Sadly another cache has gone missing, or well at least part of it. Found the remains of it but at the time I was unable to fix it, If i am in the area again I may make sure to get the parts needed to replace this clever cache. Either way it was a rather quick hunt and I have photo proof of me with the hide if need be. Anyways thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

We are staying in St Andrews for our annual Mornington Peninsula holiday, so after settling in to the holiday house we set off to find this cache. Within 30 seconds of us arriving here the little girl from next doir came running and in and was surprised to see us but then went about her business of choosing some rosemary sprigs to take back to Mum lol
After she left the phone and gps both kept jumping between sides of the driveway so we checked both sides before finally noticing something then checking both sides. The cache was then unearthed, clever spot!
TFTC jordyrocks - fave point from us!! GJMMelb

While we had a hint from a previous couple its a nice area and love the facilities here. Looked with AGC and 2JGCs
Enjoying another weekend on the peninsula before the crowds descend here for the Christmas/Summer Holidays.
After a quick look around GZ I narrowed my search to a possible location and on my third search I eventually found something that revealed the cache to me.
Thank you to the CO and other geocachers who have maintained and repaired this cache for others to enjoy.

Need a little bit of a leg up
Actual found the original cache container and was able to retrieve it. Attached to the end of the retrieval device. Signed both log. No coin in cache.

Glad for the agile Cracka1. After he forgot the pen I had to enter GZ with the many bees and left smelling very purple.
Well I see some finders have recently found this and I'm hoping it was the cache I put in just today. I contacted CO regarding offering to adopt this cache but did not get a response as they appear to be inactive. Attached a new container to the string and am hoping it holds, if it doesn't, oh well...
Thanks for the find jordyrocks!
Thanks for the find jordyrocks!
Well I found what was supposed to be the cache. From reading logs, many finders have done temporary repairs/replacements but CO does not seem to be active. It's a good hide and if I log a maintenance, it could be archived eventually, which would be sad, so I may get back here at some stage and put in a container as I wasn't able to sign a log here.
Once you find it, all the clues make sense.
Just as we were about to make our escape, someone from the club was coming down to check us out.
Gee they're strict. Hope they don't investigate our activities further.
Thanks jordyrocks.
Chiefton!!!

Put a container and log to replace the lost cache. Reminded me of our first ever cache as a group at the end of a rope inside a tree in the Botanical Gardens and wanted this cache to continue into the future. Hopefully the replacement will last a long time for others to discover and enjoy. Dropped off a geocoin for next finder to move along on it's journey.
Wow on something like our 5th attempt thanks to all the hints! What a great one, shame its not intact and no log. Took a picture for proof of find.
Caught up with Moosetash and decided to grab a few caches together. A muggle who knew all about this, came along while searching for this one but we had it in hand. While returning this, the temporary log unfortunatley fell, now not retrievalble. Needs replacing by CO.
Thanks jordyrocks for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

We pulled up and had an initial look. Then the Moose called out a muggle warning, however the muggle called out 'found it yet?' so we had a quick chat as Mr Happy feet retrieved the hide, being the most agile of us all. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
We headed here for it filled a void in our DT matrix
Initial searches turned up negative
But then the ham tuned into the right wavelength
Thanks, we really liked it

Where a lot of people around for a cold winter day, thankfully no rain, timed my run and definitely tested my climbing ability, thanks to suscoe for the temporary log, good hide hope it can be restored properly.
That was great! Cool spot. Giggled our way through trying to not look obvious to muggles. TFTC
No my first attempt had a feeling it might have been muggled. Many thanks to Suscoe for the temporary log
This cache needs urgent maintenance / TLC from the CO.
It seems that the CO might not be caching anymore.
Something needs to be done to this cache, we provided a temporary solution for the moment.

Suscoe visited this spot today.
Found the string, pulled it up and there was a plastic cap and nothing else.
So we created a temporary log, popped it in a zip lock bag and tied it to the string.
The we popped it back in the brick post.
With the CO not visiting the site any more we are not sure about maintenance.
Thanks jordyrocks, shame about it falling into disrepair.

Found it but came up without clip lock container attached, so we attached a temporary container plus treasures.
Found with Tokass at 18:00. This was our second attempt, obviously we did not consider an ultimate investigation at the time, but today we were prepared to take the extra steps. Almost lost the sunnies but the cache was carefully retrieved. TFTC
On a road trip collecting caches after attending the Melbourne Mega.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

Out and about with Liz & Bruce, we had a late start to our caching today, as we had been experimenting with and exploring some of the possibilities of the software demonstrated at the Maker Madness Event.
We were guided to the GZ by a 'neighbor in the know' and quickly figured out the system here, unfortunately the cache is no longer attached to the mechanism. A number of unsuccessful attempts were made to recover the container. In the end Bruce was able to attach a temporary container until the CO is able to make it more robust.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to jordyrocks for the hunt.

This cache is in need of owner attention. Temporary repairs conducted to keep the cache functioning but CO needs to attend to the cache.

Out with Phetlerns today in a lovely part of Victoria. We have visited this area once before with Phetlerns but still plenty of caches for us to seek to get a smiley. We tried to retrieve the cache with various means but in the end replaced the cache container/log scroll with one we had that could be tied off efficiently. Thanks to jordyrocks.
Find #1209. Found @ 21:30.
The retrieval mechanism is still there, but no longer attached to the container. As I was able to do all the required steps to claim the find, but the cache is broken stopping me from signing the log. I'm going to claim it anyway.
I've sent a message to the CO, and offered to show him a photo I've taken in leu of signing the log book. The photo also shows the status of the hide.
Took nothing, left nothing, didn't sign log, snapped a picture and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache jordyrocks.

Didn't find the cache. Night time search was tricky with minimal lighting, but I also suspect it was due to the need for maintenance as described in previous logs.
Needs maintenance. Found with the lid off and the lid, log and contents out of reach.
I had a great day with my two boys today, out and about for a bit of a drive down the Peninsula. We found five caches as well which the boys had fun finding. It didn't rain for a change but it was still quite cool.
We parked right next to GZ and I soon worked out where the cache might be. I extracted the cache but only the bottom part was attached, the lid, log and contents where on the ground below. I tried to retrieve what I could with a stick but to no avail. The cache will need some maintenance to get it up and running again.
Thanks.

A quick night run with good friends. Well done to Rantosis for getting his hands on this awesome little cache. TFTC
Out for a peninsula caching run with Earthbound Chief in the pouring rain but what better time for muggle free hunting. Cache was easily found seeings as the Chief has been here before. TFTC.
Out for another assault on Point Nepean and the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula with Stemicmitsar.
With a bit of deductive reasoning, the hide was soon discovered. Fortunately for me, Steve being younger than me made the retrieve.
This is an excellent cache. Well thought out and executed and an excellent hint which itself required some reasoned thinking. A favourite point from me. SL Took TB. TFTC

Out with Biggles1024 for another cache run to Point Nepean and back.
This is a really nice cache hide which had us thinking for a little while, then it was time to investigate a little further, once that was done the cache was found. Well done.
Thanks to jordyrocks for this cache and all the caching fun.

Spent quite a while searching in the neighbourhood of the coords but could not find anything that was referred to in the description or the hint. Got a bit embarassed as cars drove in and out. Finally decided to move on.
what an awesomely cool cache. took a little bit to find but after applying some logic i managed to find it. i was quite happy to find the cache at ground level! was happy to make the jouney here for this cache, favourite point from me
It took myself and ikkibrady a long time to find this one before we finally clicked. A great hide. tftc
Find # 2586
Date 27th Jan 2013
Time 11:40 AM
It was a long weekend and the plan was to head out today towards Flinders, Cape Schnack and anywhere else the caching community decided to take us. The priority was a few hoodoo caches that we had attempted in the past, but for some reason or other had failed to find. So my caching bud SedgwickDave picked me up bright an early and we headed off for a day of fun, laughter, some walking and of course caching along the peninsula.
another fantastic hide from jordyrocks for a different reason to my previous find. we really had to think outside the square for this one. A fun cache, although we did at one point have to hide from a muggle that was bringing the bins out. [8)]
Thanks to jordyrocks for the cache.

Had it not been for a previous finder who initially got a dnf on their first attempt - I bragged that I should be able to smash it on the first attempt - HA HA sure enough the cache was hidden precisely how I anticipated - Nicely executed.
Thx for the hide jordyrocks.

Out getting the L-Plater some more hours on the clock. Once we figured out what needed to be done EB99 volunteered to test out my theory. We made use of the nearby abandoned sole to help. Thank goodness I was correct or she would have been 'not happy!' Signed log & replaced! Good one!

Out once more with Ahomburg on our usual weekend run and once more returning to some familiar lands in an attempt to clear them out once and for all. We started out heading to Flinders to tackle some nemesis caches and then following the coast westward and finishing the run in Rosebud. Weather conditions ideal in the mid 20s and a nice southerly breeze.[^] Total finds today were 13 with 3 DNFs not a bad result at all; and of course the 3 cache type rule also completed.
Took a bit of searching and the use of the hint to finally twig to where it would be. During the hunt we both had to go dark due to a muggle near by with bins. "Be the wall, be the wall".... With that drama over the hunt resume and within a few moments later the nice size cache was in hand, nice.[^] TFTC jordyrocks.

Omg a very painful cache, i found it but it left me with a few grazes. Great adventure.
Sneaky! Would never have found it without the help of my friends, who are now big Geocaching fans! TFTC!
Loved it! Would never have found it without my newly converted geofriends! Made swaps SL tftc
I don't know...I do cryptic crosswords all the time BUT still nearly missed this one for the 2nd time! Very neat very sneaky Found in company of TrudyJane.
In company with Geospouse GrahamT with whom (and others) I had tried to locate this a while back....and then he had a flash of inspiration (desperation??) and cache was in hand! Very challenging... and the bike is till there.
Second cache today with family - brothers come in handy sometimes! Logbook slightly damp, should have independent ziplock bag. TNLNSL, TFTC.

Attended a wedding last night so bit seedy. Geowife chose to sleep of her excess while I sweated mine out with a few caches! Found this one pretty quickly. Took nothing, left TB. TFTC.
Found an abandoned bird's nest with 2 eggs in it. Nothing else....and had the help of another cacher and 2 friendly muggles and.....oh there was a push bike as well....string, ground level, bird's eye view....no help at all.
On Sully1's and my second day on the peninsula, we visited some great areas and saw some terrific sights. This read a lot harder than it was, as I got lucky and found this clever hide straight away.
A nice variation of the usual hide, well done jordyrocks

Found this with bogonghazy today whilst on a quick trip to the Peninsula. Although older than me, he's much fitter and more agile than I can ever hope to be these days, so he had the cache summed up in a blink, logged and returned. Thanks to jordyrocks for the cache.
Enjoyed this cache. It was nice to have to think about it for a while before searching. It paid off. Thanks jordyrocks.
Was here with Natasha today and must admit we scratched our heads for a while over this one. Eventually I had an idea.... Woo hoo I was right. So satisfying to find it. Great hide! Gets a favourite from me Took geocoin, left puppy TB. TFTC
Arrived here with Pea bear thinking I knew what this would be. WRONG!!! After looking for a bit Pea bear said ' what about ??????' and bingo she was right. Thanks Jordy for another well thought out cache.
