Hi. We got the right answer but I think the cache is gone. There have been recent roadworks / development at this intersection area. Sad

17-Apr-24
Looks like recent road works may have removed the cache

Cant stop progress

Found it after hunting around but it was only a piece of paper under a log so popped it into a mint tin with some extra paper so hopefully it'll be around for a while longer!

Taurus Six and I are happy to be having a long weekend down Dunsborough / Yalingup / Cowramarup / Margaret River way . Perfect weather for it and perfect time of year for a visit down this way . We always aim to see new things and explore new areas each time we come down this way . In between wineries, gourmet foods, bushwalking and exploring there is also always plenty of time for geocaching . There are still lots of caches in this general area that we have not yet collected so we have plenty of choice which makes the experience all the more enjoyable . This is day three of our break, after a nice leisurely breakfast we started the day on the Wadandi Track at the mid section. We collected a few caches there before deciding to go for a drive down Caves Road to Boranup and Hamelin Bay collecting reasonable assessable caches along the way , enjoying the walks and the views . Beautiful sunny day with a nice sea breeze most of the time. We just love these back roads around this area so much to see and do.This was our eight cache find of the day and we definitely made it more difficult than it should be. We always respectfully enjoy visiting cemeteries and this was a particularly nice and serene one. We had it too ourselves except for the beautiful birds in song all around. We collected what we thought were the clues and set about calculating final gz , but it was then we realised we had made a mistake . Back to the graves and we soon spotted our error. Then it was off to final gz. We only found a log at gz so we signed it and placed it under a piece of wood. Thanks for the cache Sea Breeze Oz .

Found it. Beautiful cemetery

Enjoyed the walk around this lovely quiet cemetery.
Final co-ords seemed to be out by a bit. Found thanks to the spoiler photo.

Stopped in here with GeoMum40 (signed as PatFam as she couldn’t remember her caching name) after visiting Hamelin Bay. Had a bit of a wander collecting the numbers, but had to resort to a recent pic to claim the final. We found it about 21m out. TFTH!

05-Mar-23
Incredibly thankful for the spoiler log photo, we almost called a DNF. TFTC

This is in trouble sorry. They are clearing the area for a road. I suspect tomorrow and it’ll be all over. Maybe not. Time will tell. Thanks for the hide.

02-Sep-22
As there was nowhere to hide a cache at our calculated coordinates we spread out to a much more logical spot and found the container 20 metres away. Maybe the CO could fix this up for future finders.
Thanks SeabreezeOZ for the multi placement.

We were heading for Margaret River, but the long weekend and lack of available camp sites changed our plans. We decided to head for Boyup Brooki instead, and we passed this cache on the way. I arrived at the cemetery and worked out GZ, which ended up being a very unlikely spot. The hint did not help at all. I checked the coordinates with the checker and GZ was correct. Hmm. Thank goodness for the spoiler photo in a previous log as the cache is in a new location quite a distance from where I had it pegged.

Day 4 of WAGB22 week. More fun around Bunbury, and some 4x4 driving to get some way south of the Cape to Cape Walk. This involved, driving, walking and some jogging.

Solid day but not a great haul. 1 FTF, 23 finds and 1 DNF. Plus 20 Adventure Labs.

Thanks to all the CO for their hides.

Day Two of the SMIC(SirFancy, Meme28, I C Nothing and Cirrus_WA) weekend, we started out in Dunsborough and headed to Margaret River.
We grabbed many labs, multi’s, mysteries and challenges.
I’ll sleep well tonight.

Congratulations to Cirrus_WA’s 4000 find during today.

This is my 1419 find.
Thank you SeabreezeOZ for placing and maintaining this cache.

Meme28, Cirrus_Wa, Sir Fancy and I C Nothing are hitting the road for a caching weekend with many caches in our sights. A weekend of many laughs and hopefully a few challenges we will qualify for after this run. All caches were found in good condition. Logged as SMIC.

Area has been cleared found half the old container left a replacement but cords will need to be reworked by CO.
Spoiler photo in log.

29-Jan-22
Found the half of the container of the bulldozed GZ. Have put a replacement container and log out (see I C Nothing’s spoiler photo if needed).

A final weekend getaway before the school year starts to grab a bunch of caches with good friends SirFancy, Meme28 & I C Nothing (SMIC).
Day two had us completing our version of the cape to cape experience.
The morning was filled with caching around Dunsborough & Yallingup getting my name on the last of the WAGB Challenge caches.
We lunched at Yallingup Maze before heading all the way down to Augusta and starting to make our way back northwards.
The day finished with some more adventure labs in Margaret River and dinner and the Settlers.
Not satisfied enough we grabbed a few more finds on the way back to the accommodation.
I finished the day with 36 finds, 18 adventure labs, 18 challenge signed and 1 DNF.

Very nice multi cache on the cemetery with questions not so easy to answer Cool. This one needed definitely some searching which I enjoyed very much.... Once all the needed values were found I made my way to the final, which could be found after some minutes Red Face. Unfortunately the log is damp, but it accepted my nick nevertheless Razz.

Great geocache with great questions. Made me sad seeing all the people who have died.

We really enjoy these cemetery caches. We did a great one in York some time ago on a previous Australia holiday. So often these folks get forgotten or under appreciated and that's a shame, but multis like this make you stop, read and think. FP TFTC

22-Apr-18
Had planned for the last week to do a day trip down to Augusta to pick up the caches there and a couple of others on the way. The weather was terrible when we left early with torrential rain and thunder and lightening. We decided to still go and by the time we got to Augusta the weather was fine and we were able to get most of the caches on our list. There was lots of muggles everywhere we went but most caches were quickly found with a few that took a bit of searching. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches for us and everyone else to find.

02-Apr-18
TFTC found a seabeeeze cache and will move on

01-Apr-18
We were on our way back from a trip to Augusta and called in to grab this cache. Another spot we wouldn’t have visited if it wasn’t for the hide. An easy grab once the coordinates were worked out. TFTC!

A Southwest escape again with Barnzy12 starting in Perth heading to Margaret river via Dunsborough yallingup and down the coast road.

Day two had us visiting Augusta to Pemberton with a great drive through heartbreak track with stunning Karri Forrest.

Day three was spend visiting Windy Harbour ... living up to its name and then through to Walpole where an epic walk up GC18W4D fire lookout ended the day.

Day four was to be spent walking through Walpole-Nornalup National Park to complete the Hop on Top walk and series of 7 geocaches. A great walk spend with a team of others.
The day ended with a huge drive back to Perth ready for a day of work on Monday.

During the 4 day adventure plenty of caches found around 90 with a good range of types and container sizes. Some great photos and memories to take away.

SeabreezeOZ I found your cache LKA Karridale thanks for placing this hide for myself and others to find.

Have you logged your will attend for WAGB18? Dunsborough is where it’s all at this year check it out at GC7GXQA October 13th + 14th.

I enjoy LKA caches and another good one. I liked the idea of no actual coordinates and a bit of exploring to find the numbers. All headstones where found and in good condition.

Camping at Alexandra Bridge with GeoHuntorz so of course we had to find some caches.
I love he LKA caches but this one had us stumped for awhile.
It didn’t help that gravestones were missed and wrong info written down.
We eventually worked out the errors that were made and happy to find the cache in the end. Container was soaked in water but managed to write our names down.
Thank you for placing the LKA cache for us to find.

Son said we could go away for a couple of nights, muggle wanted to go East while I said south as our East destination was 5hrs away without cache stops, so after muggle finished work at 10am on Monday some household chores got done and we did a couple of things in Bunbury we were on the road about 1.30pm Big Grin

After two nights at Augusta now is the time to head home. I was originally tossing up between Augusta and Hamelin Bay but having already stayed at Hamelin twice before I thought somewhere different this time.

Having solved this one over two years ago it was so good to finally be in the area and get my smiley here Big Grin before heading to Hamelin Bay for a look, can't help myself really

The logbook just had a slight damp feel to it but the old book in there I'm sure was damp,, easy find and log signed and cache replaced as found

TFTC Smile

Very interesting cemetery and great multi. We were almost baffled with the wording for E but our numbers got us to GZ. Thanks SeabreezeOZ.

Our target for today is multis to assist Tomstache in his bid to complete a Bingo Challenge in Victoria. We collected a couple of others as we cruised past. It was a stunning day and it gave us a fantastic opportunity to explore this area.

Just love cementaries, 6 heads are always better than 2 when you get these ones. Make sure you read directions here.

Thanks SeabreezeOZ for a puzzling cache and a historic place. Xambo4u & pprass were with us.

Found at 12:42 PM GAFF5 in the company of xambo4u and &others.
We were all amused while doing this cache as c-pprass thought that "E" was a trick question that she was able to detect straight away. Well - it was a trick question if you didn't read it carefully Razz
Thanks SeabreezeOZ.

Trees gave me a bit of grief with the signal but no more than if I'd needed to solve the puzzle. TFTC

06-Apr-15
At the moment I'm on a work and travel backpacking year through the world. Most of the time I'll spend in Australia and I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge during this trip. The chance of having a moving home zone should be taken, as it will make the challenge so much easier.

Today I made my way to this old cemetery. All the graves were found fast and I got the final coords after a couple of minutes. Even if I wasn't sure, as there are two William Ellis buried close to each other I ignored the right one and found the box after some stumbling through the wet bushes.

TFTC and greetings from Germany

27-Mar-15
Thanks for the hide Seabreaze.
This has been a little nemesis of mine fist time getting coordinates to work for me. Enjoyable to walk around the old cemetery looking at of the old graves of the pioneers. Today was was a quicker find Wink would love to see the multi up and running again.
Replaced log book as the old one was a bit mouldy.

Quick park and grab. Be good to see it back to as a multi. TFTC

Woohoo !!! Found It !!! Out caching with JimmyA* and this was one of our finds for the arvo.

Shame the puzzles were out of action due to senseless vandalism. Still a nice hide.

02-Sep-14
What a shame vandalism has occurred. It must be very sad for the people whose loved one graves have been messed up.
We would have liked to do the multi properly, but that doesn't stop us claiming it as a find. Water in the bottom of the container, but log pretty dry due to plastic bags. Dried out before returning to hidey hole.

Started the weekend early and found a cache on the way to Molloy Island. It was a classic winters day, cool but sunny. It was great to finally get this cache as its been on my radar for some time.

Nice little search through the tombstones.....even my 7 year old thought it was an interesting location and gave me the reasons why people had died the way they had and at the age they had. TFTC.

01-Jun-14
Found with wot, GoGetterGC and Nelkia.
There was a man playing the saxophone in the cemetery when we arrived. After finding the cache, we went for a wander to read some of the headstones, and we discovered he was playing the saxophone to his dad (presumably), of whom it was his birthday. Sweet.

This was our 4th cache find in a caching run of 7 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
We found it at 08:59 so this now makes our total find count 7930.

[blue]Another day out caching with The Drovers. Pretty much a lazy start, we slept in and then did a quick tour around the area before relocatingour camp once more.
When we arrived there, was a camper van parked in the car park. They had obviously spent the night there.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said GZ should be.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Dropped: TB "Blue Doll"
Thanks SeabreezeOZ for the hunt today.

21-Feb-14
Did a short drive with Ian and Penny around the Alexandra Bridge area,
to pick up a few caches before moving the caravans to Northcliffe.
It's a shame to see vandalism in cemeteries, some people don't seem to have any respect.
Due to the changes, cache was an easy find, dry and in good condition.
Many thanks for the hunt, SeabreezeOZ.

23-Jan-14
GeoDad took off out the car in a different direction to GeoMum who went straight to the cache!!

This cache was found on our big adventure through the south west.

The log book was a bit damp & mouldy. It was still in its bag with the cache being inside another bag. I'm sure it will dry out.

Thanks
