusual for a roadside geocache. Thanks Bristracker for the cache placement, and Snickersallan for its ongoing maintenance.

TFTC Pretty busy road but managed to pull off the road enough to be safe. Nice camouflage.
Maintenance carried out, new cache container and log sheet in place, also moved to a more suitable hiding place.

Staying nearby. On holiday from NZ staying with family in Advance town. Today is only our second day out since we arrived. TFTC
Out for a day of caching fun with Richmond Lad. This was the first cache of the morning. It was quickly located and our names added to the log. TFTC
Out and about caching today down around Hinze Dam and nearby. This was the 1st cache today. As we approached GZ, it didn't take long to find. TFTC Snickersallan.
Checked on this one today and have discovered the fence and cache are gone. Have a new cache in place a few metres further along from the previous GZ, all good to go.

Quick find, simple but who would look there! I don't know why the visits are so infrequent. TFTC
Hint was spot on, and after a quick park the cache was soon found and and re-hidden. Left a butterfly eraser for the next
Just returned from my holiday and catching up on the logs from my fantastic trip. Quick stop as I was working the caches in the vicinity of my accommodation. Signed log. Thanks
Nice find on a quiet road whilst visiting the area. Thanks Bristracker and TFTC
A nice quick find - road was quiet so no muggles to contend with. Thanks bristraker.
My souvenir day cache. Just round the corner from where my cousin was putting me up, nice & handy. TFTC
Smilie #3203
Headed south to pick up a few caches around Hinze Dam & Nerang.
This was #3 of 20 for today.
Yet another nice quick find.
Took our time in retrieving, signing & replacing as there was quite a lot of passing traffic today.
Signed & replaced as found.
All good here.

After "Escaping the G20" with a nice long walk from O'Reilly's to Binna Burra yesterday, on the way home I needed to grab a few caches to make up the numbers in preparation for a big milestone next weekend.
It is mid morning, and the gauge in the car says already it is 38 degrees. No problems at the cache. Though, it is too hot to stand and reflect on the urban sprawl that is slowly consuming the old bushland.
Thanks for the cache, bristracker. Very nice to make your acquaintance last night at the event.

Out and about in the area after doing Stern Up this morning. A nice easy one to find after a very pleasant walk this morning.
So I had made quite a journey down through this area on Thursday and so of course why not make a second trip a couple of days later. Of course taking a slightly different route today as we wanted to avoid the traffic on the highway between Nerang and Mudgeeraba, will they ever get the roadworks finished I wonder.
Anyway pulling up and the GPSr was wanting me a little further into the bush, but as I looked back to check the car was closed, the cache popped out at me. Nice quick find and onwards to the south.

This one was a nice easy find also. Seems to be the theme of the day but there's nothing wrong with that! Interesting the mix of old and new up here isn't it. TFTC. SL.
Beautiful countryside road this one...although the bushland in this area is spoiled by the massive amount of trash that is littered throughout the location I spotted the cache on the ground near the said hiding spot...I imagine it had fallen?...so after signing the log I placed it in the likely holding position. Cool little container. TFTC!
Stopped on the side of the road, spotted the cache from afar and signed the log. We were racing against time now as the clouds and thunder are rolling in. Thanks for the cache bristracker
On my final day of my Queensland caching trip I was able to grab a final 39 caches for the day. Had a great day with a few hard finds and a few walks. Thanks to all the CO's for their placements, and I apologise for the generic logs but I'm so far behind in my logging. Thanks heaps.
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Out and about on the Gold Coast for this run. Caching primarily West of the Motorway, we had the chance to pick up some solved puzzles and a couple of dozen other caches. A good day, with lunch in a plesant park. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches and appologies for the late logs.

No problem getting this on, the traffic wasn't too bad at all. TFTC.

The last day of the August challenge.

While in the area we stopped at this one as I had not found it and a maintenance stop for the CO....after I found it.
Thanks for a great afternoon.

Drove right by it as we were heading the other way down the road and had to find somewhere to park and walk back to GZ. once we were nere the cache and there were no cars coming it was in our hands pretty quickly. TFTC
Not much traffic going past and after the GPS settled down, Loki soon spotted the container. All good here. Thanks bristracker
Up from Melbourne to do some caching with Robgold. Great day to be out today. Quick find . TFTH
A rainy morning to kick off the last day of the working week. Plenty of parking next to GZ for this one, perfect for when it's raining. Grabbed the cache, signed log and was soon on my way.
Cheers bristracker

Out this afternoon on a caching expedition. A quick park and grab but still had time to remember the pioneers.
TFTC and the thoughtful cache description.

After wrestling a log from an Alligator close by, we were on our way to see if we could coax a Bandicoot into releasing it's journal to us. But on the way membsec, Net88 and myself discovered there were so many more caches! Best we stop for just a few
I parked Spangle close to GZ and the other two ladies went off to find the cache. Not sure where they were headed? Good thing I was there and found the cache easily. We signed the log and replaced cache as found.

found this cache whilst out for a glorious day of caching with the gorgeous nyssaflutterby and the amazing membsec. Membsec and I were in another world when nyssaflutterby laughed at us and grabbed the cache. Whoops. Thanks for the cache bristracker
Out and about with the lovely Nyssaflutterby and Nett88 trying to hunt down some animal caches and grabbing a few extra ones too. We parked very close to GZ and having read the hint didn't help me, I was on another planet, but Nyssa was on the ball for this one!!! Cache was in good condition.

Mrs Dannza pulled up the geovehicle and I got out for the retrieval. Found it safely hiding in its little spot. Signed the log in the car and then off for the next one. Another great one to get the numbers up for the day. TFTC bristracker
On this cloudy day we were sick of sitting in the house, our youngest was off playing at a friends place so we decided to hit the road and catch a few smilies. We got to this spot and it was starting to sprinkle so Geohubby got out of the car after I read the description to him and he went off into the vast scrub land, I shook my head wondering what he was doing. He wandered about looking like a dog trying to catch a fly so I called out to him, he looked up and then proceeded to continue to scrub crawl. I rolled my eyes, exited the car, walked to the spot without needing to go bush, grabbed the cache and went to sit back in the car to write my name. He came back all grumpy stating that he was following the GPS and it said 10m that way - I reminded the man (an army guy mind you) that it was very cloudy today and the GPS may not be very accurate and that we needed to read the descriptions. He still argued and I just handed him the cache to put back while I got ready to drive to the next one. Oh this afternoon is starting out well.

Out for some caching whilst the rain has stopped. Mr. Herbz pulled up alongside GZ and Mrs Herbz jumped out and grabbed it. TFTC Bristracker.
Spotted as we parked at gz, waited for cars to pass before the grab. Thanks Bristracker.
