DNF. Muggle in nearby house surprised us with a visit while we were looking for this one. It appears the cache disappeared some time ago as he knew where it was and how it was attached. No sign of it now and no cover for the cache to hide in. Owner please check.
Couldn't find it, it looks like there has been a bit of shrub removal and the cache has been removed.
I think the Terrain may have changed here, and the cache may even be gone, but I was not hanging around searching given the proximity of locals. May need a CO check.
Cheers
There was a bird nesting in the region I thought to look. Decided to move along and come back another time.
Yay, this me and my friends 3rd geocache we have found. It's always exciting when you find a new one. This one needs some new paper as it was quite damaged, but thanks for the great geocache
Second time finding, showing a very good friend of mine what GC'ing is! Heheh ! The joys of watching someone find their first cache !!! :3
Having a phat time with 4ando, the geocaching heroes of ours. Went to see some fireworks before deciding we'd find our first joint cache. SL. Tftc
This cache has turned into an ant colony (seriously). Couldn't log the cache as was infested and the lid open. tftc

Another early morning start today back down The Thin Black Line again towards Redcliffe to finish some business and try to complete the Friends Series. Nice little cache thanks for bringing me here and for the adventure
Thanks for the great cache and adventure yoshi11thehappy
This Day in History
Roman emperor Julius Caesar is assassinated, receiving between 23 and 35 stab wounds.
Gaius Julius Caesar was born on 13 July 100 BC in Rome. His conquest of Gaul extended the Roman territory all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, with the first Roman invasion of Britain in 55 BC. He is regarded as one of the greatest military strategists of all time, as well as a brilliant politician. As leader of the Roman world, Caesar implemented extensive reforms of Roman society and government. He overthrew the already faltering government of the weak Republic, and was proclaimed Dictator for life. Caesar's friend Marcus Brutus conspired with around 60 other senators to assassinate Caesar in hopes of saving the Republic, and to prevent Caesar from being declared 'King'.
The assassination took place on 15 March 44 BC, known as the Ides of March, an auspicious day in the Roman calendar. It is said that a soothsayer warned Caesar ahead of time of the date. The phrases "Beware the Ides of March" and "Et tu, Brut?" (denoting the ultimate in betrayal from a friend) from Shakespeare's 'Julius Caesar', are two of the most remembered lines of any of Shakespeare's plays.

After doing a dog rescue at the last cache we drove on up to this one. What really caught my eye in this area was the beautifully painted water tank. It was so pretty. We had to head the other way though for the cache. We found cache quicker than I thought we would. It was however just an ants nest. We emptied all the poor ants and their babies / eggs out. Signed log and rehid. TFTC.
Found this one, a little tricky. Have been told it was up high. Now it's not. Tftc no pen so took photo as proof Burdons5
Nice one! I was unable to get the lid off to sign the log so I hope that picture proof is enough. TFTC!
After a short circular walk around tree, found container where the GPS was pointing. TFTC
Harder one to find as the coordinates take you to someone's backyard!!!! Found it though
Quick find by our geoson. Tftc! Log was damp, but signable, container is a bit rough, hard to open, but otherwise great!!

Down this way today with Snow Bear to explore the area and pick up a few caches around here.
With hint in mind and no one around we managed to discover the cache quite quickly. TFTC

Out caching with my geo-sister today and this one was the first on out map.. Unfortunately after spending 30 minutes checking every single bush and making sure it wasn't just covered by dead leaves we couldn't find it. :c
We'll be sure to check back soon!
MAKE SURE YOU BRING REPELLANT! There are so many mosquitoes!

MAKE SURE YOU BRING REPELLANT! There are so many mosquitoes!
Jim and Harry from the Crazy Cat Family found this today.
We had to look for quite a while before returning to the car to check the hint, which confirmed it should be where we were looking for it. We then resumed looking and found it straight away! There's a well maintained swing-park and basketball court there so try not to go when muggle younglings would be around. Good luck, all you other hunters!
TFTC, Yoshi!

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I drove by recently but did not stop to try to find cache again. However, the bushes are still there although previous post says they are not. Whether the cache is still there remains to be seen.
Spent about five minutes rummaging around bushes. There was a very nosy muggle neighbour watching my every move so I had to scram.
On a Redcliffe caching day, after making some finds on the nearby trail, we headed back to the car via this cache.
A quick find today, thanks for the cache yoshi11thehappy.

Wouldn't you believe it! Murphy's Law!
Limited parking here so I pull the Geo-beast up at the end of the street, in a quaint little parking spot, to be greeted by a sign that said 'No stopping - Wednesdays' WTF! Guess what? Today is Wednesday! LOL ...
Being a law abiding citizen I totally ignored the sign & we went in for the kill!
It was not long before we had a cache log in hand. Signed, sealed & delivered!
Now, a quick escape before I get a parking ticket or something. As it turned out, it was because the streets were narrow & the garbage collection was on Wednesday! As we left we passed the garbage truck coming in & as fate would have it the make of the truck was 'Dennis'. Well, guess what? My name is Dennis too so if that Dennis can park there so could I, at least that's my argument! LOL ...

Wow!! Day 44 of my three-month trip to Brisbane.
My sister and her family have come down to see Mum and my good self, and to get some decisions made about the clutter in Mum's house. Santa has brought my niece an Etrex 10 for Christmas, so, not wishing further involvement with said clutter, I'm taking my niece, my brother-in-law and my GeoSchnauzers geocaching. Should I happen to get 10 caches today, it will make it exactly nine finds per day for the whole of December. On that little excursion, we found five caches. I'm now on the second outing for the day, with only the GeoSchnauzers. What an adventure. We found two, got beaten off two by hordes of mosquitoes, got deterred from another by plotherai (plethoras) of muggles, but I did get prawns for tea. I then found another but couldn't reach it to log it. I finally found my third for the trip, then missed another due to muggles, and had to go home to get the washing in - I didn't want my Mum of ancient days falling down the steps. So I'm still short two. I think a night caching trip, with mossie repellent, is in order.
This is one of the two where the mossies defeated me. There were hordes of them. Every time I slapped myself, I got at least three, and once I reckon I got ten. There were getting me as well - lots of the black splotches contained red. Even the GeoSchnauzers were unhappy - shaking their heads and snapping. I reckon I could have found it with a bit of persistence, but I would probably have needed a blood transfusion.

Out and about on a very hot day grabbing a few caches on my way to Redcliffe. I managed to find a variety of caches in some very interesting location, this was one of them.
The cache was wet and the logs all mushy so I cleaned it out and put in a new log.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Another day out and about for SP, eliminating pesky green dots around this area!
Okay, this took us longer than it should have. Why? Because we didn't read the cache name. Had we read it and taken the inferences from it (except the last trwo words, not sure about relevance), we would have been on it a lot faster!
TFTC, yoshi11thehappy, it was a little different.

We weren't planning on caching today but we were in the area and our kids were requesting a visit to a playground. I remembered that this was still on our to do list. We were a little uneasy being so close to the house but hubby spotted it quickly and bought it over to me to sign while he went and watched over the kids. The log was damp and is starting to deteriorate. The outer bag had water droplets in it and the inner bag wasn't sealed up properly. I let everything air out in the sun for a few mins but our visit was cut short suddenly due to an angry resident... A magpie. I saw it start to swoop down at my son and I called out to him to warn him. It came so close that he felt it and he let out a loud scream. It continued to swoop and he continued to run around screaming and crying. Hubby (who was over the other side of the playground with our daughter) came to his rescue while I signed the log and packed it all back away in the tube. Hubby returned it to it's hide, we grabbed a few big sticks and waved them over our heads as we made our way back to our car. We must have looked very funny to anyone watching from nearby houses! TFTC
An enjoyable day of caching, our goal was to get to the Redcliffe area but we managed to grab a few along the way. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Nice one [^][^] Thanks to yoshi11thehappy.
Out this afternoon with IolantheK and Brother Colin for a ride on the MTBs
IolantheK had this one so BC and I went off to find it.
The neighbour was in his yard making searching a bit difficult, but in the end BC found it [^]
The cache is dry but the log is damp and in poor condition

Out and about on the MTB with IolantheK and T-tech looking for a few caches to get myself and IolantheK up to a mini milestone.
We managed to find a park and take to the MTB's. After finding a few caches along the bike path, we made our way over to this one as well.
A very quick find here and then we were on our way. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

Dogs were barking and the residents were home right behind the fence, but I put on my stealthy trenchcoat and got the job done. Log is a bit manky. TFTC
After my stroll along the Melaleuca trail I headed to this one and found a park pretty close and strolled over.
There were a few people in the park and kids on the play equipment and I don't like searching in this environment (67yo single males are out of place here)
Luckily I spotted the cache quickly and moved away to sign the log.
As I replaced the cache I noticed that a couple of young muggles were heading in my general direction and that also made me uneasy. They headed to the nearby tap to wash a lollypop which had dropped in the dirt. I had to walk around them to get back to the car.
Glad to get this one out of the way without any confrontations. TFTC.

No find.. We have a feeling this one may have ended up in the park bin. The kiddies still had fun at the playground. We'll be back.
Not a fan of playground hides but there was nobody about but a lady with a small dog and we chatted for a bit. She left and I looked, trying to keep the noise down as the house is very close.
No luck here today

Find #1480 this one was on my radar to find today ,usually Iwill not do ones near playgrounds ,but today there was no one there , the clue was no help TFTC
Out for a great day caching with The Green Geckos. This one was quite exposed. After signing the log we hid it a bit better. Thanks for the cache.
Out on a fun caching day with Kimocean. Was a little on display and the log was quite damp. We added a small baggie and a silica gel pack but some maintenance might be in order.Thank you for placing this one
