Sadly, just over 8 years after it was first placed, we have decided to archive this cache. Recently it just kept going missing too frequently. In July of this year (just over 3 months ago) we remade 2 copies of this cache. The first one went missing after just 2 weeks. The second appears to have lasted under 2 months. In the 8 years it's been found 1,176 times, been DNFed 57 times, been "favorited" 189 times and received owner maintenance 17 times. We're not sure how many of those times involved remaking the cache from scratch. Just happy that at least it was found so many times - our second most found cache after Wishing Well (1,313 finds), which has also been made too many times to count and appears to perhaps be currently missing.
zargfinders I didn’t find your cache Doctor Who - Sky Sharks on 8/10/20, 3:26 pm. Nope, searched in the likely spots but came up empty.
Tried to look through each part where it would fit. Dunno if I’m just bad, or if it has been taken.
SO frustrated to discover that this cache went missing less than 2 weeks after placing it and with only one person finding it during that time. Last time it went missing we decided to make two copies at the same time. So this afternoon we put the second one in place. Glad to see that ylimeyoga managed to find it already.
Hopefully the cache isn't being targeted and removed by the same person. Whatever the case, we've made the decision that this is the last time we'll be making it. So hopefully it will be found many more times before we'll need to archive it.

This was soooo much fun to find! Did not expect it to be so suitably camouflaged to the environment around! Thanks so much️
In Sydney for work but gave myself an extra day for some caching to finally collect a few that I had seem on mnay visits here and look interesting.
This was so good that I ignored. Then 5 minutes later.. oh wow. Just brilliant. Fav.
..
Thanks to zargfinders for the placement and fun.

Decided to rebuild this one again the other week and put it back in place this morning. Hopefully it doesn't go missing again so soon.
Debated archiving this one, but decided to make yet another camo this rainy Sunday morning. Will put it in place next time we're in Manly.
TFTC........enjoying our time in the Harbour area, and a plus having caches to find. Visiting from Saskatchewan Canada
Thanks to egs81 for telling us where the cache was (incorrectly) hidden. We located it this afternoon but had to take it home for a few minor repairs before re-hiding and enabling it.
There's hope that the cache is still there - just hidden very differently than it's supposed to be, which would be why we didn't find it. We'll check next time we're in Manly.
Quite sure this one is missing so not sure what it was that the people who logged the last Found It found!
Spent good 30 minutes here with my boss whom I wanted to introduce to geocaching but no luck here today.
Muggles couple making out near gz. But hard to mount a search. Thanks for bringing me to this part of manly though!
Sadly, it's possible that this was has gone missing again. We'll check on it the next time we're in Manly.
Spent 30 minutes at GZ. Left. Rechecked gallery to get a better idea. Returned. 30 more minutes. Still nothing. Hopefully it's not gone missing again.
So we stopped for some food and beverage and then went after this one. Very well done with the hide and container, TFTC!
Happy New Year!!
Staying in Manly and on previous attempts this one was missing so went back to see if the replacement could be found. Was not long until the cache was in hand.
A great size cache for the area with some nice camo, so giving it a favourite point.
Well that’s my New Year souvenir sorted out.
Thanks for the cache and the hide

Just finishing up our Spit Bridge to Manly bike when Pinnstef57 spotted this cache.
Very clever.
We also found a game box for another game nearby but left it be!

Thanks to irisisleuk for adding a log book. If you find the cache before we have a chance to add the clue, send us a message and we'll send you the clue.
When we first passed by the cache there was a muggle sitting close to it so we decided to continue our walk and come back later. At the end of the afternoon we came back and now the area was safe from muggles so we could easily find the cache. Like a previous log already mentioned there was only a pen inside, the log abf trackables are missing. We added a new log and hope this is okay since we couldn't write the hint for the final cache of the series.
TFTC and happy holidays!

Having recently arrived in Manly we immediately set off for some early evening geocaching with this being the third cache we searched for, which was quickly located once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache, where we also discovered Nazgul23's Mommy Travel Bug and the Nazgul23's Son Travel Bug, and greetings from Zimbabwe
Nice view of Manly Wharf. Nice beach and fancy restaurants next by. It was a pleasure to be here. I also left a TB which I brought down from Winterwonderland Switzerland. TFTC
We’re in Sydney for the weekend, captured this well-hidden cache after a great seafood dinner. Thanks for the cache.
Found this cache while visiting Manly.

Da heute keine Muggels vorort waren konnte ich mal in Ruhe suchen. Das gewissen Teil fiel mir ins Auge. Und dieses war es dann auch. Die Tarnung ist optimal gewählt.

In Sydney for work. Decided to check out Manly and do a cache. Looked for a out 30mins but couldn't find. I may have just not been looking for the right thing
This was a fantastic cache. Beautiful spot. A favourite point is on the way. Tftcsl.
This week, I visited Australia on a business trip. After work and on the weekend, I always went for sightseeing and a few caches. I really enjoyed my stay, because the city is really beautiful, the people were great and I was able to find quite a few caches. I also went to the blue mountains and the Manly beach - so I at least had a taste of most of the beauty that Sydney and it's surroundings has to offer. All in all, I found about 65 Caches over the week, that I have been here, met fellow geocachers, saw beautiful places and had a lot of fun!
Today, I wanted to go surfing at manly beach, but it ended up to be a whole day of geocaching together with CptPhoenix&TigerLily. We found a few nice caches and beautiful places as well as some interesting details about parts of the city.
This cache was quickly found.

As a Dr Who fan I just couldn't pass this by. Plus I had a Christmas themed Geocoin looking for a home.
We gaan in Manly cadeautjes kopen voor de kinderenin Nederland top verstopt!! We moeten nog effen een pen kopen om de naam te schrijven
Disappointingly this was our only find over at Manly.
Spotted quickly, log signed and replaced carefully.
Now for the ferry back to Circular Quay.

#1637 Have been in Manly a few times over recent months and have popped by this one a couple of times but generally have had to give it a pass due to the number of muggles around. Despite seeing a couple of DNFs, there was a break in the muggles on a recent visit, so I thought I'd give it a go. All I succeeded in doing was getting my hands quite dirty. A week passed and I was back in Manly and was delighted to see that, while unfortunately the cache had in fact been muggled, it had been lovingly recreated and reinstated. Unfortunately this visit had lots of workmen muggles repairing the shark net, but now that I had spotted it, I knew I just had to bide my time. So after dinner tonight on the way back to the hotel I detoured via GZ (actually went in almost the opposite direction to my hotel). I was happy to see there were absolutely no muggles within 100m so quick grab, sign log, replace and I was on my way. TFTC zargfinders
With 4 DNFs in a row, we decided to check on this cache this afternoon. How frustrating to find that it was missing again - with only one person finding it since it was remade and replaced on August 21st. Fortunately, in August we'd remade TWO of the caches (both half size, since twice someone had broken it in half) so today we could simply put the second one in place. Not sure we'll be keen to remake it another time if it goes missing again.
Cache is back in place and ready to be found. Please retrieve with stealth and replace it exactly as found.

In Sydney for the weekend to stay with friends in Manly. Thought the weather was going to be horrible and raining all weekend but woke up today and the sun is shining.
So we decided to head out for a walk down to the beach that got extended along to North Heads.
Searched high and low here with no look, checked every nook and cranny, just found lots of bugs and spiders... but no cache

Couldn’t retrieve because muggles were having a picnic at the spot. Will try again later.
Fixed the broken cache instead of starting from scratch. So it's not quite the same size as the original, but good enough. Put it back in place on Sunday, but forgot to enable it until today.
Cache is ready and waiting to be found.

When we checked on the cache this afternoon, not only was the lid broken, but half of the camo was missing - having been broken off (intentionally, as it would have taken some effort). So we took the cache home and now have to decide what to do with it. Repair what's left of it (so it's not quite the same as originally intended), remake or archive. We'll make a decision in the next couple of weeks.
Tftc. Returned to what we think may be original area but couldn't find good spot at shoulder height so is lower. First find for Julia!
Day 17 of our adventure across Australia. Traveling from Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. We were suppose to fly into Melbourne this morning but our flight was canceled. We got put up in the CBD. We walked over to the Justice and Police Museum. After that we jumped on a Ferry to Manley. It was a chilly, sunny and very windy day. I decided to grab a cache while here. This was the closest and most reasonable with my time and foot power. I got to GZ and searched high and low near and far. Having no luck I stopped and re read the cache page and logs. That was what I needed. I soon found a battered cache. I made my mark and put it back where I found it but not where it belongs. Thanks to the CO for the help. TFTC
The cache has been returned to the wrong place. Hopefully it is still there but we can't check on it because we're overseas. Apparently it has been placed amongst the nearby plants. It is a long PVC pipe coated with brown pointing. The lid has been broken. If you find it can you please replace it (lid end first) in the only hole in the stone wall that's long enough for it to fit in. It's probably at about shoulder height. If you manage to find the cache (which is meant to look like an old drainpipe) please send us a message so we can delete this note, since it's a spoiler. Thanks
