Chatting with previous finders I feel like we searched in the right spot to find this one back in October. With no response to a call to be checked on and subsequent DNF's perhaps it is time for this one to go.
I visited this one with Net88 this morning and after a loong time hunting about we checked previous logs which suggested a few more specific spots. More hunting, no luck. Net made a PAF which gave us a very specific spot. We found some of the cache camo there, but the container and contents are gone. I'd suggest this one needs an owner check-up to make sure it is still there.
Attended here with a new geo friend. Looked very carefully for a long time without any success. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad Carer Lis Brown.
Damn this one is annoying... My second attemp, this time with a few muggles around, but no cache found. I called for help and got a rough idea on where to look but failed in my quest. When a handful of kayakers cam to join the half a dozen anglers, I gave it away.
Next time I'll come armed with a handful of hunters to help me search...

Out and about on the southside collecting smilies. This one has eluded me a couple of times but I was in the area and it came up as the next closest. Mmmm, do I really want to[?][?][?] A read of the recent logs gave me some hope and so I headed to GZ. Knowing the co-ords were slightly out was a huge help and I found the cache in about 30 seconds Happy about that! Finally I get to say, TFTC, theuknurse.
TFTC!!!! We didn't let an overcast day stop us from getting out and about geocaching - though the heavy rain did stop us in the end.....we have to come back to finish finding the caches in the area!
We looked and looked but no luck but we thought that cache got washed away but we where looking under a lot of rocks we also looked at the photo to see if we where close but we gave up so no luck
Found by geo son on an after school search. What seemed to appear difficult at first, turned out to be easy! Quite difficult to remove from its hide. Re-positioned in hide gently TFTC!
This one has been haunting me for too long, today I took care of it's mocking ways. Note to the next people to search for it, it is about 8 m off GZ. Don't go rummaging under all the rocks at GZ like I did. I would have updated the true GZ but way too much cloud coverage today.
Finally today the one cache that has been my nemesis in the area has been found. Thanks to theuknurse for replacing the container, but now it seems the coords may be off slightly.

TFTC. We searched for ages under all the rocks. It wasn't until I decided to stand in the shade for a moment and just happened to look down and there it was looking at me.
Looked and looked and looked with 3 others but sadly did not find - I would bet it is no longer there!
I'm not convinced that the cache is not here but in the absence of the CO's interest in maintaining it, can only assume that it's under a tonne of debris.
Please either confirm the cache is here, replace or archive. This will deter others from the fruitless pursuit of a non-existent cache
I do recall that this cache was deep even when there wasn't a lot of debris washed up by recent storms.
Today's search was focussed and thorough!!!

This was the primary point of interest today and was in the end approached by four of us. Myself, Ms Maddy, Pauldp72 and Hot Wheels Duo, all descended onto GZ.
Although Myself and Pauldp72 had been here before HWD had not, and to help out in the efforts, Ms Maddy joined us as a Previous Finder. Before Ms Maddy arrived, the other three of us had already got into the action of looking for a cache, there was a here about three but that was half ignored i think.
On arrival Ms Maddy pulled us all together to the GZ she recalls or the general area and the digging and shifting and reach begun, for a good hour we were approaching every rock in every way we could imagine, and while we made some interesting finds, such as coral, shells and various other bits and pieces, there was not cache materializing for us.
The only thing that stopped us here today turned out to be the rain which started to come down pretty hard. Kind of a pity as maybe just that couple of more minutes might have produced something, OR maybe another hour could have been wasted for nothing. If the cache is here it is well and truly buried and not surprising after the weather events just after the last find in January.

Tried looking for this on our day out geo hunting with the husband and dog. No luck after looking for about 20 min. While the husband was looking for crabs and distracting muggles I was quietly on the rocks looking and turning up them all lol but still no luck. better luck next time
Another attempt to find this one today. Based on the recent severe weather and unusually high tides (the line of debris is well above the area indicated as GZ) I feel this cache is almost certainy gone. Would the CO please check. Thank you.
Out and about with IolantheK and svn07 for a Friday of caching and cruising around town.
After using the clue we have determined that this cache has probably floated away.
Thanks for the cache.

Out and about on the southside again, with svn07 and Brother Colin for another Binge Friday
svn07 and I have been here before with no luck, but even with another to help search we still came up empty-handed

I was here at night with a previous finder - Ms Maddy and despite searching all over for this one for quite some time with a powerful torch, no luck for us. I second the call to maintenance, the area seems to have copped it from the weather a bit. Or at least needs an extra hint. I noted the spoiler photo doesn't match up with GZ any more.
Really did want to find this one but no luck. The last find was before the highest and roughest tides in January so who knows might be there but just much better covered.
Careful searching is need as there is a lot of broken glass here.

Oh dear, another dnf for us this afternoon. We had a good look at several likely locations but we were hampered when the gps gave out. Replacement power was back in the car. As the last finder was prior to the big storms we decided that without a decent hint we could be searching for no reward. We'll come and try again another day.
Quite surprised this one is still here! Nearby muggles fishing and there was recent high tides. Cache in good order tho. TFTC
Returned today and not a muggle in sight! What a luxury!
Having looked at the photo, the cache was a quick find this time
It was RIGHT where I expected it to be but the reach is quite deeeeep!
One of my caching buddies was sitting on that rock on Sat... aaaargh!

So many rocks so little time!
Scrabbled around with Couchmen and HNRooster today but didn't get a chance to do a thorough search.
Oddly, a tent right next to GZ and two women with children. There are better places on that coastal strip to have a picnic! One of them asked HNRooster what we were looking for. Apparently we'd dropped a Smurf
Got home late and then noticed the photo. We did look at the plants which were dead.
Need to go back on a weekday when it's quieter. I'm not convinced it's not there somewhere.

Pulled up here in the bike. Sat in the shade under the tree and watched the nearby fishing muggle. He moved further along the bank so I managed a quick search.
Was on my hands and knees, scrounging around the rocks, when some paddlers arrived at the beach and start moving their canoes to nearby cars. Once the paddlers had finished, some more fishermen arrived and I called a very muggly DNF.

Split up with our sticks and started poking away between the rocks. No luck today... will have to come back some time and try again.
Hitting the Cleveland area with Wombles 'n' co & Gambler200 today.
Arrived at GZ..... ugh! There were some muggles nearish by but they were not interested in us, they were too busy fishing to pay us any attention so we set about having a look.... I have to say after the last few times I have looked for a micro in rocks I was not filled with joy :/
checked out the photo.... it looked like it might be here.... can't find it... once again I PAF and was told where to look... yep that is just where I was looking.... looked some more... gave up :/
rocks and micros.....!! ugh! lol
thanks anyway

We spent a while searching here, but had no luck

Great find by adds photo now not much help plants dead. Took some time to get out from under rock.
Thanks for bringing us here. Unfortunately too many muggles lurking around fishing and swimming their dogs, will have to wait for another day o find it.
I had missed out on having a crack at finding this cache a couple of weeks ago due to muggle interference
To avoid a repeat, I made sure to arrive earlier this time around
That seemed to work and with the place to meself I poked gingerly around the rocks.
Hmmm, could take a while !!
The only useful clue was a photo, which I didn't have [:o]
Think, If, think !!
Well you wouldn't want to hide a cache under the H.A.T. !!
So that narrowed down the search area a bit
A determined 20 minutes later and I finally hit paydirt and saw the top of the cache.
It took a couple more minutes to wriggle the blighter free
This is definitely a hands and knees cache find [^]

Well.. This took quite abit to find.. Thankfully reading a few logs put us on track and the cache was in hand. Lovely spot. Tftc!
# 835. We searched and searched the rocks for this one and could not find it. After discovering there was a photo it narrowed the search area a little but it still took some time before Robmc had it to hand, much to our relief. Enjoyed the views of the flat, calm water whilst we were here. Thanks theuknurse.
We were walking towards GZ and we saw the channel marker, and hoped it wasn't there! When we came across the rocks, our hearts sunk. We have spent a lot of time searching rocks, and a micro ain't much fun. Turned over quite a few, and then read that there was a photo clue. Went back to the car and got on the net for the photo. It wasn't a lot of assistance as we couldn't identify the view, but it did show plants, so that narrowed the search. Eventually found.
Great view form here.
Thanks, Robmc.

This one was a bit of a saga actually as we all looked and looked unsuccessfully for a while.
Then we noticed that a picture was placed on the cache page so Rob returned to the car to look it up whilst Betty Boo and I wandered down to the next cache. Then we returned to find Rob with the grainy image which at least narrowed the search area down. Soon Rob had it in his hand to much relief all round.

As I approached the search area I noticed a block of wood standing on the sand with a fishing knife stabbed into the end of it. The scabbard for it was adjacent. No sign of an owner around everywhere.
I did a search of the more obvious spots with no luck and then resorted to a PAF call and was directed to a spot where I hadn't searched. The cache was then easy to locate.
I decided that after 20 minutes without seeing anyone the knife and scabbard would now have a new owner. I hope it was not part of a crime scene. TFTC

Out in the Redlands Bay area so thought we would get in & do a lot of the path series.
A big effort & lots of work done to create this series
Was just about to give up on this one, but as I was making my way back carefully i thought that looks like a good spot & bingo there it was. So many places to look, a tricky hide
Thanks theuknurse

This one had me stumped. After a nice walk from where I parked I had the area to myself and a nice view of low tide. The co-ords were jumpy and I can't say the hint was any help at all as I started looking all around. I went looking for the fabled photo hint but only now see it is in a log and not on the cache page. After some time I was sick of poking about rocks and called it a DNF. Next time perhaps.
Boy are we glad we came along after you had posted a picture, otherwise we could have been here a long time I think.Studied the picture carefully and found it though and grabed the TB to head south over the border TFTC.theuknurse. P.S. we were hoping to see you at the event to say hello but I don't think you got there.
I am sure I looked there previously-Oh well I had better learn to look and search deeper.

As the nearby cache GZ was populated with muggles, decided to do this as the first one today. Having seen the spoiler pic earlier,I knew where to start.
15 mins of search yielded nothing, so it was time to cheat and take a fresh look at the photo. A similar spot was then easy to find and what do you know, after a few more minutes of effort, there it was!
TFTC! Left TB Rumbledoor to greet the next finder.

Bugger... I had a lengthy scout around for this one this morning only to be defeated. I checked exactly where the spoiler pic suggests but still missed it. That said, the note from the CO and the pic were not on the page when I was at GZ. Now I am back over the west and nowhere near... Grr...
If the person who scores FTF can put a big orange flag at the hiding spot, that would be great...

Went to check cache and coordinates. All good exactly where I left it. Attached photo as further clue.
Had a look this afternoon with Cleveland girl after she had spent two and a half hours searching this morning. Gave up after an hour. Think we looked under every rock twice? Is it there? If so we feel a difficulty rating more than 1.5 is needed. Still a lovely spot and a nice place to spend an hour even without a cache to log.
Had a good look this morning for two and a half hours. Culture 50 turned up while I was searching and left half an hour later empty handed. Returned for another hour with onward bound after he got home from work. Still nothing. Nice spot anyway.
Too good for me today-so many places , some illogical, so me logical -but no cache for me. spent at least 30mins .
