I knew that I would have to move or archive this cache soon with the roadworks going full steam ahead in the area, but on checking on the cache yesterday we discovered it has been muggled Sad it won't be replaced....

TFTC!! We had to go to Sydney tonight & thought we should grab a cache on the way down. We parked at the shopping centre & walked to GZ. Took a few paths before finding a mud-free way. What a strange place for a sign. I'm surprised they haven't moved it. Didn't take too long to find as it was getting dark =)

Last minute grab. Hard to spot in fading light. Tftc

Found without any problems. TFTC.

I tried the lower route first but it got so bogy that I had to be abandon it for the noisier path and then make a final beeline for the structure. It really looks quite strange as it comes into view; a bit like the monolith in 2001. Nice to find a decent size box too - the only one for me today. Thanks GeoKrew.

#720 (1 of 13 today) (Streak day 182)

The Geowife had arranged with her friend to spend the day on the Central Coast again, and of course I went along so that I could... well, you know.
Thought I'd sneak up to Morisset at some point as it would give me a Hunter Region cache for the NSW State Challenge.

In the end I grabbed 13, and DNFed a few as well.

I had fading light by the time I reached this one....took a while to work out how to get in, and then got my feet wet anyway...searched for a while but came up with nothing....except a rabbit...maybe the cache will appear out of the hat next time.

Now that Mrs C has made a rapid recovery with her new hip, it was time to get out and about to grab some smilies around Central Coast.
#3 today. After parking on the south side of the Pacific H'way intersection we took the long walk around to avoid mixing it with the traffic. Found the sign, easy too miss it and in a moment had the good size cache. SL, left a penny. Thanks GeoKrew.

Nice find on our way home, TFTC The sign is not in sight, what a waste of advertising.

TFTC,
Returning south after a great visit with friends up north for a couple of days.
I guess the developer did to good a job with the required vegetation planting.
Visited a group of trackables to build up some Km's for the owners.
No trackables at home so I didn't make a swap. CO may want to advise the trackable owner it may be missing.

21-Jan-14
That’s one more find for me! Thanks so much for hiding this geocache.

Found on the way out to Avoca for our annual crazy Christmas party. Parked at the Westfield servo and thought I was headed stright for the sign near the intersection coming from Ourimbah. My GPSsoon changed direction and I ended up doing a full lap of the block. A much larger more interesting sign, was soon found. I suppose this block of land was clear back when Westfield was built? Thanks For placing such a large cache when most probably would a just stuck a magnetic nano.
Gets a favourite for that
Cheers from Browngang

It,s been a bit of a wait to find this one. I parked in Westfield and made the short walk to the cache site. Spotted the cache quite soon. Thanks The Geokrew once again for an interesting cache. I had no swaps in my pack which I felt bad about this so I left my tweezers that I usually use for extracting small logs. Entering this sitting under the sign on my iPad.

09-Oct-13
First ammo container for me. Had to go back to get my sunnies.

02-Oct-13
OMG, this sign is well hidden! I was almost at GZ before I noticed the sign. Smile

Second GeoKrew cache for the day. I've worked at Tuggerah for 10 years and I didn't even know this sign was here! TNLN. SL. TFTC.

30-Aug-13
Knowing that I was working up here today, went through some of the local cache listings and when my wife spotted that there was a Pathtag in this cache it was a must do, as she collects them.
I drove past GZ and spotted the sign and parked at Westfields. It was a short walk back and found a easy way to GZ. Once there it was a short search to find the cache. Nice a ammo can Big Grin
Strangely though the reported geo-coin and Pathtag were not in the cache???
No one else has signed the log book and the cache was at the correct coordinates.
I hope there is not someone doing the wrong thing as these items cost the owners money and there is enjoyment in watching items travel. I hope they turn up. I added some additional swaps to the cache, thanks.

30-Aug-13
Well, I can confirm that this is the cache where I left the Dreamweaver geocoin, including the plastic coin-holder and the pathtag I found with the coin. I'm sure I haven't logged it as being dropped off in the wrong cache or anything. I also hope it turns up. Sad

05-Aug-13
Wow, I wasn't expecting to that! Another cool cache, thank you GeoKrew.

Signed log and left a Dream Weaver geocoin with pathtag.

Found it. Nice cache

19-Jul-13
Pulled up alongside the most obvious geotrail closest to GZ and couldn’t miss the sign. Can see how passing traffic would though. Quick find but glad I still had my gumboots on after the last few searches this morning.

Found on Day 4 of Central Coast road trip with mizmaz. TFTC!

Totally get it! You wouldnt know the sign was here! Cool cache!

Should have invested in some gumboots.
Sneaky cache though!
TFTC!

22-Jun-13
The size of this sign blew me away!!
After stopping the bike near GZ, I looked for a dry way in. Found one on the 3rd attempt.
Broke through the trees and there was this ENORMOUS sign right in front of me!
It's amazing that it is barely visible from the road.
Found the well hidden cache and signed the log.
TFTC. Favourite point, for sure.
Thanks GeoKrew.

Definitely a gumboot cache! Entered from the east, encountered swamp, got stuck amongst lantana and thicket, finally got out as it started raining and walked around outside. Nice big cache, ridiculous sign which I'm sure they still light up every night!

Wink Yep, I do remember this sign. Isn't it funny how you don't miss some things. I drive past it twice a day and have for 15 years, didn't realise it was outta sight. TCTC.

Reperio at 1300.

I walked over from where I had parked near 'Roadside Hum'...and as I was approaching GZ, the GPS was starting to point a little too far into the scrub for what I was expecting. Once I broke through the first line of trees...it was then I saw the sign. Wow this thing really is outta sight. Searched around a little longer than I should have as the cache was completely covered over from view...but eventually stumbled upon it.

Gratias The GeoKrew.

Getting to GZ was the trickiest part for me! I tried from the disused road to the south first but there were no paths, and eventually came in after risking it along Cobbs Rd. I was prepared for along search after reading previous logs but found it almost immediately (for a change). It's an ammo tin but it blends in well. You don't need to trash the undergrowth, just have a good look around near the sign! Thanks GeoKrew.

24-Jan-13
Found out caching with Spikeymikey. Thank you for the cache.

24-Jan-13
A day of caching with TheHeadChef.
Having made our way to GZ, we were confronted by an area with a multitude of places to search.
After searching in all the obvious places, to no avail, we widened our search, and started kicking the undergrowth to try to find the cache.
After many kicks, we were about to phone the CO for a clue, when THC finally spied the container.
A well hidden hide.
Not much point in having this sign here now, as it is completely hidden from the road by the tree growth.

Took a few minutes to find, but was very happy to find an ammo tin.

27-Oct-12
Found 3:08 PM with AuroraEve after attempting roadside hum. TFTC Nice to get a little more obvious one and matching with the coords. One does wonder about the value of the sign with the forest grown up.

18-Oct-12
Interesting place for a sign!
Took soccer ball. Left turtle and Canada pin

17-Oct-12
Strange place for a sign..... Glad there was no drive through. Left snowflake and Canada pin. Tftc

03-Oct-12
This was my second attempt at this one.
Discovered that I'd not previously logged a DNF.

30+ degree heat to search in today.
GPS was behaving properly today and hit ground zero very quickly and made a quick find.

did a quick visit after taking in ta 3d movie. i think it scambled my vision as i could not find the cache even after 30 minutes of searching.
it is probably stillthere i just ran out of llight and patience.

next time gadget!

Approached from the wrong direction, resulting in a hard slog and swampland.
Eventually reached GZ only to find that I could have made it far easier if I took more notice of my GPS and opted for the shortest distance to GZ. Once there it took a little to locate.

15-Sep-12
LOL...............i remember that big ole sign being put up, (i think the traffic has increased ten fold since then), funny how things disappear as huge as that without even noticing that they have gone, it was like being in a time warp when i saw the big ole sign again.
Many thanks for the neat cache, and for the memories.

15-Sep-12
Took awhile to find in the increasing darkness. TFTC.

15-Sep-12
Will try again, Strange why the sign is still there

25-Aug-12
We were in the area so this cache couldn't be passed by. We used the suggested parking area and a short walk found us at the sign.
The cache was spotted after only a coule of minutes - especially when we looked from the correct angle.
Thanks for another good cache GeoKrew.

20-Aug-12

11-Aug-12

We came back today with our new eTrex, much easier when you can get more than 3 satellites. It dropped us right on GZ. This place looks like another herd of cattle has come through, what do people do here? Left a TB, thanks for the hide.

30-Jul-12
Thoroughly enjoyed this cache, even though its quite frustrating to find. So many places for it to be, yet only one correct place of course. Left a travel bug for the next lucky cacher.

23-Jul-12
We found the sign easily enough without getting too wet, but with a wandering GPS and totally wet undergrowth we only had a brief look and will leave for others. The area looks like a herd of cattle have been through there!
