Today I headed out to Dural, for the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road, but I was also keen to target some high Favourite point awarded caches to boost our Cache Carnival points tally. Stopped for a few quick “park & grab” Traditionals on the way out, then after the T&T sale & BBQ it was over to Dural & Kenthurst for a few highly Favourited Multis, and then headed home via Baulkham Hills to target a cluster of highly Favourited caches in the Crestwood area, before finishing the day at North Rocks with Australia’s second oldest active geocache. A total of 20 finds, and 1 DNF, for the day.
It appears that this one was Disabled during the day, so I had no idea of it's issues until I turned up to GZ for a look. Having found nothing but a short piece of white conduit in a tree stump, I took a look at the logs and saw the string of DNF's, and so it's also a DNF from me today. TFTH anyway Team Sunderland.

Out today with Trodectus to do a Carnival trip, #3 for today. Parked near GZ and walked to the cache, after a fair bit of searching the cache was unable to be located, we think we may have found a piece of the cache.
Was here with Coybear2000. After some time searching, C read a few previous logs that suggested it wasn't here anymore. We hope to return once it's replaced.
Out on a cache run around Glendenning/Doonside, Prospect and Seven Hills in order to find some caches with higher FPs for the Cache Carnival currently underway. After a bit of a none event at Western Sydney Parklands with 1 find and 5 DNFs we moved on to Prospect and made two finds before driving over to Seven Hills where we made two more find and another DNF. Parking in nearby Tarana Crescent we walked over to GZ.
A bit disappointing with this one, should of checked the logs beforehand. Found where the cache should be, but nothing there. As previous finders have noted over the last year, it is gone.
The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football, England since 1872, Herr Bert the Photoman, TB Gangaman, The Rock, Purply, teamMerlin's GIFF 2018 Geocoin Companion Tag, Kostka Donalda Entericha, Dino-run green, Travel Kitten Geocoin, Bloodhound

Could not. Think I found the hiding spot but the cache was not anywhere to be found.
Found this one a few years ago. Passing today and checked. It's gone! This area is much more open now.
Can anyone confirm this is still here? I saw CO day don't remove cache from stump but checked all and nothing
Had to circle back as we were on the wrong side of the creek. Cache spotted well before GZ as there was no camo.
Great cache - didn't find any paper in the log container once I'd extracted it. Favourite point from me.
I headed out today with the intention of finding "numbers", but I like getting the numbers that come we good quality hides and offer a nice walk plus discovering somewhere new. Decided to head for The Hills to keep me busy today. (11/17 finds).
I found myself on the wrong side of the creek and wondered if it would be possible to cross or if I'd have to go the long way round. As there hasn't been much rain, the creek was just a trickle and allowed for an easy step over to the other side. Headed up the hill and I could see the container somewhat exposed. It wasn't until I opened it that I realised why it was in the position it was. Excellent execution of this puzzle. Thanks Team Sunderland.

That is a very cool cache !
I checked a few large camo items before spotting the correct one. I love a field puzzle and I’ve never seen one like this before !

A short walk in the Crestwood Reserve with the geodog, picking up a few caches on the way.
The cache was quickly spotted, but getting the log sheet in my hand took a bit longer. Luckily it was not too difficult and after a bit of twisting and pulling I could add my name to the sheet.
Thanks for the cache!

Easy to see why this has got so many favourite points! What an awesome camo! Found easily with Flutterby Squishy cache #195 TFTC favourite point from me!
Rodney 1210 did the jiggle n twist. Such a cool cache. Love it. Added paper to the log book. Tftc. Fave point for sure.
I was excited to get to this cache currently sitting at 80something FPs! We spotted it from quite a distance and at first wondered what was so special..

We headed off around this beautiful parkland grabbing a few caches.
Located this one pretty quickly. Then it was a fun field puzzle, and Log was signed.

#3279 - Just a few minutes to find on a geo-biking day. Bit of an unpleasant smell around here. Did I step in anything?? Haven't come across such a complex cut as this one. Definitely worthy of a favourite point. Many thanks to the cache owner **Team Sunderland** for establishing and maintaining 'nother local cache with quite a bit of effort in construction..
Writing up the logs after a very enjoyable days geocaching with geoson morty8888. Another quality fun homemade cache by Team Sutherland. TFTC team.
Arrived here after the prequel, ROTMachine 2. Lovely cache with a bit of twisting. TFTC.
Found with TOMBI!, on one of our trips down to Sydney to get some high rated caches, building up to an adventurer challenge cache. We stopped at this nice cache. TFTC
Saw that a bunch of superheroes descended on North Sydney, so BillHill531 and I spent a day meeting as many of them as we could. Our journeys took us from Hornsby to Glenhaven then Pennant Hills, before heading home for another cache. We found all the heroes we were looking for as well as a few rare D/T combinations and even a new placed date.
This was our ninth stop. This was the rare placed date for me. And it was a good one too!
Thanks for the fun, well constructed cache!

A good inventive cache which was quickly solved and the log soon signed. Really enjoy finding ones like this, TFTC.
Nice and easy find for my 600th find. Wanted it to be something special glad we chose this as it's a bit different to the rest
Quick find. Not sure if it is as well hidden as it once was. Interesting construction- haven't seen anything like this before- Bit of a jiggle and a twist and the cache soon emerged. Thanks for the creative cache.
Out on a first day of 2017 geocaching expedition. This cache drew us to the area due to its many favourite points and it's going to get another one from us. Very thoughtful and creative construction. Hardly a muggle in sight today. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
#891 Fifth of nine finds on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon's caching around Baulkham Hills and the Heritage Track. Nice find after a short search. Loved the container. Very clever. TFTC
We managed to park very close to this cache and sighted the camo before actually getting to GZ. Thankfully it was easy to work out which way to manipulate the whole thing so the log container could be extracted. Signed and replaced the log and operated the whole system in reverse before replacing in the appropriate place. This is certainly different, as we have not found one like it before. Thank you to Team Sunderland for an interesting and fun cache that gets a favourite point from us for the imaginative presentation and the construction effort.
Parked on the street and then walked to GZ. The well constructed container was found. Had no problems in finding the log to sign. The cache and container were replaced back as found. Great container favourite point given. Thank you Team Sunderland for an interesting cache.
Found at 2:03pm.
I was looking forward to grabbing this one given its high number of favourites. I wasn't disappointed and soon had 'cache in hand'. Probably not quite in hand but I found the damn thing. Impressive!
FP awarded for such a great, creative hide. Signed log, TFTC Team Sunderland

Wow, such a genuinely cool cache! Well done! So excited to find and get to this one after venturing across the creek (the hard to get there!)
Fantastic cache! Never seen one like it before! Definitely gets a favourite point from me! TFTC!
What a fantastic gadget. Thanks for going to so much effort to make this one, it was very entertaining. A favourite from me TFTC
My son's favourite discovery of the day. He really likes the name and thinks it is very fitting for the cache. We found it partially exposed - no camo. Put it back and camouflaged with material available. TNLN TFTC
Very cool cache! Didn't have a problem with either the find or retrieving the log and the cache was soon back in place. TFTC!
An excellent cache indeed, great thought went into this one.

Found about a week ago with my homies Alana and Andy, and forgot to log until now.
Very cool container. There was a camo'd spider guarding the cache but he accepted our presence and allowed us to log the find. TFTC!

Saw the favourites on this one so had to come - not frequently in the area.
GZ and the outer container were found quickly. A short time later we had the log.
A very interesting cache Team Sunderland, will give a favourite for something a bit different.
Log is full and needs replacing. Container is in good condition.

This was the only find for the day. Geomum has been enjoying the geocaching lately so we picked another easy one nearby to fulfil the daily requirement. As usual, I navigated whilst she drove. We parked in a street around the corner from GZ and walked back. Sure enough, as we rounded the bush, I saw the camo. Geomum went to inspect as I searched for a pen. I found one in my bag as Geomum brought the cache out. It took a few attempts but we finally managed to retrieve the log. Unfortunately, the pen decided to give up and we didn't have a replacement. This meant coming back a few days later to finally sign the log. Brilliant camo. TFTC.

No troubles with this cache. Very well done with it. Quite an enjoyable find. TFTC
Found in an obvious location. The requirements were completed as a schoolboy walked by up top. I hope there are no police reports of strange men lurking in bushes today. TFTC
Decided to do a spot of caching on our holiday in Sydney. Great hide, loved the cache! Took TB to travel back to Tassie with us.

What a great cache. I have seen similar on the Internet but never in real life. It was an easy find, but getting the cache out took a little longer. Master Q and I had heaps of fun. Definitely worth a favourite point.

Streak day #220 - This morning started with a peaceful catch up over brunch with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while. We decided to head up to Palm Beach for something different. It's only a half hour drive from home, so easy enough. We had a good chat as we looked out over the serene Pittwater side of the peninsula. I considered grabbing a cache on my way home, but I decided to save my daily cache for when I was a little further from home. As the afternoon rolled around it was time to head out to SIA for the next clash in then International Cup hockey series. I have had so much fun helping out. My sister drove this time and I managed to convince her to stop along the way so I could grab a quick cache. This one wasn't too far away from where we needed to go and had been found recently. I was intrigued by all the favourite points too. While my sister waited in the car nearby I wander over to the GZ. It didn't take long before I worked out where the hide was going to be. I thought it seemed a little plain to have earned so many points. But I quickly realised the error of my ways. Upon opening the cache I was rather intrigued by the cleverness of the method of extraction. It was the first cache I had seen like this. I even took a picture to show my family later on. I signed the log then managed to get the cache back into it's camo before heading back to the car. We had to hurry or we would be late. TFTC. Definitely earned another favourite point from me.
My first cashe with my new Explorist 510. It was nearly its last. My old 400 out performed it. Found I bought a Dick Smith dog that MiTac couldn't fix. Looking forward to the replacement. The cashe is very secure TS.
Did a search by favourite points and noticed this one again. It was roughly on the way home so called in for a look. Yep, definitely worthy of one of mine too.
Thanks and cheers from Browngang

A nice sunny day, so headed out to do some caching in a nearby suburb.
Took the geo-bike for a ride along the river, and picked up some caches along the way.
Found a good variety of hides, in some lovely scenery.
A lot of work gone into this one - a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Team Sunderland, for us and others to find.

Thanks Team Sunderland - very awesome cache!
Thanks Team Sunderland - very awesome cache!
There was a muggle parked right above GZ so I had to use my sneaky skills to get close (it's totally normal for a young lady to go bush wacking in the suburbs, right?) Got to where GPS led me and was not having any luck.
Tapped into my geosenses and found what could possibly be cache's hiding spot. Walked over to find GZ was heavily guarded by 8 legged creepy crawlies, defeated them and soon had CIH - Yay!
Definitely giving this a fav for creativity! TFTC

Visiting from Canberra for Xmas. I loved this one. Not so much difficult as fun. Thanks for going to that much trouble to make our activity just that much better. Fav. Point from me. Tftc TS.
Having been muggled out of our last target we followed the path around as close as we could before bush bashing, creek jumping and rock hopping to the high road. From there it was easy terrain to GZ where once again a little SPOR is like a neon sign to a geocacher. This container also gets a fav point for the effort put in, very well executed.

Today I planned a nice walk around the Baulkham Hills.
I walked along beautiful tracks and boardwalks in the park.
I found many caches on my way, and all of them were placed with great effort and thought, well camouflaged. Some took quite a bit of time to find because all of them were unique.
The trail was so much fun.
Thank you

Geocaching with pills123 on a nice fine day in Sydney all caches do not need to be hard to find, as this was easy, but well done I do like caches with a lot of thought. a point is a must TFTC
