Nice easy find. Though the rams head has been moved to the nearby sculpture park.
Great view from the bridge and a nice easy hide. I took the opportunity and went down to the ram for some close up shots.
Now why wasn't I invited to this lamb roast, would have been a wonderful specimen.
Thanks for the cache Tatty

Being a Sunday not too many people driving by to notice what we were doing. A quick stop to look at the view and then a quick find. TFTC
Found fairly easily although lots of cars about which made it awkward. Good one!
Lots of traffic about, so approached this rather sheepishly! Nice easy find!

On holidays and the family were going to meet a friend nearby for a couple of hours, I could not wait for this opportunity to grab some caches along this trail! I convinced them too drop me off at this cache first and make my way down from there.
A nice quick find at this one, a common hiding spot back where I live in Canberra.
Great spot for a cache though, we do not have any freeways or large bridges like this in Canberra so it certainly brought a new feel to geocaching for me! I really enjoyed it
Thanks for the cache Tatty, a good spot

Decided to get on the bike and hit the peninsula link trail and pick up some unloved caches by me. I had an idea where this one might be and it turned out I was right TFTC
I couldn't work out the rams view connection to start with but then I saw the artwork. I said to MazzyMay check that out. She said, its ok but its upside down. I said what???? She said, its a fish, isn't it? TFTC
Out for a bike ride with WeRAmused. I think she was very amused when I said the ram was a fish, Oh well, old age works in my favour sometimes. TFTC

Girls day out on the bikes today for Mrs Team Smokey-Bear and I.
Stopped to pick up this clever hide while doing the nearby series. Great location! Great view!

As we were going to be passing this cache while doing PLT we thought we better get it. Even with the hint this then proved hard to get with all the muggles looking at us and no where to hide. Tftf
Thanks for making this great cache nice bike ride with geojill_11 and my dad 4bait tftc took us a bit tftc
I couldn't find this at all. Spent about 10mins and couldn't figure it out. It was found by two people earlier today, so I must be so blind right now
Out for a long bike ride with Mark9375 and 4bait. Traffic was reasonable. Great view! TFTC

Find 06 of 08 for the day and #1933 in total.
Found by Echo!
Good spot for the view but what a strange sculpture.
Glad we didn't hit that one with our car!
Only in Australia...
Nice simple find even with all the cars going past.

We decided to cache the section of the PLT between Skye Road and the Pines end towards Ballarto Road. This cache was the first we found for the morning and with one Garmin having battery problems, we found this one with the new 64S. It turned out to be an easy find, putting us right on top of it.

Had a great afternoon cruising along the PLT, it was much nicer than I thought it would be.
Found pretty quickly. TFTC.

Found tonight while on a Christmas lights search. Great view from here at night. TFTC
Finally we have gotten around to finding this hide. Was a bit hairy on this part of the path with the little ones, but nice and easy to find. Looked out for our sheepish friend who the geotoddler insisted was a dolphin! TFTC
Out for a bike ride with Team Nekochan today and was able to complete a part of the PL trail that has been on my to do list for a while.
Parking at the Cranbourne road end of the trail we rode to the Sky road section so that we could work our way back and take rests finding the other caches if needed.
The view from this cache was good - a nice clear afternoon meant we could see the Dandenongs without any problem.
When going about finding the cache I had to face palm myself as I hadn't loaded the co-ords in to my GPSr. Fortunately I had loaded it into my phone via C:Geo, so was able to find GZ and find the cache.
As there were plenty of cars around I was able to pretend to be taking photos of the view when the traffic lights halted them whilst we were searching. Well, we did take some photos, so no need to pretend.
Thanks for the cache, and the great view.

With the Monkey King for an afternoon of bike riding and caching. Started from the Karingal hub area and rode to this part before going caching.
A great view and an interesting sculpture along the side of the road.
After the Monkey King found the cache we both quickly signed it and acted like we were jut taking in the view.. which we were.
Thank you for the geocaching adventure today.

One that I have ridden past heaps of times and today I decided to grab this one and admire the view.
After signing the log and placing it back again I decided to take a pic of the Ram in its environment.
I am pretty sure the Ram will be the next to end up in the Gallery grounds.

Apologies for the late log as I have fallen badly behind! This was one of my last 7 days that I needed for a find for my P366 challenge. I struck out from work at lunchtime on the short drive to the one. Parked up nearby and walked the last bit. No problems with the find in the obvious spot. Waited for a couple of cars to pass before putting back in place. I haven't always been a fan of these sculptures on freeways but I must admit I do like this one. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited my personal trackables. Thanks for the cache Tatty.

I was staying for a few days with my brother and found a couple of nearby caches - this was the first. Impressive sculpture. TFTC.
Rammed this one after a while. It took some finding as we were looking for something smaller as it said it was a micro. Great view and not too much traffic around while we were looking, and a few muggles. TFTC. Great hide.
Say what you like about this style of hiding place, but it does seem to virtually guarantee a lovely bone-dry log. Thanks Tatty!
A nice quick find on a rather chilly, no freezing night! Why in the hell am I doing out in the rain and wind freezing my butt off.... oh, that's right, I was caching..... and loving it!!!

DNF - looked all over following the hint but didn't come across it. 3 pairs of eyes and still no luck
A gem of advice in the logs - if it's tooo difficult look somewhere else nearby. Thanks Tatty.
We are Touring Australia and currently staying with family in Bittern.
Today we decided to head out with the GeoBikes. We parked midway on the PLT trail and headed northwards. After only maybe 3 caches we were struck with Trail closed signs so we retraced our tracks and headed south. It wasn't long before we had a spill with cyclist 2 taking out cyclist 1. [B)]
After counting fingers, toes, cuts and scrapes we were back on the hunt.
The weather wasnt the best but not the worst either. Overcast and light drizzle on occasion but that helped keep the muggle factor down. All in all a great afternoon out on the GeoBikes.

We found this cache today at 4:10pm as number 15 of 19 on our Follow the Freeway Saturday Afternoon. We reparked the car in the makeshift carpark on the western end of the bridge. Now why is the cache called.... oh wait, that's why. Easily able to find without muggles looking on. Thanks from D & H B-A.
okay.....so we didn't come up with da goods.
No biggie, I can admit 'we' were fumbling around for a little too long,
Now it's ALL I can think about, as realistically there weren't that many sneaky hidey spots. sigh.
ps. I notice my partner in crime hasn't logged her DNF.
thanks Tatty for the fun we had, you'll probs be hearing from me again!
cheers suzy

Have admired this sculpture before when heading down the freeway, but today on our bikes on the PLT we found this one at 3:40pm and had a great view of the sculpture from GZ.
thanks Tatty

After dropping the car off at The Coolstores, the good lady wife and I had a very pleasant ride down to the Rams head, once the traffic passed we were able retrieve the cache and sign the logbook. TFTC
Found it! Been waiting awhile for it to come back so was excited to see it. And my first trackable find!
Found!
Thanks for placing it back in its rightful place. I was beginning to worry about my intellect

Cache check - couldn't find original cache in intended location, replacement now in situ.
Couldn't find it. I was there around 20mins and couldn't see any notice of it. Although I hear this one's pretty tricky and I want to try again soon, I'm hoping this cache hasn't been muggled as I'd still love to find it
Took longer than it should have to find. Best sculpture. Thanks for my 6th cache on the sixth of Aug on my way to 30 for the month
Out for a short walk in the sun this afternoon trying to shake a cold I've had for a week now, a cache will cheer me up.
Quick find and then I leaned back to sign the log and enjoy the vewe...

I had such a case of cache blindness here. Must ahve looked at it twice but finally got there with persistence. And it is not even hard.
ABL973 found this while out caching with Square_Pegs. I brought a few travel bugs with me which will visit this cache. The weather has been much better than I expected, although it has been quite cool. Thanks to Tatty for placing this cache and highlighting the impressive sculpture just over there. I quite like this sort of thing.

Found the cache as we set out on the bikes along the trail. This is my favourite of the sculptures along the Peninsula Link. I would like to see it stay in its place permanently. Thanks for the cache.
Find # 2800
Date 27th Apr 2013
Time 10:00 AM
After a quick decision between myself and my caching partner in crime, SedgwickDave, it was decided we would throw the bikes on the back of the car and head for the newly created Peninsula Link Trail as well as a number of other caches in the area including another cache crossed off our D / T matrix, AKA "Project81". Dave picked me up at 7AM and we were on the trail by just after 8AM.
Although not part of the PLT, this one was in our path and took some searching, including a gentleman passing asking if we were "Up to no good" eventually spotted by Dave, a tricky hide.
Thanks to Tatty for the cache.

A nice mild night so what better thing to do at 2:30 am than hop on the bike and ride 5km along the Peninsula Link Trail to find some more of the PLT series of caches, as well as a couple of trads along the way. The caches along the trail have been great fun finding and I have done many with my two boys who have thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the cache finding. With them fast asleep, I was on my own tonight and I only had trouble with finding one of the ten caches.
A nice quick find tonight and not a muggle in sight. Thanks.

Arrived at GZ and admired the name sake sculpture in the distance. S started searching all the likely places but came up empty handed and moved on. M then moved in to have a boy look an had no sooner placed his hand right on the cache for find number four. TNLNSL TFTC KeMS
A great day for a bike ride, so why not couple it with a bit of caching. Set off and yes it was a great day for a ride, lots of Muggles thought so also! The Muggle factor was without doubt the most difficult factor of the day.
This was a quick, easy find. TFTC

We were going to hit this trail on Friday but other more important things came up so we put it off till To-Day & what a good day it was for caching not to many muggles & the weather was not to hot or cold just right for a bike ride along this trail..
After moving the car we had a crack @ this one it is a very imposing head i would not like to meet one that size in the dark.
After a couple of muggles had passed the cache was soon in hand signed then rehidden.
