We looked here and there and we were about to head back to the car when hubby spotted an electric plate cover on the ground near the stairs, minus any magnets. We also found a plastic bag but no log sheet. We add a sheet of paper and placed back on the ground in the corner with a rock over it. SL TFTC

As logged on 6.4.17 this cache is in need of owner attention. The log of this cache is soaked, indicating that the container is no longer weatherproof. Future seekers would appreciate somewhere dry, to record their visit please.

After a couple of hours spent in the past at the Ballarat Cemetery, with silent relatives and Wherigo's, we moved to this more active area of Ballarat. The cache was very quickly in hand, the log could almost be wrung out. We left our name and a dry bag.
Thanks 64EH for bringing us to this location.

One that TajBentley had already done, we stopped in so I could turn it into a smiley. Great hide, TFTC
Found ok, very surprising to a newbie. Log is slightly wet with all the rain of late, tried to leave the log as rain proof as possible
Nice quick find. Identified it immediately.

I spotted this one before we even stopped. A quick grab, sign and replace and we were off again. Tftc
Out today converting a few dots to smiley faces in the area. I spotted the cache as soon as we rounded the corner. We've been stumped by one like this before. Tftc
Me. ..blind as a bat this morning and couldn't find it after 10 mins. Geowife...About 5 seconds to find it later in the day. Well done kids. ..Good one!
I thought I had already logged this one so went back to make sure it was the same one. It was, found log on the ground it could do with replacing, placed it in a bag and returned safely.
2:40:00 PM. Walked down the street and into GZ. Nice and quiet and we started to look and both spotted it at the same time. Log signed and cache returned. Thanks 64EH for placing this cache.
Found on a caching trip to Ballarat with Freddo and Team Waldron, after finishing the BSRT trail we decided to drive around and grab a few more caches, another quick find for us. TFTC

This was our third attempt to find this cache, the previous two attempts being muggled out by keen badminton players.
After attending the nearby Leap Day Breakfast event, this one was spotted and grabbed quickly by Chunk on the way home. Obviously no badminton this time of the morning. Thank you for this cache as it enabled us to get the Leap Day souvenir.

Found quickly on a blustery windy day with no muggles in sight. Once you've found ones like this - then you spot others pretty quickly. Tftc
After spending time checking where I thought it would be, I suddenly noticed the cache. I remember having one of those kids badminton sets when I was a kid. Tftc 64EH.
Found It!
I came here in the morning and the place was full of people. So I came back in the late afternoon and they were all leaving in droves. So a quick and easy find after that! The cache is missing one of it's magnets and without it, the logbook may fall out.

Found with Emthegem and TeamLauren. We've seen quite a few of these hides recently and Emthegem spotted it as we approached GZ. Fortunately we were able to quickly sign the log before any muggles spotted us. Thanks for the hide.
Found with doormatt and teamlauren. a nice way to celebrate teamlauren finding her 500th cache.
Tftc. This cache marks a special celebration "500 caches". We've seen these caches before so had an idea when we saw it from afar. Emthegem saw it from a distance as we were walking towards it. Found with emthegem and Doormatt during weekend in Ballarat.
A quick driveby. Tftc

Giving this one a favorite, very ingenious little hidey hole. Took the arsenal of tools to help but still missed it for about half an hour of poking around in cobwebs etc. Most enjoyable TFTC
Staying a few days in Ballarat on our tour of Australia using Geocaching as a guide.
Isn't this game SO FABULOUS! It takes us to places of interest in so many towns. We have met many people over our few years who we are proud to call friends just through this crazy game!
Cachers usually have a common interest to show off your home town and the many places you would like people to visit. So today we explored Ballarat using Geocaching.
Keep on having FUN with Geocaching. Just what Geocaching is worldwide to 2.6+million people so they can't be wrong! So keep at it full steam ahead guys!
We managed to find your cache today, thanks for feeding our GeoAddiction.

Thankfully I had an idea as I pulled up that that particular spot would hold the cache.
No body around meant that i could sign the log without trouble.
Tag-along used to play badmington in Nagambie many many years ago and loved it. He is a grandpa now.
Forgot to say the log has been very wet and nearly full too.

What else do geocachers do when having a weekend away geocaching[?]
Take some friends and make it a darned good weekend!
Moneydork, Tounga, Sushilord, Uni & Medusa, Skippy & Audra and myself headed to Ballarat and we had a blast!
Enjoyed tea with some local geocachers on Saturday night: Sully1, Bogong Hazy and Snaphappy [^]
Kayaked on Sunday and then rode pushbikes too
The things we do for geocache finds, I haven't been on a bike for years!
All up, I found 113 caches and had 4 DNFs
We even managed to find some that we had DNFd last time!
I apologise now for the generic logs on these caches. I am unexpectedly heading back to the area now, about 5 weeks later, and am madly logging so that I know what I have and haven't found.
Please understand that due to some issues this end, I have been short on time and therefore haven't logged these as I would normally do, with a seperate comment for each cache.
I thank each and every cache owner for the wonderful caches which we found in the suburbs and in the bush!

Found with my Hero Husband (Moneydork) and lots of lovely friends on the last day of our caching weekend.
Found this arvo with the 2 geokids whilst picking sulkybear up from bowls. I've had a quick look a few times before as we are here every week for swimming but there is always too many people about. Today it was found lying on floor broken and log completely saturated with water. Cache is in need of some TLC. Thanks for the hide though
As per below. Broken (we put it back but may need work) and needs new logbook too
In Ballarat today to attend the CITO with Misschief18 so once our duties and catch up with others was over it was off to find some local caches.
Was able to drive almost to GZ and saw something that wasn't quite right and yes it was the cache. Thanks 64EH

We walked up for the antiques fair and brought along the GPSr to pick up a couple of caches along the way. The building played havoc with the GPSr so while we were waiting for it to settle down we walked about the building and found it. The log is dry and all is well. TNLN SL Thanks for the Hide!!!
