Logs
One or more of the following has occurred:
No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future, just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it still meets the current
guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
There is a lot of confusion as to what people are searching for.
A clearly labeled container is required.
I noticed that this cache has been unavailable for an extended period of time without maintenance occurring as set out in the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever.
Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a reviewer note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days detailing when it will be replaced, so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a reviewer note every month (28 Days) to keep everyone up to date.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice

We searched and searched for this cache. We think this has gone missing. There is no sign of a cache container at GZ.
We searched and searched. We were desperate to find this one after slogging all the way up here. After reading the previous few logs we reckon this cache is missing. We found no cache container. We did find a few scraps of paper under a rock signed by a group of walkers on the 15th Jan, but this was clearly not the cache (we added our name to it anyway!). A nearby cache listed on the Geocaching Australia site was an easy find.
Not 100% sure that this is the cache, but we found and signed a card that was in it. We found quazy for quamby nearby.
Very snowy today but so beautiful as usual!
Found by siblings Jonny, Alisha (both Bradburys) and Jess (formerly a Bradbury!)

Wasn't me up here this time, but my buddy who visited doesn't have an account so asked me to write this for her. The contents of the container were very wet (she placed what paper she had with her inside so people could continue to sign the physical log). Probably needs a new container and definitely needs a new logbook. Thanks!
Pretty sure this one is gone, there was a container up there with some very wet contents as it was damaged and we found the nearby cache but not this one.
I'll add a picture of the container we did find but it looks a lot like the one a previous cacher posted...

We found this one when we reached the summit, in the pouring rain. No views for us today, we were inside a cloud. Dropped off some trackables, unfortunately the cache container is cracked and will need to be replaced as it is not currently water proof (along with my boots, backpack and most of my clothing, haha). Hello. Sorry you did not find the GC. It is neither of the 2 you have photographed. It was a nice water tight clear container. It saddens me a little somebody has potentially removed it. It was placed at the trig point and was originally not hidden from view. I have been looking forward to a return visit of Quamby so I will look at getting back up there soon.
BEFORE SETTING OFF TO LOOK FOR THIS CACHE please read our log for GA1055 Quazy for Quamby. There appears to be considerable confusion as to which cache is which and the role of the summit logbook on top of Quamby Bluff.
We had been planning a walk to Quamby Bluff for sometime and today was the day. It was a little overcast when we left home but as we walked in, the weather cleared into a great day - clear skies, little or no wind.
During our research we had read about the walk to Quamby Bluff and it sounded interesting. The experience today exceeded our expectations. The walk through the myrtle and melaleuca forests was wonderful. The carpet of myrtle leaves, the frequent fungi, the lichen on trees, the mosses on rocks and the magnificent trees made for a breathtaking visual experience. Even the clambers up the rock scree on the boulder field and the final ascent to the plateau gave us a sense of achievement and enjoyment. From the top of Quamby Bluff we could see a very long way in every direction. The only downside was the smoke in various areas from forrest fuel reduction burns. However this one aspect did not detract from Quamby Bluff being a wonderful vantage point.
Unfortunately we did not find this cache. We found GA1055 Quazy for Quamby and the summit logbook but not the cache for King Quamby. We spent over an hour looking under every rock around the trig point (King Quamby has exactly the same coordinates as TP5229 Quamby Bluff) and for a further distance of 5m all around but did not find King Quamby.
We also noticed that the last to log a find for King Quamby were Thyla and Thyle (15 Jan 2013) but we saw that they had signed the summit logbook. Did they sign two logbooks (the summit logbook and that for King Quamby) or just the summit logbook and thought that this was the logbook for King Quamby?
The previous finder was Taure-rana (23 Nov 2012) who clearly distinguished between the summit logbook container and another container with a logbook. Taure-rana had not signed the logbook for GA1055 Quazy for Quamby. Given that Taure-rana signed a logbook which was not the summit logbook, it is highly probable that Taure-rana was the last person to find King Quamby but we could not find where it was hidden despite extensive searching.
We have added two photos showing the containers for Quazy for Quamby and the summit logbook. This might help others identify what they have found. If they find a different container, it is probably King Quamby.
We would appreciate either the cache owner or Taure-rana adding their knowledge to the situation - even better if it could be checked out.

Such a beautiful day meant that I had to go somewhere and Quamby Bluff has been an intended destination for 30 years. So after a slow start I left the carpark at 2pm. A fairly steep climb through mainly open forest and over a little bit of scree got me to the top at about 3.45pm to be rewarded with extensive views all around.
There was a large container full of logged visits to the summit lying on the ground but I quickly ascertained that it was not the cache, and put that one back under a rock. The real cache was easy to find and is always a bonus at the top of a mountain - the reward of making it up, peak bagging points and a cache!
