Would be great if the CO could check on this one as it’s not been found for a while and sounds like it should be straight forward. Thanks.
Quiet at work so out for more caching. Lovely sunny day and great to be by the river. Sadly no smiley for us here today. Found what we thought was the most obvious spot but all empty.
Had a really good look for this om a couple or occasions but unable to find. Saw a potential location but no cache.
I am traveling with my daughter Lucinka mundlinka and son Negrritos across the New Zealand. We are from Prague, Czech Republic. We love "geocaching", the main target is caches )
Many beautiful caches, amazing and unforgettable experiences, thank all owners, TFTC )

Thanks staying the night here wish it was longer so I could go geocaching for a day.
Nice little find after giving the tree good work over and finding nothing. My GPS was a little out.
We walked into town and back today from the Whanganui River Top 10 Holiday Park, following the riverside and caching as we went. An enjoyable stroll with plenty to keep us amused.
A quick and easy find, thank you. There was no ‘plug’ to remove. SL. TFTC.

A quick find this afternoon on a pleasant walk to find another cache a bit further upstream. Signed log, TFTC
No luck here on what appears should be a straightforward cache.
Not found for a while, perhaps an owner check would be worthwhile.

Only just finished logging the 100+ caches from the weekend and am shattered. But now to start on the ones we desperately grabbed last Tuesday to qualify for the Skindo 250 finds in February! Thank god for working part-time. Coerced hubby to come and put the pedal to the floor. I should be at home getting ready for going to Wellington tomorrow for work. Never enough time! Parked up and did a fast walk (aka jog) to the spot and it was a super quick find, sign and replace. No muggles around today. Yay. TFTC
After going up and down the Durie Hill steps 10 times (pffffff!), I feel like I deserve a cache . My littlest treasureseeker is with me, so it's an easy find on a lovely sunny day.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Cute and easy find! Did this with my husband. His first find! I'm trying to get him hooked like me
GPS playing up, but was able to locate. Really small and took a while to put the log back in the cache.
After attending RRR's Skills Fun 101 I grabbed a number of local geocaches around Whanganui until dazend the geomobile started playing up. Nursed dazend back to the freedom parking spot on Moutoa Quay to stay the night. This morning she wouldn't start (of course) so went for a walk to grab a few caches while AA fix van.
Nice walk. Log is a bit hard to write on. TFTC

Walking at Whanganui is nice. So we started our track in the Aznac Parade. Our first cache this day was an easy find by my wife. As it was so little, we hope our log is still on the logbook. Greetings from the Dutch travellers.
Out geocaching with piwakawaka16 - hard to get log out - that took longer than locating gz - tftc
Lots of fun. Master 11's first find. High 5's all round. Really tiny cache. (logged under previous name Piwakawaka16)
There were actually several places it could have been but found it soon enough. I also had a mission getting it out, took it to a quieter place with the hope that no other cachers were about to look for it, eventually got it out did a quick sign and replaced. Tftc!
4 down for today just a quick stroll along the lovely river and only almost got run over by a cyclist once.
Reverse order day for us, a rrr cache not being the last but the first. Had a couple hours spare so we went on a time tour around town getting a few dnf's fixed up, and looking for some if the replacement from the flood caches.
This one being close to home, and along the way to amaze, ment it was first to get our attention.
Walked passed it as phone gps said I was near Springvale stadium, and gpsr decided to decide to lead us astray.
Once settled found the hidey thing and had to use a extraction device as log roll did not want to play nice.
Hmmmm ftf since replacement, still feels good, yummy clean log to sign!
Once done we headed out airport way to continue our adventure.
Cheers

Finally managed to get to check on some caches today - after seeing a video of the water washing over the road and walkway we were pretty sure this one would be gone-burger....and it was. Will wait a while for all the cleanup to finish and will replace.
Got a real fruit ice cream and went for a walk along the water front! Lovely area thanks for the cache
Great little cache!!
Lots of muggles walking by/ biking past!
But we were able to retrieve the cache, although it involved getting up onto the ledge to look for it!!
Nevertheless we found it!!
Found with capperz,

This has been a busy caching week for capperz in the caching arena. First off on Wednesday I set off for an all day session (how times have changed, there was a time that would have meant a different activity to Geocaching) down in Wellywood for the Zealandia D/T boosting power trail. I advanced on several Project G C badges and gained a couple of new ones.
What I failed to achieve, and which caused much consternation, was finishing Wednesdays caching stuck on 2498 all time finds and 997 for the year! Those tantalising figures left a hankering for "a bit more" caching so I talked nightow19 into a trip to Wanganui, city of many great innovative caches.
We started at the newbies at Westmere and attempted to fill in all the green boxes/Blue Question marks but some eluded us as we traversed the city. It will still take another trip to attempt to catch them all, but there's no problem with that. I've got an op on my feet later this week which will put me out of caching action for a few weeks so need to get my fix while I can!
Last R R R cache of the day and a nice easy find despite close by traffic and passing cyclists and pedestrians

A nice spot by the river. Cache found, log signed but no plugs concealing cache - TFTH.
#773 Found it on a nice evening stroll along the river bank. All in good order. TFTC
Well we found the cache, but when I went to sign the log I discovered that I'd left my pencil in my other jacket pocket. Damn! Oh well, replaced the cache and will leave logging it for another day. Didn't seem to be any 'plug' when I found it though.
Headed south with C&D, for a full weekend of caching, with the first cache being found at 6.00pm Friday night and finishing with an Event in Hamilton at 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon. Both of us had certain caches we were targeting for the Geo Licence series, as well as finding anything else we driving past, or near. All up we found 165 caches, travelled just over 1700kms and had around 5 hours sleep.
All in all it was an EPIC adventure, exploring in and around the Whanganui to Dannevirke area. We found some great caches along the way and saw some great sights. Thanks to everyone for placing all the caches.
After having some issues with the nearby nightcache, glad to have a easy find. TFTC.

Heading south for a bit of a caching trip in the company of HKCB both of us endeavoring to know off a chunk of the requirements for the Geocaching License Series (different stages, different requirements for each of us), so what better excuse for a road trip.
Between 6.30pm Friday and 1,30pm Sunday I collected approx 140 caches (HKCB=155) and many of these needing to be a great distance from home, so little sleep, so much caching
Some figures for the trip were
1/. approx 1700 kms
2/. Caches mentioned above.
3/. some very memorable caches in Wanganui
4/. lots of laughter and lies
5/. 4 hours sleep
a quick walk down and soon in hand, getting tired now, don't think we can last much longer
thanks for the placement

Keep In mind, sometimes its good to stay on track first instead of assuming its off the track lolz
Found on our last caching day in the area. Suggest the terrain should be increased to 1.5 as there is no wheelchair access to this cache TFTC.
