Our first visit to the area and the plan was to grab as many caches in this series as I could. Managed around 15 before we had to head back. All were found without issue....and most of the time the views of the Loch were great.
Many thanks for the caches and the fun in finding them. Sadly, no sign of Nessie today......

Sneaky hide. Had to pretend we were having a picnic whilst some nearby muggles took photos
Our 100th cache, and what a location to find it! We have really enjoyed this great series. Left a TB. Tftc
On this day of our Scotland trip SkyTrain and I decided to follow the signs of Nessie...
Along the route we also collected some caches to get closer to Nessie - maybe we'll find him...

We left Inverness in pouring rain heading toward Kyle of Lochalsh . The rain actually made Loch Ness much more mysterious, perhaps increasing our chances of a glimpse of the monster! The wet weather put a stop to some of the caching, however by the time we reached Kyle the sun was shining. This is one of the caches we did manage to find along the way.
We did notice that the Tweety Bird trackable is still warm and dry inside.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to Highland Haggi for the hunt.

Found during our summer holidays 2014 in Scotland
For this years holidays we decided to finally do a trip to Scotland with our motorhome - and it was well worth the long journey! Equipped with a membership-card of Historic Scotland, our focus was on the cultural heritage and the landscape. Our tour was roughly Edinburgh - Iverness - Durness - Ullapool - Isle of Skye - First Scotland - Stirling and Edinburgh again. On our way through the loveley countryside we had contact to a lot of very friendly and helpful people and we really enjoyed our time in Scotland!
Thanks galore to Highland Haggi for hiding and maintaining this cache!

We stayed at a campsite in Inverness for the night and in the evening, Ju and I went to Loch Ness to do a few caches on to look for the Monster. Now unfortunately we didn't spot Nessie, but we were able to find some good caches instead. Thank you for placing this cache, we enjoyed doing it.

I drove a little bit along loch ness this afternoon. I looked for nessie but did not see it.
When I passed by a cache I tried to find it.
Some muggles have found the box before me so I explained them the game.

Lovely sunny day for a round trip Strathpeffer-Loch Ness-Strathpeffer.
Nice size but hard to remove quietly - muggles close by.
