Not going to replace as this is nowhere near other of my caches .. thanks to those who found it, I hope you enjoyed this cache
I had posted a needs Maintenance but have deleted the log. I also didn't find it but I must admit I spent more time looking inside the tree.
Thanks
Thanks
Well we looked, we poked, we prodded but came away empty handed. At least we found a new park to allow for further exploration by water.
Found while out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers as we head to Stanthorpe for the Qld Mega. Such a lovely spot and lucky for us no muggles. TFTC
Today we explored Ipswich and surrounds with Whitewebbs heading towards Stanthorpe for the Mega using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Whilst seeking for the container, I decided to have a good look inside.. its quite cavernous in there - a bugs life too! Decided to seek out some other possible spots and soon found the cute container. TFTC AOH

S had it in hand & was heading back up the hill before I had even locked the car lol.
Contents where a little wet but log is dry, thankfully I've an old shirt on today as it worked a treat in drying out the insides

Nice and easy this one and makes our 1st day of Geocaching total 3 out of 6! So addicted now.
On a day trip to Ipswich with angloj. When I began the search I was looking in the completely wrong area. When finally we got to where we needed to be we managed to locate the hide snug in his spot. TFTC an old hag
On a day trip with Kestal heading east, we made this as our seventh find and what a cute find it was! TFTC
Looking at caches in the area, I'm surprised to see I must have forgotten to log this one from some months ago. I remember the day well. This area was quite new to me, and I was conscious of the neighbour watching me, so I went for a long circuitous walk towards the water, pretending to talk on my phone. When I was out of sight behind the tree, one thing led to another... A short time later, I was strolling back up the hill feeling quite pleased about it all. TFTC in a great spot.
5th find for the day.
Had the day off today and decided to do a few caches between appointments and rain.
That is a big hole in that tree. Lol

Another interesting park which I visited with my daughter who was immediately attracted by the big hole in the tree and said "someone could live in that!" We poked our heads in but weren't game to go any further. Lots of great places here to stash a cache and it took a bit of searching. A great container. TFTC
Finally found it after deciding not to stick my hand all the way in there.

No joy for us here. We went 'in' to GZ but were not keen to go all the way in - so no cache for us.
I had meant to find this one after finding the Davinci Cryptex but the GPS had sent me for a wonder onto the other side of the river and down a dead end street. I then had to return almost back to the previous cache and start again.
This time I ended up on the right side of the river and spotted the likely hiding spot straight away.
I over though the hide at first and that had me searching with the flashlight app amongst the swarm of mosquitoes. After not finding the cache there I shifted my focus and spotted another likely spot and then retrieved the cache.
TFTC.

Nice little park, I said to the geokids who'd had enogh geocaching for one day, this one is at a park but I don't know if there's a playground, much to their delight there was, the cache is hidden a little way off so I ducked over and made a quick find. He was very cute, gave me a chuckle, Tftc.
Nice park but completely empty today. The location of the cache seemed fairly obvious and I sorta figured I'd be standing up inside the tree but it wasn't to be. Found the cache shortly later.

# 6166 Found on our 2013 winter escape trip to Qld.
We are in Ipswich for a few days to have a good look around.
No muggles around here today and another quick find logged and off again.
Another day of the 31 day challenge completed as well.
Thanks for the cache an old hag,
Roostaman.

Nice little cache. Well done "old hag". Not quite as obvious as it might first appear but easy enough to find in a great setting.
Way to freak me out Old Hag! I went in with my smartphone torch, even braved standing up to have a good look round. Made temporary friends with a lizard, spider and a few big fluttery moths. Geodad REMSJW stayed in the sunshine and made the find!
Arrived in the dark and with my trusty trackable torch I headed over to GZ. Before the floods in Ipswich there was a cache here that we had tried to find and were unsuccessful with, It was great to find this in the second place I looked. A great spot to bring the kids for a picnic one day.
So as I set out for day of caching this Is the first port of call and FTF in it new spot to tftc AOH..
days off coming up, so hopefully there will be no muggles when I try and replace him in a couple of days
The river level is nearly back to normal so will have another look in the next couple of weeks
The old hag thinks that Michelan might have used his extra bulge as a life jacket, and gone for a swim in the flood waters.
When everything is back to normal the old hag will go and see if he has returned to his home or if she needs to allow his twin to take over his duties guarding the hide.

My first ever Find Started today for the very first time, very exciting thank you
With one half of muff1 in Adelaide and one half in Ipswich anyone seeing our logs may wonder what is going on, how can we cache in two places at once? Easy we are both addicted.
We had done the previous cache and had stopped by a few times to drop off trackables as it was a large container. Great to see the park has a different unique container. SL TFTC

Arrived at GZ and started to look in the most obvious spot then realised I'd probably need a torch. However kept looking and soon uncovered the little chap. Thanks old hag
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Out and about today, and soon found myself at this one. Managed to park nice and close, and very quickly spotted the likely spot, and the cache Quickly signed the log, and returned it as found.

Was nice to have a short drive from the last cache for Whint and I for this one. Found a good parking spot but holy honking dumpsville! Some inconsiderate fool has dumped what looks like a month's worth of drink containers at GZ. With no means to fix the problem, we had to ignore it today. However I've never seen a purpose built canoe ramp before.
onto the cache and a short walk saw us at the likely spot. Whint spotted it quickly and I was the one to add our names to the log. Replaced as found and off to the next one. TFTC an old hag.

Out for a day of caching with Captain Terror and this one was next in line We parked down near the canoe ramp and were disgusted by the amount of rubbish all over the place down the... we didn't have to means to try to clean any of it up though... looks like maybe someone has been out boating and dumped all their rubbish on return :/ Such a shame!
Made our way to GZ and within seconds I had the cute little fellow in hand, log signed and off we go

A lovely area and I had a bit of a peek at the boat ramp for the canoe trail - makes me want to get a boat! The area was quiet this afternoon and after poking around a few places, spotted the cache. It smells like something, probably a possum, is also enjoying GZ! Thanks for bringing me to this area an old hag
Had a look over the river, and the canoe ramp before walking to GZ. Didn't know there was a canoe trail that starts here. Nice tree and a quick find of the neat cache.
thanks, Robmc.

# 1160. An apt name for the cache. I was the lucky one who found this and of course we had a chuckle about it. TFTC again, an old hag.
You can't help but feel the spectre of the 2011 floods still hang over the town somewhat. Everything looks spic and span again and it was nice to see you have placed a cache again in this scenic spot.
Thanks old hag

Yes - Deja vu for this little black duck as well on this cache. It has been many moons since I visited here for the old cache.
I inspected GZ and found a likely area. Sure enough it concealed a very well-hidden cache. It was in good condition. I was happy the area was devoid of muggles allowing for me to make a peaceful find. Thanks for bringing me back to the nice area again. TFTC an old hag

I recall finding the old cache that was here. I guess the floods took care of it Quick find and hide well. TFTC
Knew where to go as we had placed the original cache here prior to the 2011 floods...
Good to see the park is in good order!
Lovely spot and another great cache by an old hag!
Awesome...

My second visit to this location over my caching life. GZ was almost the same place too but this one is a little neater in it's placement and should last a bit longer then the previous cache... [^]
It's one of those areas that you feel a little open in but with the park empty, you can slink down and do what you gotta do. I didn't make it any easier by leaving my pen in the car, I needed to duck back and sort that before making it all the way to GZ. Doh...
I spotted the cache on arrival after ignoring what could be assumed as the obvious place to hide a container. Log out and signed I tucked it back and added a little extra camo to keep it safe. As I was heading back to the car, a bloody big dog came bounding down from the road, followed by a muggle in a car... Was this the way she walks her dog I wondered... [?]
Cheers Old Hag.

Another great container from An Old Hag. Was going to go for this one last night, but was beaten to the FTF. TFTC.
found it , in good condition , was going to place a cache there myself nice little park
Out for another day with Brother Colin
Our last for the day, and I was way too distracted by the big hole in the tree There's nothing like crawling inside one BC took a picture for me, then announced he had made the find, but wouldn't say where, so I had to search as well. A clever hiding spot and a very cute container. I remember the character from tv ads in the 70's TFTC, an old hag.

Out and about with IolantheK for another day of caching.
IolantheK went one way while I went another. Guess who found it first.
Thanks for the cache. It is in good condition.

*FTF* Would you believe I was at this park only last week and thought what a good place it would be for a cache!? Not exactly where I expected to find it but gee I love the 'aha' moments I get when I find your caches and the penny finally drops about the title! I'm sorry but I think I might have written the wrong date on the log in my hurry though. Cant keep thanking you enough for your contribution to caching in Ipswich!
