Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Lisylou and Bennyboppers). TFTC!
We are staying a few days in the Marburg area, catching up with FelixII for some geocaching fun. A plan was hatched yesterday where an early morning would see the boys doing the water based caches, launching at Watching the Boats, and the girls would circumnavigate the lake in the comfort of air conditioning and get some land based caches, meeting back up at good to the last drop, for a car shuttle to pick the boat up.
It was a great day exploring the Lake Wivenhoe area.
Luckily I read the hint and was so happy that I didn’t have to hunt among all those rocks

Damn, we read the hint...Yep hint gives this hide away! Geokids did a bit of rockhopping whilst Geohubby completed the paper work. Tftc xo
The cache is in need of stone attention. The log is currently a business card and the lid of the container has come off.
Heading to Crows Nest for the 2017 Rural Safari event tomorrow, and it's only logical to visit a few new or previously unfound caches along the way. It was nice to stretch the legs and take a pleasant walk along the dam's edge. It didn't take long to find this one thankfully.
Thanks for the hunt **Irony9**, this find makes #4503. Discover our TB

After a a morning at the craft show and lunch in Gatton StephLego and I and our two Kids went for a drive around the area grabbing a few caches and ending up at Wivenhoe. We were suprised that the entire area was almost deserted on a Saturday. WillPunkey sported this one very quickly
Out with PirateLinda and Abeck58 — testing out our new car. Good opportunity to pick up some caches. TFTC.
Taking the brand new car for a run with Clanbeckett and the geokids so thought we’d find a couple of caches on the way. Lunch at the Fernvale Bakery just makes the journey even better. Thanks for the cache.
Easier found than I thought it would, the terrain was a bit deceiving but in the end we spotted something that didn't quite fit the area
A lovely little walk on a cool winters day. This is brilliantly designed and executed.. I am a bit worried about in the rain though. Perhaps needs a maintenance visit. Such a fun one thanks.
my muggle friend lei and i went for a drive to mt glorious and after lunch decided to keep going as we were enjoying the drive. what a great place for a cache. i read the hint so knew what not to look for. ended up finding the cache easily as it had fallen out of its nice camo. lid has rusted off but log book ok. i tried to put it together as good as i could but it might not last long especially when it rains. thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Found easily enough although took longer to find the trail in the first place! tftc
Found on a geocache finding excursion from our camp nearby at Lumley Hill. Great spot. Scenic wildlife and engineering. Tftc
**# 17082** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect warm Autumn day for a drive around while camped in the area.
Hardly any muggles around and a quick find thankfully.
Thanks for the cache Irony9,

Geomatt and geoboy found this winner while I dog sat geodog in the car. Lovely view from the geobadger
Rocks could really be a distraction if you let them. Out with GR33N0 for a days caching in the area. TFTC from the UK
A quicker find than expected, though I expect the cache container is not sitting as originally planned in the outer container. A nice spot I have passed many many times, and never called in to see. Thanks for showing me somewhere new!
Found it even after my phone went flat haha x marks the spot was good looking around 5his area for the first time thanks from Whyalla SA
Late log. Travelling north for Christmas 2016 to visit my Dad (and Touchstone7 was visiting her folks too) and decided to grab a few caches along the way to break up the trip.
This was one of them. Thanks for the cache and the opportunity to see a little bit of the great country we live in.

Found at moogerah with genghicat. Before travelling further south on our return journey genghicat and i stopped for a swim and photos. Lovely morning.
When I was a teen the church my parents were involved in used to hold youth camps here. I have such wonderful memories of this spot.
The cache led me in a merry circle with the GPS flicking everywhere. In the end I just looked where a good hiding spit was. And it was found.

Was about to give up when saw a flash of cache. Wood of had me save for me spotting the cache climbing down the wall. Tftc
Travelling around Australia and currently in Queensland.
Now stopped in Samford for a few days to catch up with Ajtmb. Nice weather to be out and about so we decided to head out together to visit Mt Glorious as we can't do it with our caravans.
Lovely weather and great company sharing our shared hobby, nothing better than this.
Cache found, log signed then replaced.

Staying at Samford Village along with fellow cachers FelixII. We ventured out together (without our caravans) for a day's caching to Mt Glorious and surrounds. Great weather, great scenery and great company. TFTC
TFTC. Very tricky... Took a little while to find. We were going to give up, Pitstopper's clue helped.
Arrived here with Ms Wig and decided of the best approach for this one, turned out to be the wrong approach, so while Ms Wig went back around, I took the more direct approach. Soon had cache in hand, nicely done!
Thanks Irony9

Oh that was a very nice surprise! well done! Thank you for bringing us here.
Log is nearly full.

Very hot day to go caching at 34 degrees. Had lovely lunch at Cormorant Bay Cafe prior to hunt. Excellent meal and ate way to much so a stroll down the track to Cache perfect. Had planned on going further along track to the Look Out Cache but will leave till next time when cooler. TFTC
Well this was a very clever little hide! Had us fooled for quite a while but we sussed out this little hiding spot eventually. TFTC!
Found on 11th July, just got premium membership as a gift from kerriMG! Thank you so logging my premium finds now. TFTC!
A quick visit with today's caching companions.
We had found this cache back in June so we stayed back in the shade & watched the others suffer the early afternoon heat.
Thankfully it was a relatively quick find & we were on our way.
All good here.

Slow Puncture didn’t have this cache and I was grateful that both Linden/6 and IolantheK came with me so that I could find this one. It was coming to the end of a very long and hot day – sunburnt indeed! I am a nice shade of Red!! [xx(] A quick find thanfully and another smiley added to our cache numbers.
This was the 42nd of 43 caches found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Irony9[/Blue], for showing us this place.

Top spot. I have to say I did not need the walk after a round of golf . However looking into the small inlet I did spy a turtle and 2 3ft long lung fish. Very Kool. Thanks very muchly for the cache.
Out and about this afternoon to grab an unclaimed ftf and went right past this one. We can't do that without paying our respects to the log book and Co. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache. Great spot up here. Tftc
Decided to walk the trail to the lookout and grabbed this one on the way. Found pretty quickly due to the suspicious look of the hide! Tftc
I thought this one was going to be hard but geohubby spotted it right away. TFTC.
Out doing a few caches around Wivenhoe with Breejakekate. When we first saw the search area we thought we would have no hope of finding it but we all thought we saw a good spot & headed off in different directions! Geoniece thought she saw a spot that could be it & low & behold she was right! First cache we've found like this, loved it! Also found our first path tag (thanks RVgeos) so a great cache all round! Tftc Irony9 it was fab
A lovely day for a picnic at Wivenhoe today and was a nice stroll to this one.
Just as we spotted the likely hide a couple of other walkers came along the trail towards us so we kept walking. When they were out of sight we returned and quickly found the cache. Good one!
Cache is in great condition.
Thanks Irony9.

Gray cache and wonderful location, nice easy walk down the trail. A great day to do it , tftc we left s path tag in appreciation.
Out at BVCR today and we decided to take the Wivenhoe route back to Brissy...
I drove down to the lake on a previous trip and didn't realise this cache should be accessed from above and didn't look for it.
Today we toddled down from the highway and soon spotted a good place to hide a cache. Dawesy and I spotted it about the same time, as the camo was off kilter and the cache was exposed. An easy find for us
TFTC Irony9! Don't see you around these days

Walked down the path to this cache and looked around. After a moment the cache appeared! Thanks for the great cache! TFTC
I was in the area with Genyo and Ms Maddy today and this was on our list. We were a little confused about how to get to GZ but found a route quick enough. After preparing for a long search we spotted the cache rather quickly. Fantastic container. TFTC!

We decided it be would be nice to do a run from The Gap, over Mt. Glorious, to Lake Wivenhoe today.
Every now & then you just have to escape suburbia.
I thought this was going to be a bit of a challenge but the caching gods were on my side.
Walked straight to it!
Signed & replaced as found.

Found with Tassiegirl while on our way home from camping at Wivenhoe for the weekend.
It was a nice short stroll for us down to GZ from our parking area up on the road.
With what the area is at GZ we thought this could be hard, we trusted the GPS and went right where the arrow pointed.
Well done on your co-ords as we found it right where the GPS said.
So it wasn't too hard after all.
TFTC.

# 719 - Travelling to Lake Wivenhoe with Rhyssa6 today for a weekend camping with like-minded souls.
We had a nice little walk up to this cache, but were quite surprised that we didn't need the hint. The container was out in the open, very close to where it should have been hidden. It sure is a mystery as how that would have been possible, because the last cachers had more than enough experience and I don't expect them to have left a cache like this. Anyway, after we signed the log I have tried to hide the container the way we should've found it. Hope I did alright.

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there Irony9. We found your cache "Damn Wall" at 8:56:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 10759.

We are camped in Toogoolawah for a couple of days to visit some relatives, and thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area today.
We have been caching now for over ten years and it is really sad to note that the trend of placing small caches without swaps is increasing, especially in a spots such as this - where a much larger container could have been placed. Doesn't anyone want to place large, kid friendly caches any more. [?]
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Nice easy find once you interpret clue and ignore the distractions. Lovely location.
I was on a sort of mini roadtrip today, heading out a little past Esk to grab a couple of specific caches. So on the way I was looking to make a couple of finds as well, and this fit the bill nicely.
I found a park nearby and headed for the path, I had briefly considered a direct route but now see that would have been a rather damp approach. Soon down the path and arriving near GZ. I spotted something that look like it might work and sure enough a container was soon retrieved. I got my name in the log and soon I was heading onwards back to the car.
