Logs
There have been times of deep disappointment with this cache being moved all over the structure rather than being near the SW corner and the banksia tree. Trying to track it down and return it to that spot a bother, and with the roof of the structure collapsing near that corner - and actually not being able to find it on a maintenance run today, I decided to archive it - after 9 plus years of operation.

I had to pick up some parts for the ranger in mornington . It’s so far away, so given it is a lovely evening it was worth making the most of it and targeting a few caches along the way.
After a thorough search we found an element of a well worn cache container and thought the cache had been muggled. Low and behold we found a newer cache of the same type on the other side. It however was missing a log. We added a replacement log and replaced the cache.
Thanks GrahamT for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

An impromptu trip down south to pick up some car parts. So why not grab a cache or two while there.
Spent ages searching all over. Thankfully not too many muggles about today. Eventually I spotted it from within, but RH reached from outside. Was on the opposite side to where we expected it to be. There was no logbook within, so we added a fresh sheet of paper and put it back where we found it.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, GrahamT

we went to the nearby bakery but they didn't have what we wanted, we were a lil too eager and a lil too early. So we headed around here to make the find. tftc
Out this morning for a bakery run, they didn’t have what we wanted so we left to find some joy in finding this cache. Tftc
Early morning bakery run and left empty handed only to return later. But while empty handed we grabbed this cache. Glad it was early but hard later on tftc
Clever hide, lots of muggles. Today is cloudy but not cold. After dropping son at school and me not working today, I decided it was the perfect day for geocaching. Very happy we are allowed further than 5 ks and I can collect some caches not in my suburb. Traffic was not too bad, I navigated my way to GZ and after waiting till most of the muggles past I located the cache, signed and returned. Thanks for the cache.
Great idea for a hide. Lots of watching eyes so needed to be extra stealthy. Thanks
Spiffy- and I came for a catch up with an old work mate and enjoyed a coffee in the sun. Afterwards we took the opportunity to find a few caches.
This was right were we parked so a quick find was made.
Thanks to GrahamT for the placement and fun.

Found at 2:31 pm.
With the suggestion from Fleabag- to catch up with an old work mate we headed to Mornington today after lunch. I haven't been here for a decade or more. How it has changed, so many cafe's and still they are all full.
After finding a place for a coffee and a snack we headed off for a few caches in the time we had left.
This was a nice quick find near where we parked.
Thanks GrahamT for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

We were looking for the cache and I picked up a cigarette box.yuck!!
Mum found the cache

Replaced the container, and the log sheet - inside a small plastic bag for protection. When you find it please put it back in exactly the same place! Cachers are motivated to look widely in not finding a cache. As owner I anticipate it being where I placed it back in 2012 and don't really want to search every bit of the structure on which I placed it. Thanks for your thoughtfulness. Enjoy the 'game'.

Great little challenge, the 24h gym & hairdressers makes it high muggle area even at night. Nice quick find once the coast was clear. No lid and log is becoming a little damp with the current night air but all signed & back were I found it. Tftc
Found it after a quick look around. Did not bring a pen so no entry in the log book. Thanks for the hide.
Thank you Graham T for your cache a very busy area but a good find it needs a replacement as it has no lid. Thanks again.

Was in the area and was relatively quiet which made searching less difficult. Couldn't sign log as I had no pen today. TFTC
A quick stop over and grab on this cache. Once I read the hint, I knew exactly where to look. Log signed and returned with all muggles none the wiser. TFTC!
With the Main Street of Mornington closed off for wandering and eating on the sidewalk, we found a park nearby and there was a cache too! A quick look here and there and SL at 7.13pm - now to find some food before we head back to our weekend accomodation in Frankston. #7304 TFTC and the momentary distraction from our hunger GrahamT
Creative hide, looked around and couldn’t find it until read previous log which helped out heaps TFTC
A great little cache. It was handy it was late at night because I could imagine the muggle activity here during the day. TFTC
Nice and tricky little cache. Didn't think we were going to find it until dino17 thought outside the box...
Couldn’t find it. Searched everywhere. Looked like dork doing it but oh well. Will come back another day.

Team OZCAT hits Mornington, then the weather hit us. The structure I feel may be demolished soon. CO beware and thanks.
Team OZCAT finds Wally, by a Wally. Tftc on this damp morning in February. Enjoyed a fantastic coffee and toasted sanga across the road as well
Been a long time since I last loved a geocache. Really great cache and well hidden and disguised, loved it.
Out for a quick bite to eat with the wife and couldn’t help but duck out and grab this one!
I was skeptical upon approach noticing it was a D3 and thought I may run out of time but luck was on my side and I had cache in hand within a minute of searching.

Quick find. First international find in my home country. Visiting for a family wedding from Dunedin, NZ.

Loved this one although I was looked at with suspicion with all the Christmas shoppers but managed to make the grab with out too much trouble.
Found it, but got distracted by shiny pokemon and think I forgot to sign the log! Will have to go back
As it turns out, I was looking for this cache on the wrong side of the structure all along! I seemed to be oblivious to the handy stump for a boost as I was convinced the other tree would help me. Otherwise, a quick find was made. All in good condition. Gee, I think this may be the first mint tin in a long time! Happy to finally log this, thanks GrahamT!
It's been a cold wet day, so why not go geocaching? Lol. This was a quick find, eager to get the trackable only to find it wasn't actually there. TFTC, found it with TroyfindZ.
In the dark the coast was definitely clearer than in daylight I suspect for finding this cache. Certainly there weren’t many Muggles around, but there were still a few to watch out for. The Cache was found at the first place we looked at that answered the hint. After signing it was placed back exactly where we found the item. Everything was in good, dry condition.
I must not be very good at this game as this was my 2nd DNF for the day. Plenty of muggles, I had a decent look but couldn't spot or feel anything. In the end I didn't want to remain there climbing over the structure looking like a mad man.
The first of nine caches found this morning with Geoson the Younger.
After dropping off partner and Geoson the Elder nearby at 6.30am to go on a fishing charter for the morning, GtY and I decided that some caches before food wasn't a bad idea.
This was the nearest trad cache to the pier, so we made a beeline for it. This one would likely be quite tricky from a muggle-onlooker POV ordinarily, but thankfully at pre-7am on Good Friday this was not an issue at all.
Found the container in second place looked. Signed the log, thanks for the cache, GrahamT.

On a desperate search to get my one cache for the day to keep my streak going wifey mc wife wife said let's hit this nice little local spot. 10:30pm on a Monday night there are not too many people around so we had free reign to climb and search. Quick find with the extra clue. Cache in great condition. TFTC
Geodaughter climbing on a tree giving me a hint at where it might be
good hide thank you
good hide thank you
Found after wandering around markets, lots of people around. Climbed all over the trolleys before realising I didn’t have to go inside. Tftc
Put my hand on it very quickly and signed the new logbook. The CO can contact me if he needs help to locate it next time
New log sheet ,and container back in the position I first placed it. Please read details carefully.
temporarily unavailable while I replace the log AND deal with its 'habit' of moving from where I placed it - I then have trouble finding it!
wandering the shops with the mate while in town, decided to let the local make the grab as she was very eager to learn about caching, sl as d13 & cass, replaced as found....
