Found last month, thanks for the cache. Phone was zeroing in on a spot I wasn't happy with; after a few minutes of searching I moved elsewhere so I could stand up, and rechecked the cache page and recent activity for any clues. Well, somebody had found it since I left home that morning, I was curious if it was the car I'd parked almost beside. So, with renewed determination/stubbornness, I went for another go and ignored my phone a lot more; it took several minutes of effort to successfully find the well-maintained cache and add my stamp. Legs and hands hated me for a while after the find; I suspect I may have to add gloves to standard list of my geocaching equipment. And, sure enough, the previous cacher to find it was the other car I'd parked almost beside, so we chatted for a few minutes before going our separate ways. Attached photo from my car shortly before leaving.
We have just recently moved around the corner from this cache, decided to head to the Hurstbridge market this morning but not without a stop for a few caches. TFTC!

29th February 2024 , Happy Leap Day everyone! Those of us who could not make the Leap Day Mega in South Australia had to resort to a Plan B.Many months prior to the event, dalerious and I had plans for zipping over to SA, but as it is at times, life has a plan of it's own, and occasionally it doesn't marry up with yours! So another plan was hatched and the golden egg that ensued was for a trip to Melbourne to attend an event, and gather under our wings as many different cache types and sizes we could, in the time we were given, hoping that there is a challenge cache out there that stipulates a cacher log as many different cache types on that auspicious day.We truly had a wonderful day which started very early at 0400, and I can tell you that by the time we got to the caf, I was well and truly ready for a coffee. Sitting there with all our fellow cachers and friends was the tonic I needed after a gruelling drive once we entered the outer city limits. We are grateful to Long John Silva for holding an event on this day, and are thankful that there were enough "different" caches and sizes within cooee of our blue line leading back home.So onto this cache: I don't mind visiting or acting like a Troll. Thank you .
A sudden desire for letterboxes and ice cream prompted an evening jaunt up north with buhfuhguh to add to our tally of Philipp caches (the ever-desirable things) and tick off another waypoint of Dairy Boy's extravaganza. It was quite dark by this point and the spiders were out to play!buhfuhguh had his head torch and was game enough to head under where, once in the right position, the cache was sighted and extracted for our perusal out from under the bridge.Luckily neither of us ended up in the ditch! Thanks to for this letterbox!
16 January 2024 9:17pmOut and about today in a letterboxy mood and hearing that the views of the sunset from around here were phenomenal I decided that I was gonna head up tonight and invited brain for the journey as well. Being rather keen on smashing out some Phillip caches as well didn't seem like a bad little addition to the day either. Was a great drive all in all and can't wait to be back in the area soon. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure - Geo
Couldnt find this one. Troll caches are not my favourite type - dirty, blackberry vines, slippery banks
This bridge is as old as me. Just saw the plaque as I went over it. Great letterbox here and live the stamp that was made for it. Brilliant TFTC
The Whittlesea Mega has been on and off for a long time due to that rotten COVID-19. The sad part is that due to MND I really think this will be my last Mega as I am in the area for a week thanks to my two great SA friends who travelled from SA visiting Ballarat for a couple of days and then moved down to Geelong only to pick me up and we are staying in Craigieburn for a week and then they are taking me back to Geelong. It’s generosity like that Geocaching folk are renowned for, plus all the help that I have received in the past few days which I will be forever grateful.
This guy was found , signed on the 20th Novmber. Thanks ° for all you have done to make this sport what it is today.

Not really one for crawling in spiderwebs but if it meant we got that yellow smiley I was all for it. What a perfect place for the cache!! Thanks °
Merry Christmas! I’ve found some of the COs hides and they have been consistently tricky. This one wasn’t. It was in excellent condition though. Thanks Philipp for giving me something unexpected.
Glad to have found this hide here today.
I drive around here every few weeks for work and only today found the time to stop and explore the area.
Cache tucked away nicely.

Found and signed dsd or darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys. Thanks for the cache and the Adventure.
The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) crew went on a MEGA adventure. We all managed to get a 5 day weekend so we made the most of our trip out of state. Our main targets were old caches, different LGA's and those that have lots of favourite points plus of course the MEGA and all the caches put out in celebration
Thanks to all those who have placed, hosted events and kept all the other caches alive for us to find.
All caches signed as JAMS.

Target cache because this D/T in a letterbox in S.A. doesn't exist. Took the detour to this cache. After the current floods i was wondering if it was going to be there. It was and dry. That creek/river is really flowing at the moment and over it's banks. quick find and nice container.
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was to Victoria for the Whittlesea Mega. We left thrusday morning and came back monday We targeted as many Vic LGA's on the journey there and back plus trying to get some extra's around the " melbourne CBD ". A few letterbox D/T's that don't exist in S.A. where stamped and selected D/T's in victoria for our fizzy grid only using victorian caches ( 11 to go before this trip for me ). Where possible old caches where targeted in the missing LGA's ( 2000 or 2001 ) or caches with high fav points. This filled holes in some of the teams Jasper grids. The recent rains caused localized floods that caused a few road closures that slowed our team down and meant we didn't get all LGA's targeted, we where also slowed down by the parks that have turned in to marshes with the rain. Also one tree was climbed which was a record low for the team. It was good to catch up with some teams we have seen for many months or a year or two at the mega and meet some new teams as well.

The JAMS team (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) have hit the road again, this time heading to the Wittlesea Mega event caching along the way. We had various goals that we wanted to achieve on our 5 day road trip concentrating on old caches, LGA's, unusual D/T combinations and caches with lots of favourite points. [^]
We covered a lot of ground and had a fun time touring around Victoria. We also really enjoyed the Mega and caught up with lots of people, some we hadn't seen for quite a while. There was plenty to see and do at the showgrounds and we managed to fit events, labs and the maze while we were there before heading out to find more caches.
We were lucky with the weather, which turned out to be much nicer than what was forecast and we were able to get out there and find the caches we had targeted. All in all a great 5 days.
Today we stayed around Whittlesea finding as many of the TWC caches as we could and others we came across on our travels.
Thanks for the cache.

**This Cache:**
Nice to be able to find a cache hidden by "º" that isn't near impossible to find for the passing tourist without an extensive hike or TTC
Enjoyed this letterbox and the other one up the road immensely! Excellent cache containers! Thank you!
*Signed the log as **AB!** for "Adventure Boys! which for this cache consisted of Loci612, DARKSIDEDAN, injuryman and sebass19*

**Today:**
Today was a fairly chill day! We were all pretty shattered, myself especially from several days of hiking, walking and long days of fast paced caching! Everyone was still keen to get out there though, so we put 2 people in each car and just casually agreed who was following who and finding random caches here and there. I enjoyed following behind DSD as it meant I could switch off my brain a little bit and just park behind him each time, jump out for another cache, and keep going! Didn't have to think about anything too much and just enjoy the serenity of exploring!
We started the day at 7am but finished by 4:30pm! By far the earliest day all week, and then just relaxed in the accomodation, had a chat and ate some food! We also managed to attend the Farewell event near the end of the day before making sure we had cleaned up any final local caches and heading to the accomodation as we were leaving the next morning!
Thanks to all the CO's

Whittlesea Event trip. Day 7. Caching today with bushfire and brisal5.
There was a bug troll or two down there today.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 7: Mega Day. Do the gadgets and hit the trails.
Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way to a Mega event. We made a detour via Geelong and picked up Bushfire. It had been three years since we last all cached together. [^] Many laughs with friends at events and on the trails, many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs.
***Thanks º for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Having a great time finding an array of different types and D/T rated caches.
Thanks to all the CO’s for hiding your particular cache.
Day 1 of the mega and it’s a hive of activity, gadgets, puzzle room, the maze and a plethora of caches around town. Thanks to all the volunteers who’ve made this a lot of fun.
My apologies for the boiler style log.

Off for a day of geocaching with the destination of the Whittlesea puzzles and a few multi Way Points of some Multicaches I'm working on and what ever other caches caught my eye while passing thru. Pretty happy with 42 finds, with only 1 DNF.
Sometimes it's not easy being tall and this was one of the times. Clearly it's a short Troll who lives here, but it was good to find a nice ammo can.
Thanks for the cache º

Linton's bridge was built around 1970 and I certainly didn't consider it "small" at that time. It replaced the wooden bridge that was slightly downstream from the new. The trees have grown muchly over the last 50 years over the old road alignment that ran close to the fence.
The earlier bridge was probably built about the same time as Bourke's Bridge in 1914. My paternal Grandmother Isabella Amelia Laidlay (nee Apted) was one of the first people to use Burke's bridge on the way to her wedding in 1914. Apteds are normally associated with their orchard on the Strathewen Road Arthurs Creek but they only bought that land in 1912 and moved progressively from Nutfield to "Glen Ard". This explains how Isabella Apted met John Laidlay as he lived at "Hazel Dale" in Chapel Lane (near Laidlay's bridge), where Mark lived for many years as well. Prior to the construction of these bridges the road from Hurstbridge did not cross the Arthurs Creek after the Monash bridge. It left Boyds Road and travelled through a couple of properties (Verso and Sutherland) and ended at what is now the intersection of Doctors Gully Road and Bannons Lane forming a cross-road, the earthworks and some fence lines can still be seen.
This is our 600th cache so you get a big story. TFTC.

Out with the geokid picking up a few caches around Nutfield. We haven't been out this way before and it was nice to see some country side. At GZ the terrain was very steep so I had my heart in my mouth worrying that the geokid would fall over or tumble backwards into the creek. Thankfully we were able to sign the log, make a swap and put everything back where we found it without any issues. Geokid has now told me how much he loves caches hidden under bridges. Swapped a toy car for a pack of colouring pencils. Thanks º for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find today.

Amazing that it hasn’t been found since May and now two finds in one day. Might be because everyone can go 15km from today?
Awesome spot for a chache, been coming here for years and never knew this was under my nose!
Apologies for the late log, we had such a big weekend of caching with so many finds that I'm still trying to catch up! But hey, better late than never right?! I was on a caching weekend with Leeyah29 who had only just started her caching adventure this weekend! She got her very first cache and ended up with nearly 50 under her belt by the time we headed home, not bad for a beginner! She pretty much found most of them and this one was no exception, in fact when we got there I had been so excited to show her what a letterbox cache was that I didn't actually check the stat's mainly the terrain rating so when we got there of course it was easy to work out WHERE the cache was, unfortunately it wasn't quite as easy to work out HOW to reach it!! I'm not very mobile so getting to it myself was definitely out of the question and after realising what it would take to get to it Leeyah29 was not sure she could do it and very begrudgingly decided it would be too hard and we would just have to give up but as we headed back to the car she just couldn't stop thinking about how much she didn't want to go without getting it and after wrestling with it in her mind for a while she finally decided that she was going for it! And after some makeshift knee protection she was making her way to the cache! Luckily she made it without slipping or dropping the cache!! Not only did she thoroughly enjoy getting this one but she was also really proud of herself for being able to do it and so she should be! This wasn't super easy to get to but she did it anyway and she was so happy for the rest of the day because this! This was so much fun for both of us to do, not bad for her very first letterbox cache! I made sure that we added several nice little trinkets to the cache and I stamped my book and we both stamped that cache book as well!! TFTC! A very well deserved FB for this one from me!
Sent the husband for this one while I tried to divert the youngest geokid from picking up poo
Out for a scenic drive to get out of the house and set our course to this cache. A good one! The geokids enjoyed the swaps. TFTC
Out to enjoy the sunshine within my 25kms. Was a great day to walk in some parks that have been out of my reach for a long time.
I wasn’t sure if I had arrived on the right side but it soon became clear. Was fun to find and cache is in perfect condition.

Christmas decorations were being placed and adorned the bridge on the way over. A perfect time of year to find this cache. A little scrambling and cache was in hand. Tftc
A great spot. And beware the crawlies! Put a trackable into the cache to travel on.
Out and about today, found this one with queenasha, muggle Rob and my 3 year old son. Beautiful little spot. Sad to see the hearts on the bridge isn't a thing anymore or not that I saw anyway. Thanx heaps for the placement.
Took a while... but we got it in the end. Great find and a great hiding spot!
This cache was found whilst out and about today after liberating Dreamy Bear earlier in the day a for some reason he wants to visit bridges. Not sure why, however dreamys wish was once again fulfilled, so after doing the usual troll thing cache was found book postmark stamped and inspectorrexteam stamped also. Once again TFTC from the inspectorrexteam
Found @16:50 after a day of Motorex and Mother’s Day activities. A quick find with the help of my reluctant Muggle boyfriend who claimed he would be very angry with me if we died under the bridge. Left a pencil pack, took nothing. TFTC!
Having sadly failed to get a rope up the COs nearby tree climbing Challenge cache we moved on to search for this one, which after an hour of frustration at the last cache was thankfully a quick find - phew! We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Whilst out on a caching quest today, we passed this cache and I convinced my friends to stop and visit. It was tough on the hands to get to the cache, but get it I did. Thanks, º. 1:51 pm
Had a spare day so I picked an area on the map that I have not visited before.
Visited Yan Yean Reservoir Park for a walk then went off in search of a few caches in the general area.
A nice little story about the area.
Made my way to the cache and thought I must organise a stamp for my self one day.
I have a few bridges in my travels today.

I swung by here after finding "Lesca" nearby. This one was a much shorter walk with slipscache. I have only found letterbox previously and I don't think it had the stamp. So after searching in the likely spot, the discovery was made. The cache was in excellent condition and a fun find. I didn't look out for the wishes made by the children and hanging from the bridge but I think that is very cute. I stamped the logbook and signed it - I had to use the stamp for the fun of it. Thanks for the thought and effort that went into this cache!
I was in the area to finish a series of caches and thought an extra one or two would be great. TFTC. Sorry I have not got a stamp.

This took a bit of walking around then a bit of walking up there. Nice and easy to find. I love these stamps
After completing a nearby series, we continued on finding hides in this beautiful area. With a few solved puzzles to collect, we also grabbed a collection of multis and trads. Thanks to all of the CO's for your efforts in placing these caches. Such a picturesque area to be caching, a very enjoyable day and night indeed.

The space challenge was on and we were both going okay for points but a mini road trip with Spiffy- seemed like fun. So we teamed up for some caching. A quick scramble and systematic checking for the find. TB taken. Thanks to º for placing this cache.

After completing the planetary challenge we headed to a couple of your letterbox caches because I need a lot more for aHomburg's annoying challenge cache that need lots of them before I can log it.
This one was easy because Fleabag- was up and under there like a rat up a drainpipe which is about time considering how many times I got out of the car on the rocket caches while he sat and did nothing.
Thanks º for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found with Cybergran V and locus cache on a very busy day hunting down the "Space Endeavor" series for the swag of souvenirs on offer and they were all logged very promptly before time ran out.
Logging of the handfull of trads gathered on the to and fro however (including this one) may have been overlooked in my rush for caching glory.
It was 4:20pm on our way home when we passed by here. Plenty of time to find another ° cache.
TFTC Philipp. In fact thanks for the whole day of play with your Space Endeavor series.

As I'd started off being 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so.
Cybergran V and dalerious had planned to spend the day finding the Space Endeavour series and they kindly asked me to join them Rex came too and had his first full day out geocaching [^]
By days end which was accompanied by thunder and lighning, I had found 46 caches and had 2 DNFs. We had rain and were dripping wet, we had glitter and were sparkly, we had lunch at St Andrews where Rex was not allowed into the market because apparently he is a dog We also found the whole Space Endeavour series and by doing so have apparently earned enough points in the Planetary Pursuit geocaching promotion to obtain all of the souvenirs
dalerious and Rex loved the scramble to get the cache

After pursuing some points on the nearby Space Endeavour series (I think it's going to be called that ) I was still in pursuit mode.
Although it's March, after 35 JFTFs it does feel a little like Christmas around here today!
Cache found easily after a little crawl to an interesting location.
Thanks and cheers from ThePacman.

My first cache of 2018 and what a great one to start the year with! A good crawl through a spider webbed confined space! I left a stretchy lizard and a trackable. Happy New Year! Thanks for placing! FP awarded.
We couldn't not get this cache, being the right time of the year and all.
BendSinister said "is it there?", so I clambered a little closer and there it was! I enjoyed stamping my notebook with the enclosed Christmas pudding stamp, and as we were leaving I realised I was eating my mixed nuts, in Nutfield, haha!
Thank you

I know I've seen the 1947 *Bush Christmas* with Chips Rafferty. Not entirely sure I even knew there was a 1983 version! The things one learns from geocaching!
Jimbo_80 and I were passing relatively close and simply had to stop by for some inky good times. Being December and all. Though I'm sad to see that I overlooked this wish business. Thanks once more º !

I wanted to find a letterbox hybrid today, to complete a sweep of 12 cache types today... so thought this would be a nice one to finish off with.
As it was a lil late, had to step lightly to avoid aggravating the yapper up the road.
Nice hide, cache has a few gouges where it has slid down the concrete a few times. lol

Thanks

Very conveniently, the Vic mega coincides with Show Weekend again, and popping over for 3 days is definitely worthwhile compared to just two. After spending ages in the supermarket, i decided to have a leisurely drive around and find a few to keep myself entertained. The weather was a bit interesting, and I did encounter a major storm along the way, but not a drop as I was caching! After a bit of search, I spotted the cache, and after a bit of clamber, it was in hand - getting it back was a bit more difficult! Great fun, TFTC!!
TFTC, out caching today with ms-raisin, love the tree! Bit of a clamber in to get the cache but nice hide.
Plowfive love a letter box cache, and we have our own stamp to log with and our own notebook just to collect letter box stamps.
We all trampled in , but Luke managed to trip on some grass and cop a graze. So while he and the girls went back to fix it, Will and I went to retrieve the cache.
We exchanged stamps and then left our recently minted plowfive pathtag for the next finder.
Thanks for this cache ° (I had to google how to do that!), it's a lovely little spot. I used to enjoy driving these back roads pre kids and family. Love these old bridges although this one is quite modern compared to the next couple we see. Thanks for bringing us here.

What a cool cache! What a scramble, but so worth it. Thanks for the adventure, that's a favourite point from me
Got this one while in the company of the McLookers, thanks for the letterbox cache.
A scheduling error on my behalf meant I had babysitting organised but no longer anything to do, so with a day free to myself I decided to pick a random spot on the geocaching map where I haven't cached before. I spotted the walk along the aqueduct that looked interesting so headed out in this direction to sample some of the hides. It was a good choice because the quality of all the hides I found was very high and the trail was a very interesting walk with some great views along the way.
I had my heart in my mouth a little bit as I made the scramble across to GZ and was glad when I was back out the other side. Thanks for the cache Phillip.

When I came up to the Clean up the creek day, a bit early, as it was 24 hours bit early I came out this way to find a few caches, and this was one of them, Thanks for bringing me back to this parking area, have enjoyed many BBQs in here during my working days, a lovely quiet area, with not much noise Thanks Phillipp for this hide, and also for it being my first Letter Box, the stamp has become unstuck from the handle, just needs a bit of glue to fix it, which is one thing I don't have in the ute, also have taken turtle TB for some travels
A quick p 'n' g on the way past with +Wife.
A nice day for a drive on the fringe.
Dropped Simon the Turtle TB.
Thanks for the cache Philipp.

A weekend caching run with n0w0rries and our Geomutts.
Well I spotted something shiny in the tree.
There it is! But, ... no. Nicely hidden.
Next time we will visit Lesca too. I miss Woody, he's not up the Yarra Valley any more and the drive out to Loch takes so much longer. He's in good hands with my friend Joedi. She treats him like a part of the family.
Visited some TBs. Thanks for the cache º

Heading home from Diamond Creek after the weekend so took the opportunity to grab a few caches on this lovely day. Decorations for Christmas in July. A quick find was had.
Thanks º for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Out and about with Geokid2 and her friend CatCat10. The geokids really enjoyed finding this one. Sent a photo to Catcat10s mum of her child under a bridge to demonstrate how good I am of looking after her child. The geokids made the find by themselves and used their muscles to extract the cache. This is a lovely area. TFTC.
