It has come to my attention that this series is creating an impact on the surrounding environment. Geo-trails are forming and weeds are being spread due to the nature of these hides.
The guidelines state: "Geocaches are placed so that plant and animal life are safe from both intentional and unintentional harm. "
As a result, I am archiving this series to avoid further damage to the environment and to use these containers for some more "unique" style hides.
Thank You for all the unreal logs and comments over the past 17 and a half months.

Quick easy find (with the hint). First series we have tackled and we have really enjoyed it!
Quick & easy find! Had to pick just the right moment to search & grab this one as there were elderly neighbours nearby on their verandah & council guy mowing grass along the path right opposite GZ. SL / TFTC
Got this on the way back. Muggles in yard first time around. TFTC only missed 1 of the 15.
Going to have to go back for this (not a problem really, since there were others in the series we didn't get as well). I thought I'd found where it should be, the GPS said I was basically on top of it, but there was nothing there despite some very thorough hunting from both of us. After reading the other logs, I wonder whether it was acting up and I should have been on the opposite side of the path. Though the hint seemed to suggest we were in the right spot too. Quite odd.
Bit of a caching afternoon with my brother, walked part of this trail and picked up some caches along the way. And got distracted by ponies! TFTC.
My first cache in Australia! Was out exploring and I thought I would log this serie of caches. A nice walk to Glendale, and then a nice run back to Wallsend. All of the caches were an easy find accept the last one that I had to think a few minutes until I could find it. Thanks for this nice serie
Had to come back because of the old man in the window watching. Eventually read the log and found that yes it's on the other side of the path hmmm
Ok so today was a classic example of not doing your homework. I had no idea this was on a cycle so I ended walking the whole thing with my friend.
A few were a bit tricky but we managed to get them all. I had no idea this was here so thank you for introducing me to the cycle way.

Managed to trek this all by foot with a fellow geo friend, after the first 4 we realized bicycles would of been much better if we both did our homework before trekking.
A few were a bit hard to get at first but we managed to get all of them in the end.
Overall, a lovely afternoon along the path which we never had known it existed.

Pleasant walk on a Tuesday arvo. Thanks for the series.
Our GPS got on to the wrong side of the tracks too.

Cool but took time to find it because the GPS said it was the opposite tree. TFTC

Thanks for the cache Cccritter7.
With freezing hands and faces, Cccritter7 and I set off on our great Geocaching adventure. We started with the Toolbox series on the Fernleigh Track, then found the Balls-Out series in the Kahibah Sports complex. After this, a few stand alone caches in Kahibah/Charlestown. We then zoomed down the Pacific Highway on our bikes. After a perilously steep hill in Windale, we searched for the 'Nature Bird' Series in Tingira Heights. It wasn't the greatest time to take these on, as there was some very muddy tracks. After a spot of lunch along the way, we completed the majority of the caches and came down to the shore of Lake Mac. We picked up the Billion Dollar Boardwalk Series, then went on a long ride along the beautiful Lake Mac, ending up at Mega Fun. We then headed to The Leaning Red Gum cache at Glendale. After that we enjoyed a McFlurry at Macca's, before setting off for the Glendale to Wallsend Power Trail. After completing this, we tiredly set off home, exhausted but tired after an awesome day of GeoCaching.

6465 + 819 = 7284. Found during a brief morning run in the Newcastle area.
Had just enough time to walk this power trail and then get back to the car before having to leave Newcastle. Parked near number 1 and started the walk. This was a quick find - just out of the view of the old lady enjoying her cuppa on her back porch nearby. She was still there when I walked back past later and said a cheery Hi to me !
Thanks again cccritter7 !!
TNLN - TFTC !!

We took a long time doing this one because
we did not want tot pull any bark off the tree
and were trying to be very , very careful.
Then i checked the GPS and we were on the wrong side of the track.
Soon had the right tree and the cache in hand.
Easy when you look in the right place.
Thanks cccritter7

Thanks to the kind muggle who stopped me from spending tooo long looking in the wrong place. TFTC
A friendly muggle in the nearby house suggested I look in another tree, and lo there it was, 4 down 11 to go.
Our 6692nd overall find.
Starting to work our way uphill, no kids whingeing yet! Today we completed the series with the three girls. A great day for a ride.
Thanks cccritter7 for the cache.

While checking out new caches I noticed that some of our finds aren't showing up as being found. Seems I hadn't been saving the logs before Ieaving the pages on my iPad, so I'm going back and logging them properly. Not sure when I found this cache, but our name will be found in your logbook. Thanks for the cache!
When I was looking around 1 of the treas, a couple came out from the closest house and tole me to look at the other tree...
I smiled and said thanks.
When they asked me what people are writing on the paper they take out from the tree, I just found it totally impossible not explain what we are doing. Sorry for this, but they were a little bit concerned.
TFTC!

Found at 8:10 AM GAFF3. Another one where the GPSr was pointing to the other side of the track. We don't like looking at the hints to have to find a cache, but in this instance we did not want to hang around searching in the vicinity of those houses.
Thanks cccritter7.
Thanks cccritter7.
The premise of this series was that it'd be a really cool little ride and a quick string of caches, today ,for me it was an annoying series plagued, literally by mosquitos and Muggled(?) caches. I don't often complain but have to this time, owner maintenance is required due to several missing caches as already logged by others. And top of my so and so day, the battery went flat real quick and my backups hadn't been charged [:(!]

The gps wanted us on the other side of the road but it wasn't there, we'd already checked. Easy find and on to PT5. TFTC cccritter7.
Had a looking for a while...until the GPS driver worked out they had us looking too far away. The kids loved the cows, especially the calf with the white love heart head stamp.
Went back for this one as we were quite confused last time...running around the nearby tree

We were able to meet up with friends DiMorgan and got together to do some caching around the Newcastle area. It was a fun day out and this was one of the caches we were able to find.
Thanks to cccritter7.

This one had a us a little stumped at first. Checked coordinates and what do you know we were looking on the wrong side of the track.
We came back for this one today, and soon found it once we knew the coords were quite a bit out. Thanks for the hide.
A really great power trail for our first - nice scenery, cows, horses, ponies, plenty of caches, and easy hides. Very enjoyable experience for the whole family. Thanks for bringing us on this great walk.
With geotoddler and geobaby in hand I decided I would see how far I could get with this series before one of them had a meltdown.
This was as far as we got before the tears started.
I dont know how muggle safe this one is as there are 10 retirees watching me whist they had their morning cuppa.

A very nice walk with friends and their 4 daughters. They are going to start Geocaching now have them hooked by this walk. We met cccritter7 during our walk had just replaced cache No.7
A pleasant walk on a pleasant day. About an hour 40 from the first to the bonus. Thanks.
Found 11:35, we decided to walk this trail to walk of breakfast and kill some time prior to heading out to the HISS, to watch the Melbourne Ice win their third AIHL championship in a row
TNLN, CSI=2, thanks cccritter7.

We started the trail at 10.30am and finished at 1pm. We took the geo-dog Smelly Ellie with us. It was quite an easy walk between caches with Mrs C looking at ALL the rocks along the way. We greatly enjoy powertrails and appreciate the work that goes into placing them. Thanks guys for the exercise and caches.
Reperio at 1700.
After finishing work, I returned to the trail today to tick another cache off in this power trail, and although the cache was quickly located, he coords led me to the other side of the trail...where it looks as though it does for most people given the geotrail formed there. Collected the number for the final, and then it off home for some tea.
