Working my way west before I meet up with some other cachers for a weekend in Stanthorpe.
Driving past this one and I thought I would give it a try, no luck today, should have read the logs first as I wasted 30 minutes looking for this one.

Thought that after someone having some luck on the same day we could locate but walked around for about 15mins with no luck, it’s on the other side of the reserve but couldn’t see it this time!
I agree with the previous two visitors. I had a good sweep around out to about 10 metres from the point of GZ, but no sign of anything cache-like, either higher up, or lying on the ground. The early pioneers were certainly hardy and put up with deprivations, including running short of water. Thankfully the small reservoir helped for a while unitl it was no longer needed. TFTC anyway, Geo_Spatial.
Not in the obvious spot it would be if I was to place a cache.. had a look around on the ground and couldn’t find it as someone had posted they found it on the ground a while back.
Wow that was fun!! I must say it is kinda high but we found it! Our first EVER geocache!! Great hiding spot! Don’t give up it’s up in a tree! Off to our next one! Found 29/8/2020
All good here. On my way to Toowoomba wanted to stop for a break. Nice park.

Big random adventure today. Started in Beaudesert, Harrisville, Peak Crossing, Waloon, Helidon, Murphys Creek, Mount Kynoch, Toowoomba for lunch, Cambooya, Warwick, Killarney, Boonah then Beaudesert. 450 kilometres, 13 hours of driving, many memories and an absolute delight.
This was cache #5 of a total 10. Loved reading the history for this one, it amazing how a task that humans find so hard these days was just a run of the mill task many years ago. Walked into the park and again Mrs Rogersclan got distracted so I beelined it for the likely tree.
Mrs Rogersclan turned up eventually and went for a different tree and you can imagine my annoyance when the magic words "found it" were exclaimed. You win some, you lose some. I must ask, how tall are you though? I'm 6 foot 8 and that was above my eye line
Thanks for the cache Geo_Spatial

Our first for the morning Great to get out and about again...carefully of course.
As i picked up the container, it was quickly dropped as its hairy guardian made itself known.
After gently nudging it away from the container, we signed log book and replaced cache as found, minus the

Easy find, wear boots if you're attempting after rain. Bring bug spray there are lots of creepy crawlers around tftc
don’t go if it’s been raining (unless you’re wearing boots)!! fun find. a little above eye level but easy to find if you’re approaching from the right angle ♡
My muggle husband and I are on the way to toowoomba for the weekend and we picked up a few smileys on the way. This was a nice little park . Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Wow, it’s not often you see a logbook from 2012 in such good condition! We placed our name on a random page, as it seemed others had also done. Cool spot, locals are friendly, TFTC!
TFTC In the dark we did find a geocache that was eye high... we logged our name & set it back so the next geocacher can find the crack.

TFTC! Out on my country drive, already driven past here to find a cache, so back I come! What a beautiful park, right in the highway! Very well hidden and very clever!
I can't count the number of times I've driven the hwy never knowing of neither this little park or the joys of geocaching over the years, and now thanks to this cache and me renting a car for geomuster, i guess ive started my geotrek already. Fascinated by many of the trees here.
Cache fine. Dry. Would have left some swag but didnt have anything but my phone and pen. Tftc

I remember the last time I called in to this park. I was in 2006 and I was looking for my first GCA cache "Elvis has left the Building". I found that one after a bit of a search but this one was a lot easier to find as I spotted it as soon as I got close to the area.
Good to finally get a smilie on this one as I have flown past on the highway countless times.

A spot of caching on my drive home from work. Cute park- never realised it existed until now! Tftc
Attending an Event in Esk today so why not turn a few green boxes into Smilies along the way. Parked close by and took the short walk in search of the cache. It didn't take long when I was on the right side of GZ. No spiders were home or at least I didn't see any. Signed the log and replaced cache as found. TFTC
Usually, the trip home from Brisbane is after a big day and it's night time or we're exhausted. Today was more leisurely so we decided to stop. Was surprised to find the church and school and this historical park! TFTC
TFTC- had a little trouble finding it. The kids almost gave up but we eventually got there!
Was harder was completely covered so kids couldn't find and they were looking at their own eye height
Found by Mary & David at 0845. Our first for the day as we head to Roma tonight, then QOGM from tomorrow. On to WAGB after that. As always, sorry to leave the Brisbane family and our two oldest grandchildren. A few spots of rain. Very interesting history here. Our thanks to Geo_Spatial.
A quick find today on the way from Brisbane after an emergency flight from Sydney to visit Toowoomba and my sister who has had some bad luck lately.
Cache container in good condition.
Log needs to be replaced. Whilst there is room to write in the log both logs will run out of room soon.
Talked to a magpie curious check me and the cache out.
Took a pic of the car I'm travel in...
