Thanks for the cache while I was out on a lovely bushwalk! Wrote note in very feint pencil in the cache. Unfortunately didn't have my own pen.
Out and about for a drive to get some cache numbers up. Came out to explore around these parts out of town, grabbed this cached and wanted to continue on to find some more nearby caches and all the roads were blocked off unfortunately
Today we explored Bendigo and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We enjoyed travelling through the countryside and visiting new, to us, locations. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
Out for a bit of 4WD fun with @Operator & a group of muggles for the weekend…couldn’t resist nicking off to grab this one over lunch. TFTC
Out in the bush doing a 4WD course and found this located nearby. Quick easy find at lunch along with a few others cachers
In Bendigo for the weekend for a freinds 50th birthday so it gave us a chance to get and about exploring the local area with @Smithiesoutbackgear to knock of some caches. Tftc
We finished the smileys today and decided to head for home this way. On the way, I tried to explain 4wding to Geoteen - there's 4wd and there's 4wd........... The road to here was straightforward. This was an easy find once my GPS settled! Many thanks
Not having a 4x4 we attempted this one as the weather of late had been good and it was the next closest from the Campaspe island
Not to bad to get into

Easy find with the help of some kind soul, retrieved and returned from the driver's seat. TN left "happening babe"
What a nice night to go for a drive little bit of rain what fun could we get ourselves into
Needed a quick drive by to fill a day in the cache calendar, so I made the 55km trek to find this prize. I will be back to finish the 4x4 series. TFTC tigersden

I had just left the area of the nearby Milestone caches and was on my way to Axedale to find an old multi there when I noticed this little group of caches on my map. Seeing 4x4 in the title and having just swapped over a set of 22" rims with low profile tyres that were on my geomobile when i purchased it, to now having a much more user friendly set of 18" rims with almost brand new All-terrains, I was prepared to have a crack at these. This first cache was a nice surprise , being listed as a micro and instead finding a much more generously sized container! A few reasonable size ruts in the road but not too bad so far. thx tigersden FTC.

Drove around the steep tracks and found this one easily, now to see if i can get to the middle ones from this side
Lucky I am with ShearingLinc as there is no way I was putting my hand in there!
Easily accessible, and easily found, especially for those with capable four-wheel drives.
The location is a bit obvious, but still definitely interesting find.

We took note of the name of this cache and took it at it's word. Didn't even have to get out of the geovehicle to grab this one, sign and return it. A true driveby and probably the quickest cache we will get today. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.

We thought we’d look at this series of caches, knowing we didn’t have enough time to complete the series today. It also meant that The Driver could get his fix of 4X4 driving for the day. I could almost reach this cache from the car, but I did get out of the car. Unfortunately I was muggled by a couple of fellas driving towards us, but thankfully they continued on the other road before I replaced the cache. We turned off towards Mt Sugarloaf.
Cool ride from home and took a little to find but got it and listed it. Super fun!
Day 9 of our epic trek to the St Arnaud Mega via Geelong and return via wherever the caches are.
The constant was my travel companion for the entire trip, - Anymules but we were joined by other cachers in our travels.
With the Mega event finished we continued caching around Bendigo where we were based for a few days.
Quick find to start this series.
Thanks for the cache.

Out and about on the Geo-Adventure Motorcycle today and grabbing a couple of caches while in the area. A nice quick find, and a great series that I hope to complete at a later date.
Thanks **tigersden**

We found this one whilst out and about today and before we had some minor 4WD issues, that caused us some embarrassment later in the day. Anyway a great intro to the 4X4 drive by series. TFTC from the Inspectorrexream.
We've gotten the hell out of Dodge, . . . err Melbourne, as the place goes crazy about watching other people be active. Bendigo was the destination as we aimed for a number of Challenge caches we currently qualify for. These nearby 4x4 themed caches couldn't be ignored even if we have the 'Town Tyres' on; let's see how far we get!

Having just arrived home yesterday evening after an 8 day trip away[|)], today it was time to head to Ballarat as Cybergran V had wanted to a ride to attend wozzle68's 50th birthday celebration.
Harry managed to find a tree branch while reversing and gave himself an injury: the rear window on the canopy shattered [xx(] at the 2nd cache find for the weekend and yet by the time this was discovered at Castlemaine, many kilometres later, nothing had fallen out of the gaping hole! Whew!! [^]
Cardboard and duct tape saved the day/weekend!
This cache and the next cache had me smiling as I thought of a lovely family of geocachers who I had initially met in Adelaide and I still remembered their passion for 4WDing. [^]
After attending the birthday celebration tea leafotwind, Rex and I headed out doing some caches until late in the night then after a good rest thanks to an extra room at leafotwind's accommodation (which was hugely appreciated [:X]), the next day we attended the breakfast event and then (after Cybergran V rejoined us) we headed out to claim some challenge caches accompanied for a short time by both Mrs and Mr Riddell
With the last cache of the 29 cache finds found at 6pm on the 5th, it was time for the drive back to Shepparton, having attended 2 events and only having 1 DNF and 1 Write note on a challenge cache that I do not yet meet.
As I am about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

Hi there tigersden.
We found your cache **"Par 4x4 Drive By"** today. (This makes our find count 19201).
Another fine day in Bendigo, so we took the opportunity to head out into the bush to complete some "unfinished" business, and to do this cache.
We found 11 caches today (DNF'd 1) & thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid today. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
***Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book is in good shape. It's definitely not a micro!!
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

TFTC - lovely drive and walk in the bush with the family on a Spring Sunday morning!
Very late logging this cache but oh well that is life
Chof_hoe gave me a call and said do I want to go for a drive to Mt Sugarloaf for some 4wding and caching
I said why not, but where the heck is Mt Sugarloaf
So I meet him and his trusty side kick Morty at there place and off for a Sunday drive we went
This is the first one we found and I managed to beat Morty to the cache which is so unusual
Thanks tigersden for bringing me up here TFTC

Posums and I went for an adventure through the Mount Sugarloaf Nature Conservation Reserve today in our trusty 4WDs, along with my trusty partner and caching sidekick.
This was the first cache we found of the day. We found a good spot to pull up, and a couple of minutes of searching we had the cache in hand. TFTC tigersden!

Great fun. Muggle Hubby spotted the possibility of the cache hide, and manoeuvred the XTrail close enough for me to retrieve this from the passenger's window.
Thanks for a bit of fun. We both enjoyed this one

I have been extremely behind in logging our cache finds.
Thank goodness the GPS stores all these finds.
Apologies for the lateness.

Thought it would be fun to have a pic of Jane fetching the cache out of the sunroof...but that would mean standing on the seats...not going to happen when the odometer is less than 4 digits!
3:53:00 PM. After doing some of the local challenge caches we ventured out here. I had to get out to sign this one as the codriver has short arms. Thanks tigersden for placing this cache.
I drove up to this one along Murphy Lane, Minards Lane and Murphy Road in my 2WD Getz. This route wasn't too bad and I got there without incident. The cache itself was an easy find, but it was certainly much larger than a micro so the cache description may need a slight update. A quick brush away of the surrounding cobwebs and the log book was quickly signed. Now onto the next one, but by foot - not taking my 2WD up that other dirt track! Thanks for the cache tigersden!
I was talking to micaparamedic at the MEGA about some of the 4x4 caches in the bendigo area that I needed for my D/T Matrix. He gave me a call a view days later to go and do these caches. I don't have much experience 4w driving, so mica drove
I really enjoyed the experience and really enjoyed the views
Thank you tigersden we had a great day out

Came but nothing there, added a page with my name to zippy bag and a smilie for next person .
Out hunting this little series of 4wd caches today. I actually attempted to do this series from the other end but ended up driving around to the this end and doing them in order! I parked right near GZ and was about to start hunting when a muggle drove past with a unusual device in their trailer - a three wheeled quad bike! Np, not the original tricycle thing but a quad that was missing a rear wheel! Hope they had fun. Then another muggle drove past - almost Bourke St! Once they were gone I started hunting and had the cache in hand in very short order. Thanks to tigersden for this one.
Nice drive the car along to the GZ, excellent hide spot. Signed the log. Thanks tigersden.
[:(!] After the mediate family reunion, I went for a late morning, early afternoon caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was in hand in a matter of minutes.
