Good to see so many people at this event considering the doubtful weather. Many thanks organisers for bringing a delicious chocolate mudcake decorated with colourful smillies to brighten our day. Looking forward to seeing most of the gathering tomorrow in Ashburton.
Dropped off TB and coin I have had far too long.

A good few at the meet today. Thanks for the chocolate cake to go with the coffee. (did anyone pick up my plastic coffee cup? If so I'll get it later..... If not c'est la vie)
Altough I didn't bring a cuppa along I realy enjoyed my first NZ Event. Met really nice people, had yummy cake and of course lots of geocaching-talk.
Thank you for organising!

Thanks to JustMeG, PurdiePurdie and La Vista for organising this Geocaching 'birthday party'. It was a great to catch up with cachers we knew and meet new ones - before going to buy a new computer (my last one died) so I could continue caching! So TFTC (cake) & TFTE (event) & enabling us to get another badge in our Geocaching tally.
We got there in the end, only an hour or so after it had finished Ahhh, kids, they sure slow things down! Hope you all had fun, kids enjoyed the slides after our picnic in the park. Next time I'll leave the kids at home - much quicker!
Great wee catch up with fellow cachers. Thanks for the cake & Event. Bit cold wot but nice to be out and about. Cheers.
Thanks for joining us all for a celebration of the 2nd official Int'l Geocaching day (3rd Saturday of August), but of course every day is a geocaching day! Great that so many turned up in the morning & to meet the new names & faces! See you all at future events!

Thanks to the host - good to get up & get going; I have spent the rest of the day on a haphazard, unplanned geocaching expedition! Look forward to seeing almost everyone in Ashburton tomorrow.

It was great to see so many attend our event today. Thanks for coming out on what turned out to be a great winters morning. I enjoyed all of the geochat and specially meeting the entire family of new enthusiasts. Thanks to La Vista and justmeg.
What a noisy bunch I found as I headed towards the group. Couldn't help but be where I was meant to be as I was delayed by doing Cardboard Cathedral cache on the way. After much talking and catching up was on my way to do more caches before heading to the activity I was to run for RuruNZ's Guides who were camping for the weekend.
Great turnout for this event even if the tea rooms were closed, most of us managed to have a cuppa. Thanks to those who made the cakes to share - sorry didn't really fancy a piece at the time but I'm sure others enjoyed it.
Thanks Gwen for organising.

Thanks for the chocolate cake and the company of caching colleagues! A great morning - chilly but sunny.
Will be bringing a travel bug that's flown over from Wellywood & wants to get to Springfield, so would like to go home with anyone going that way.
Yay, should be sunny morning!!
Join us for cache chat over a cuppa & cake. A chocolate cake has been prepared for the celebration & waiting to be eaten ! See you all !!

Thanks, ladies - I had noticed an event in Wellington on the 18th, delighted we will have one here.
I'm going to Auckland to see the Bledisloe Cup the next weekend - I'd be happy to ship any TB / GC up there.
