###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
The cache will be disabled and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated in a Note log here, when action will be taken
**If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then we can only assume that the cache has been abandoned and, regrettably, it will be archived.**
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

Tassie Trip Day 199 - We decided to go for a little drive today with a trip to Thomahawk and collect what we could along the way. This was a nice trip for a great day of caching and a great little trip into the nearby bush.
Arriving at the GZ a short search revealed the cache and we once again were on our way this was a great spot to stop and cache
Thanks GabMil for bring us here.

Some muggle workmen in the park today but managed to make a discrete grab.

Found it, what a beautiful flat day and it’s clear enough for us to see the Furneaux group of islands.
Poked the hike once and didn't see I 4th but went back for a second look and came up trumps
Had to wait for a fellow and his little girl to leave. What a great little spot. Wonder if the people in the shacks thought I was a bit weird. Thanks for bringing me here.
Taking a very circuitous route from Hobart to Stanley found us at this very scenic spot, and of course, another cache. A nice easy find. Thanks for putting a cache here GabMil.
Today we are enjoying the Bay of Fires coastline before travelling along the north coast back to Georgetown. We have loved the variety of coastal and inland scenery. The playground was deserted today. Thanks for the cache.
A nice easy find and with not a muggle in site - I think the strong winds would put anyone off using the park. TFTC GabMil
Found in the company of Toolbox and VK7HCH, on our 4 day NE trip.
Wandered back and forth until Toolbox delved in deeper.
Thanks for the cache!

Staying in Bridport for a few days so that we can explore this part of Tassie, which we haven’t been to before. We won’t be over to get all the caches we want to this time due to time and tide!!! But we are discovering some really interesting places!! It was getting late but this one was a quick find.

Found this one super fast, which was great for us on a Christmas morning drive by tftc
Almost done and we stopped for this one and after a quick search this one was in hand so we all signed it before the big kids played.
Thanks for the cache.
This trip to the North-east all started thanks to a facebook post by DaryVafder saying she had done Tunnel for Tin and after looking at the listing said that I would add it to my to-do list, that was on the 12th off August, not long after the idea of a NE trip was discussed with Goose of GooseandEgg and before long the Egg and Mrs stainless-steel-rat were on-board too, with the idea of a weekend away sounding like it fit the bill quite nicely.
While chatting about it an old Tassie caching buddy 1TOOLMAN who has now moved back to the big island (he couldn’t hack it down here) chipped in saying would we mind if he joined us. So it went from idle chatter to flight and hotel bookings in no time at all, we had a couple of minor changes of plans due to flight times and when people could get away from work on the Friday but other than that we were all set.
Myself and Mrs SSRat had the Friday off so we drove up via the North-east coast to collect a few caches we needed and were the first to arrive at our chosen accommodation Anabels of Scottsdale at just after 6pm and we had the fridge full by 20 past
GooseandEgg were picking 1TOOLMAN up from the airport but it was delayed, so by the time they got to the hotel it was almost 11pm and we had already eaten and Mrs SSRat was asleep, so it was a quick catch up over a couple of beers and off to bed to be fresh in the morning for the start of our North-east caching fun.
On the Sunday Tazscout joined us at our hotel and for the day making the searching team even stronger.
All up over the long weekend we found 28 GC and 17 GCA caches making a total of 45 all up.

Our kids would have loved this little park but didn't bring them so after a quick find of the cache the 'big kids' had a play instead. The slide was a little tight for me but I managed to get down it with a shove. One more cache after this one then it's time to head for home.
Travelling with TazScout, Stainless steel rat, Mrs SSR and of course the egg was with me too.
Thanks for another cache here GabMil

Found on a group day out, despite 1Toolmans log the TazScout team was there too.
Cool little park and certain members of our group couldn't resist stopping for a play.

Our last day of 2016 was spent on the beach at Tomahawk and finished with a bbq and cache at this spot. A relatively easy find. Cache is in good dry condition. SL TFTC

While on my trip around Tasmania looking for caches, this one was found.
An early morning start after staying at the Tomahawk caravan park, I was now into my last day and now I'm headed for Devonport and the boat ride back home.
Before leaving this little town out in the never never, I thought that I should find the caches around here.
I headed to this one first and it was a good thing that it was this time of the day as no one was about, I started searching looking for a small cache, after checking the hint I looked at everyone of them and when nothing was spotted I started again, this time a bit more and eventually a micro size container was found.
**Thanks to GabMil for placing this cache.**
Staying a shack with a group of friends for the weekend - and grabbed this on my way out of Tomahawk. Nice spot - no muggles in sight today. TFTC
Staying at a friends shack. Weather was nice for this time of year so dcided to go for a walk and find a few caches. Love this type of cache. Thanks for the cache.
A deserted playground (being too windy, plus a school day no doubt helped) resulted in an easy find. 'Twas a good thing that the road was also deserted as two cache hunters on hands & knees in a carpark would look a little odd. In hindsight we should have parked the campervan closer for shelter from the ever present wind & the non-existant traffic. TFTC GabMil.
The Plan: Wake early, pack up the van, head towards Tomahawk from Waterhouse Bay, low tide is about 10.30 am this morning. Arrive early and walk out to the island.
What actually happened: Woke early (around 6.30 am) turned on the heater in the van, went back to sleep, woke at 8.40 am. Low tide is about 10.30 am this morning. Left Waterhouse Bay around 10.00 am arrived Tomahawk around midday. Oh well, there goes that Hawkisle.
So while we were in town, checked out all the other caches in town, found all four of them. This one was another easy find.
Thanks GabMilfor this cache.

Nice day for a drive down the coast and find a few caches in the area. Quickly found the cache after the muggles left the playground.

Travelling around Australia, from our home in WA.
Another lovely day with sunshine! Tasmania is certainly throwing out the welcome sunshine this week.
Today we headed out towards the coast. Beautiful day.

Another days touring and what better way of checking out an area than by spending it caching. As per previous logs this one had gone MIA so we replaced it and cheekily claimed a find. It is now a film container with a log.
Thanks GabMil

Hi All,
Will check on this one March Long Weekend and replace if neccessary.

Always at this park and checked on the cache today but it appears to of been muggled. No where to be found !!
A quick find after the family using the play equipment moved on. This type of cache is much easier when you have the right kind of accessory but didn't have any of the grandkids with us today. TFTC
Please note this cache has gone missing BUT has now been replaced.
Apologies to all who tried to find it when it wasn't there, but this weekend was the first chance I have had to check and replace the cache.
Happy Hunting.

Had a look under every rock but no luck. Pretty sure it is muggled so probably CO could have a look.
We think this is definitely gone. We looked under every rock that is here and there is nothing. Needs checking.
Well, having said previously that Tomahawk was deserted today, we parked within 6m of this cache to find that there were muggle locals sitting outside their residence across the grass with nothing better to do than wonder what we we up to. Fearing we were a little conspicuous, we looked fairlynquickly in what we thought were the obvious places, but didn't come up with the cache.
Last cache of the day before talking to a local cattle farmer and then setting up camp near the local lagoon

#166 - 17:00; Another quick grab on the drive through town. Nice area for the kids. TFTC
Grabbed on our second visit after muggles left. Cache was quickly found before heading off on our Hawke Island adventure, TFTC GabMil
#409 Very tricky as a little girl was playing on the equipment only 3 metres away and facing us. We had to resort to the "problem with shoe" exercise to enable the replacement. We strongly suggest the GX be moved, perhaps across the road? This is a popular play area for mugglettes.
Found this cache while on our way to the east coast for a few days. Had some beautiful fresh fish and chips that we bought from the caravan park. Recommend to any one.
It was out on the ground when we found it, so we hope we have put it back in the right place.
Thanks GabMil for the hide.

A very wet cold front was coming in from the west and it had been raining steadily for at least four hours. The problem was that we needed both a GA and a GC cache today for our calendar. The best solution was to head east. Well that was the theory at least. At our first cache for the day it was pouring. Thankfully it had stopped raining by the time we reached the second cache. And, low and behold, the sun was shining as we arrived to look for two caches at Tomahawk. This cache was a quick find - very quick in fact as it saw it from the car as we drove into the carpark. The cache and contents were in good condition. Also, as it had been raining and it wasn't the holiday season, no muggles!! TFTC GabMil
Woo Hoo *FTF* @ 11:28 hrs. Been watching this for a while, so today I fired up the Geo Harley and tootled down to Tomahawk. Launceston was cloudy and damp, but down the river it lifted and I had great trip. I parked at the play ground, and walked to GZ. but which rock???? T.F.T.C. T.N.L.N.
