Our first visit to the area and the plan was to grab as many caches in this series as I could. Managed around 15 before we had to head back. All were found without issue....and most of the time the views of the Loch were great.
Many thanks for the caches and the fun in finding them. Sadly, no sign of Nessie today......

We left Inverness in pouring rain heading toward Kyle of Lochalsh . The rain actually made Loch Ness much more mysterious, perhaps increasing our chances of a glimpse of the monster! The wet weather put a stop to some of the caching, however by the time we reached Kyle the sun was shining. This is one of the caches we did manage to find along the way.

This years holidays took us to Scotland, where we did a nice 2-week-drive through the country. Although the weather could have been better we had a very nice time and enjoyed the nice castles, the impressing landscape and of course many of the delicious Scottish Single Malt Whiskys .
Starting from Edinburgh we drove to Stirling an then up the eastcoast over Inverness to Ullapool. From there to the Isle of Skye and over Glencoe back to Edinburgh, where we spent the last 3 days of our holidays.

Found during an amazing 3 week road trip around Scotland! We found many amazing caches, attended the Scotland 2014 Mega and side events, hiked the highlands, hunted for the loch ness monster, sang along at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, giggled during the festival and of course, had to buy a pair of wellies to enjoy caching in the typical Scottish weather!
I drove a little bit along loch ness this afternoon. I looked for nessie but did not see it.
When I passed by a cache I tried to find it.
No monster seen here but I found the box
