Logs
Will give this location for another if they wish. Current ocation has been changed so much.
Like others have stated, this ones gone as the area has had a big clean up and a new fence built. We located the empty container over the new fence but with no lid. Needs replacing.
Bugger should have checked the logs before driving all the way out here. Definitely gone. A nice drive none the less
Not so much a DNF coz there were workmen all around 66, having cleared all shrubs & re-planting grasses by a new fence. There's nowhere obvious left to hid anything for 8-10 metres around GZ. I suspect its gone
Didn't realise there were so many wee lakes around here. Very quiet day on this road, so a quick find, and on our way. TFTC
Heading home after the All Black game finding caches on the way. Amazing the construction around here. TFTC
On my way up the line for a week of r&r and stopped for a couple of nights in Hamilton to pick up some caches. Completed the nearby power tail and decided to collect some Huntly caches. Last one up this road. Cache was a quick find and all in order. TFTC
2020 Passing thru Huntly and saw that this had been replaced so detoured to find.
No luck for us today, found a broken off post in the bushes but no sign of a cache?
Out and about today taking advantage of the nice weather, to collect caches around Huntly. So this is where this road goes. Anyway, got a good view of the lake on the way in. Not so much at GZ, though you do get a little peek. Parked up right next to GZ and found the cache in the first spot I checked, for a super quick find. Cheers for the cache placement!
Was on my way to Auckland for dads birthday, and thought to go see where the new motorway is to go and find a few more caches in Huntly. Wasn't sure we could make it to this one with the power people (?) working at the bridge. Luckily they let me through and was able to do a quick find before slowly moving past the workers again.
Having been in Hamilton for the Easter Bunny event, I was now heading home, doing a few caches in Huntly that I had missed when down here in January.
Glad I'm not heading south, traffic is crawling, if not completely stopped.
There was a lot of crashing about going on in the bushes by lake, was a bit worried about what on earth it could be, until eventually a cow came into view.
Quick find - before continuing my journey. TFTC

Tftc. Went to polo on east mine rd so it was great to come grab these. Muggles around with our last attempt
I was off further down the Waikato today to catch up what is new in the caravan industry at the show on at Mystery Creek. It was a little foggy this morning when I got here. The corrugations in the road started my teeth chattering.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Thought this cache may have gone walkies, as hasn't been logged since Oct '14. Nah ... all good here. Cheers
A big day of caching today... We have plans to clear out a few caches around Huntly, attend our event in Ngaruawahia... and most importantly, have A Night of Terror in the Hakarimatas. Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I have started early...
Quickly found... Just had to make sure not to touch the fence. Took the TB to move along. TFTC.

We parked the campervan to have a lunch. Easy find for the cache and left a TB for others to find
Easy to park the campervan and dogs could enjoy their bones

Another out of the way spot I have never been before. Interesting reading about the lakes and the part they play in the landscape. TFTC
Found it the second place we looked. Container was filled with water so we emptied and dried it. Thank goodness for waterproof logs.
The rain stopped just long enough for me to jump out of my car and make the grab. TFTC.
Having finished the Kiwi Art Project, we headed out with KiwifruitsNZ to grab a few more caches in the area. Another quick find for the afternoon. TFTC
Having finished the Kiwi Art Project trail, Vamber and KiwifruitNZ headed out to secure a few more local Huntley caches.
A quick find as we finished the caches on this road.

lake ? what lake? The drought must have taken it away.
Found easily, beside a dirt road, no views today of any lake.

I enjoyed the short trip through the back roads, and was rewarded by finding the cache. TFTC!

Last find on our return home after a great weekend caching in the Waikato. Interesting passing the coal mine and seeing the layers of coal in the hillside TFTC.
Grabbed this one on the way to Hamilton. Nice drive along to GZ and quick sign of the log book and on our way again. TFTC
Out for a drive in the rain. Not too much of a view of the lake through all the trees.
Many thanks

1.40pm. Quick find. Container was upside down and the lid was off but all seemed intact and reasonably dry.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Quick drive-by, if you can count a dead-end road as a drive-by. Waterproof log very wet and difficult to write on, but dried it enough to write on. I made a smudge kind of signature. Thanks.
Out today collecting caches in and around Huntly with Novalightning hoping to work our way through most of the town, down the road carrying out maintenance on "Coal Pit Racing" so only right to call on by, TFTC
This was the seventeenth find for the day with Cats & Dragons. Planning on collecting all the caches in Huntly today between the to of us. TFTC

Was hoping the cop that had just pulled someone over ahead of me, didnt think I was trying to avoid him as I turned off right. Went in along East Mine Road (cheers greg). Nice quick find as could see where the previous finder had been. Thanks Psychrn, good timing with the publication as we were only 80 kms away and heading in this direction. TFTC

**FTF** another FTF for the clan, it helps when they are so close to home. Note to others, best to approach from East Mine Rd end as the southern end of Kimihia Rd is closed although the Auto GPS says it isn't
