Tricky find.

Found with Henatron whilst on our way home from a short holiday in Orkney. Along the way we did a fair bit of geocaching, saw some amazing sights and learnt a lot of history. We stopped off in John O Groats and had a lovely walk along to pick up some caches. This one took a while and had to retrace our steps before we spotted it!

Lovely wee holiday with Hopeinthedark up to Orkney for a few days, and found time to do a few geocaches on our way back home afterwards. Took us a while to find this one, even with the hint but our GPS seemed to be several metres out.

Last one for the day and another one in this area. Decided on a day trip up from Inverness and had a great day out sightseeing and caching.

Thanks for the lure up here. Dropped a couple of TB's to continue their travels.

Greetings from Australia....

Found on a very wet visit to John O' Groats whilst stealthily sneaking away from the other bangers. TFTC

Left a glass butterfly, took a happy yellow figure. Put damp stuff in a bag, but it started raining too hard to dry it out. TFTC

This is one of the caches I found on our way to the Orkneys. As we were early for the ferry at Gills Bay we used the time to visit John o' Groats. I was able to find some of the caches close to the tourist information. As soon as I am back home I will add some photos to our finds in Scotland if a corresponding picture is available (#1770).

We visited John O'Groats on a really nice dry sunny day, lovely views across to the Orkneys.

What a day - we headed toward John O'Groats, not just to look at the North Sea but to try and bag our northern most geocache. The scenery was spectacular and of course the castles dotted along the way made it even more special. We found a good number of caches like this one and also managed a visit to Dunrobin Castle.
There was no sign of Jenny Giraffe TB or the camera to take a pic.

TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to North end for the hunt.

Staying in Brough, with magnificent views of the Pentland Firth, and the Orkneys. Great day for caching.
Cleverly done.
