We looked for ages with no luck....there were syringes and broken glass everywhere...given we had kids with us it wasn't the best cache to go searching for...pretty irresponsible place for a cache
Didn't find this one. Maybe disturbed by muggles? Did find an empty soft drink bottle with syringes inside, and lots of empty beer bottles and broken glass. An interesting place with great views, but perhaps not an ideal place for a cache. Also no parking closeby.
Spent a good deal of time with this one with zero success. Great old tree with lots of hiding places and obviously one I did not see. Found a bottle which I first thought to be the cache UNTIL I looked inside to discover 2 new syringes. With all the broken glass etc I would think this is an area frequented by undesirables after dark.
We spent over an hour. 4 of us scratching and pulling and hunting all over, We didn't find either of the things others have found. we left very sore from all the ankle twisting.
We made our way over from HMAS Ipswich and spotted the pyramid from afar. Scaling the wall, it was fairly apparent where the cache would be. Once we reached the top, we started out searching. There were plenty of places for the cache to be located, as well as plenty of broken glass. Found a couple of curiosities, a lighter, pair of old glasses and a thong, though nothing I could see as a cache. I even resorted to climbing up the tree. It would have been a good 25 minutes after I decided to call it quits, so I left back down the slope.
TFTC, I shall be back.
TFTC, I shall be back.
Had a few minutes to kill and decided to see if I could find this one. Spent quite a while checking out a few of the more obvious spots with no luck. Changed my point of attack and soon spotted an evil hide. Signed log and replaced.

Had a look at the cache and saw that it has been muggled... Will place a new one over the weekend
Looked for this one for ages. Not good in the heat. A little concerned by all the broken glass, some evidence of sodium chloride vials - the type used in hospital - so whats being going on there concerns me that there is a cache located in that area. Looked up the previous finders co-ords but still not found.
Well, this turned out to be an exercise in frustration. Scoured the area around GZ thoroughly with Nurseyjulie and Guddink. Then noted the logs by previous exasperated cachers and concentrated on GaznKab's updated coords which were a significant distance from GZ.
The cache is required to be located at the posted coords, so not sure where the error occurred with this listing? The clue seems to be irrelevant.
In any case the only thing uncovered was a long narrow container that was broken. Later at our lunch stop, I called a PAF who indicated that what Nurseyjulie found may have been the muggled cache.
Lots of broken glass up here! Please wear closed in shoes!
Hope the CO can resolve the problems with this cache [

Found this with Drip. We found the sarcophagus and provided a better covering/burial.
A lovely spot to be, our first climb of the pyramid!

The boyfriend thought he had found this one at first but then saw the actual cache whilst picking up the little sarcophagus. Quite weird but I think it must be someone's former pet.....
The clue didn't really help to find the cache either. It's a good location the design just might need a bit of refining. TFTC

Hmm, this cache is a bizarre little number that I think definitely needs some rethinking by the owner, and reading previous logs, I am not alone here.
Whint and I were in the area and found this to be a beggar of a spot to find a park for, we did, but it was about a 400m walk from Queens Park. There was some tree lopping going on nearby, but they didn't take any notice of us. Up to the pyramid, the purpose of which I am not sure, but up we went and the GPS led me to a spot with about a million options. Hmm, I whizzed through previous logs and found alternate co-ords, which led us some distance away. Perhaps the cache owner should look into rechecking this, I have posted the numbers that worked for us today.
When we started looking there, we found the 'extra' container at GZ which appears to be some memorial or something. Certainly not something a cache should be near and maybe this warrants a relocation of the cache, perhaps to the posted co-ords. As Whint said, she handed the 'casket' to me, but it was then I spotted the cache container. It was only then that the int made sense. We added our names and left everything as found. Hmm, a bit bizarre indeed and I would encourage a bit of an owner rethink here. An interesting and quixotic structure here though. TFTC X209.

Parked over the road and Captain Terror and I walked across to GZ... there were a bunch of tree loppers just nearby but thankfully not in view of the hide... made our way up ALL those stairs {my legs were really sore from the gym} I spotted the likely hiding place immediately How strange there was a few dead flowers on top, looked almost like a grave... then I moved the rocks and found a little tomb... well no wonder it was made to look like a grave... but how to open it... it looked like it was glued shut... handed it to the Captain and he made the same conclusion... then he glanced up and spotted the REAL cache... oh, how awkward.... this little tomb that looked like a grave... really did seem to be just that :/ I am not sure what the meaning behind it is.. perhaps a lost love? Or a much loved pet? I don't really want to know what was in that lovely little tomb... but I still felt bad for disturbing it I replaced back in its grave, placed the flowers carefully back again and we made ourselves busy with the real cache.
Perhaps the CO might want to re-consider this hide... maybe just move a little bit? I don't know, but the 'grave' is alot more obvious than the real cache and no doubt will be damaged by cachers without realising what they are doing??
Either way, made for an interesting time, logbook was signed and we went on our merry little way

Arrived at 'GZ' and things just didn't look right. A quick glance at previous logs gave me updated coordinates to work with. With new coordinates entered in, I approached GZ and quickly spotted something suspicious. This was the cairn previous finders mentioned!!! [:o] I felt extremely uncomfortable about this and quickly found the correct container. I understand that this probably wasn't there when you placed the cache so I would suggest updating the coordinates ASAP and also noting the presence of the cairn in the description or moving the cache further away as others suggested. A nice spot with lovely views. Thanks X209
Another crazy day of caching with Brother Colin
A most interesting event. We reached the pyramid and began our search, but came up with nothing. There were some other co-ords in gaz'n'kab's log, so we followed them. At this GZ we found a little cairn and inside was a small Egyptian sarcophagus which was sealed shut. Our guess is that it's a memorial, possibly containing someone's ashes Please do not despoil it. Slightly above this is the cache. I suggest that the cache be moved away from the memorial, perhaps closer to the original GZ. TFTC, X209.

Out and about with IolantheK after a bit of a hike this morning.
2 points about this cache.
- Now this cache is not at the published co-ords. We used other co-ords in a log. Not the first time this has happened and usually nothing to worry about except for the second point.
- About 1m from the cache is a little 'tomb'. We thought this was the cache at first but then worked out it is not. It is a small cairn containing (what we think) is someones ashes. There are some dried flowers and a little Egyptian mummy as well. DO NOT TOUCH this please.
So my suggestion is for the CO to move the cache around the other side of the tree, closer to the published co-ords to leave the cairn alone. I am sure there is a hole or something there that will be suitable for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
After having a lovely lunch nearby, we made our way closer to GZ and walked up the footpath to the park. Slowly, we made our way to the top carefully avioding the broken glass in the area. After a bit of searching about and admiring the view we located the cache, the co-ords were a bit off for us today. Have posted what our GPSr read at GZ.

Interesting tress on top of this rise. We walked across from Queens Park, and past the stonework to GZ. Well, the GZ that we had. The cache was finally found a little distance away by Bettyboo.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 1140. Aaah, having found it recently but only just logging now, I see that previous finders were finding the coords out by a distance. That would explain a lot. Three of us were searching this fantastic site, under these magnificent and ancient fig trees and we were getting nowhere. I left the fellows and wandered around to the other side and began searching. To my surprise I found the cache and what a nifty cache it was. Thanks for bringing us to this pyramid and these wonderful trees that have such a history. TFTC.
We wandered over from the nearby Queens cache to admire the stonework and view from this unique spot.
The trees were impressive and hid many secrets including a cache.
You do need to be carful where your hands go but the nice little container gave up without a fight.
Thanks X209

took us a second visit to find this one, cant believe we didn't see it the 1st time. TFTC
Been past this monument many times but this is the first time I have climbed it on foot. Great views and an amazing tree up on top. Had to play hide and seek with the council mowing team for about ten minutes but found the sucker. Word of warning though, the site is obviously used from time to time by drug takers found bong and needle during search. So I would be careful after dark. Thanks for the cache X209
Found it while taking some shots of this amazingly pretty place thanks for the cache
The hint seems to describe the container when we eventually find it. Disappointed to see this area is littered with broken glass. Wear shoes and gloves!
TFTC. Wanted to collect the tractor to bring to interstate next week, but sure it will have a great trip to UK.

Find number 3 on our first day geocaching in Australia. Took us ages to find this as the coordinates are way off. Trap door? Didn't get it!
All is good though as we grabbed a tractor TB.

I've always meant to stop for a look at this and never did. I must have gone by here thousands of times over the years. But not today, finally I had a reason to visit. This one was very elusive, past logs indicated the coordinates may be out and I'd have to agree. I'll post the coordinates the trusty Oregon gave me at GZ, although accuracy was not a good as I'd have liked. The search was a long one and the hint was no help either, what trap door? I was about to give up when I got lucky and found the cache. Happy to get my name on this one. Dropped off a little tractor TB to keep it moving. TFTC X209
Was out doing queens park caches when this one popped up on map when I got to gz ipswichsearches was already there we jointly tried to find it with no luck many likely hiding spots but couldn't zero in on this one nice to meet fellow cachers search goes on
Now this is a great spot for a cache... Perched nice and high above muggles and able to enjoy the view while hunting... Perfect... [^]
I arrived at GZ to find, like An Old Hag, that the GPS wanted me in the corner of the retaining wall, by the steps. After a quick glance, it was obvious the cache was not going to be there... So, like the previous finders, I headed into a place that was more likely to conceal a cache...
It took me a good 15 minutes to unveil what I had come for, but I found it in a likely hidey hole... Log out and name in, I tucked it away and added a little more camo to the top. The camo was a little light on when I found the cache...
Thanks for bringing me up here, it's another place I would not have come if not on the hunt...
Cheers X209.

Saw this one come up not far from home and geopoppy said that we should go and look for it.
As it was late at night we drove right into the grounds and parked beside the pyramid, It was then that I realised that I should have changed my shoes - Oh well - so while geopoppy went up the 'big steps' I walked around and followed the normal stairway to the top.
The Oregon said that GZ was on the path, however there was no cache to be found, so we started on the hunt in all the obvious places. We had looked in roughly half the likely spots when a torchlight appeared - nice to finally meet your Irony9 , and she soon had the cache in hand after looking in only one spot
Irony9 insisted that it should be a joint *FTF* as we were both looking at the same time - Thanks Irony9, the joint *ftf* is greatly appreciated. It was good having a chat to your after the find
I would say that the cache is a good 8mt out by my Oregon, but with all the tree cover that is to be expected, however I firmly believe that the terrain rating should be a 3 -definitely higher than a 2 as listed.

Arrived at this one and wasnt sure where best to park until I spotted another vehicle already here. I could see torches still flashing around so realised the race was still on. Of course I had the advantage given that I could see where torches were shining and didnt really need to glance at my GPSr. Quick introductions were made and the search continued but I was incredibly lucky to put my hand on it in the first place I looked (and there were lots of places to look!). Wouldn't have gotten it nearly as easily if it hadnt been for help from an old hag so we are agreed that this one was a genuine joint *FTF*. TFTC X209 - I have driven past here a thousand times but never taken the time to actually stop - that's what caching is all about for me...
